One observation I made after completing the full series was the Sultanas thought they were above the law, they thought because they were a part of the Dynasty that they could make decisions for Sulieman. But Sulieman was a different ruler, he moved differently, he was just and did what he thought was right. Mahidevran never took accountability for her mistakes and no one other then Sulieman held her accountable.. Yes she's the mother of a Prince but that doesn't make her invincible and i agree 100% with the Sultan: Mahidevran poisoned their relationship, she brought this on herself. And to make matter worse she's going to keep poisoning their relationship and it's not out of love but jealousy, hate and possession. It has never been about love if you ask me, Mahidevran wanted to possess Sulieman and his Power.
I must add that when Suliman was a prince he and Maiderhavan were happy in Erdine with their son Mustafa it changed when he became the Sultan in Istanbul. He was amongst manipulative people and his outlook developed as his harem grew .

Ibrahim hates competition. He knows Mahi is not a competition and Sultan doesn't love her like he does to Hürrem. So İbrahim will always remain the Sultan's chief hand and man. But Hürrem's ambition makes him scared of losing Sultan. A great plot indeed!
Hurrem is right , Ibrahim started the war between them, Hurrem didn't tell anything about Hatice Sultan and Ibrahim relationship to Sulaiman Sultan yet Ibrahim started to get rid of Her, by putting Maria in the Sultans Private chamber,..poor Maria, I can't blame Hurrem why she reacts that way to Maria, before giving birth she was poisoned, when she gave birth she had PPD, and Valide keeps on taking away her son, Her mind is like a rollercoaster, that makes her do bad things like poisoning her best friend instead of understanding Gulnehals condition....
She's a rotten mother for constantly crying and falling apart in front of him. He shouldn't have to be dealing with her adult/love life problems in front of him.
Its just a drama. They made it dramatic more than realistic! Don't just believed the real history based on it fully! Sultan Suleiman never slept with another woman after Hurrem. Because only hurrem was sultan's one & only true love. Sultan Suleiman was loyal to Hurrem for his whole Lifetime!

Poor Maria didn’t deserve that, either lose your head or sleep with the Sultan,, I think Hurrem was even more mad because she had to give birth without her best friend or her love by her side
Maria was used by Ibrahim tto anger Hurrem and destroy the relationship of sulaiman and hurrem. Ibrahim think that Sulaiman's attention will change to Maria if he introduced Maria as concubine. But Sulaiman see Maria as an ordinary concubine for passtime only. Hurrem knew it was ibrahim's game so she showed to ibrahim that not even a bestfriend can mess between her and sulaiman.
Awww, the way all three women lept up to help Sultan's son when he tripped 🥰 you could feel their love and protectiveness, like lionesses. Ironic and fitting 😅
It is great confusion that who is good and who is bad. Sometime I think Mahidevran is good and feel bad for her,on the other side sometome I feel bad for hurem. But I feel really sorry for Maria urf Gulnihar.
The main ladies are all EVIL - Hurrem/Mahidervan/Valide/Hatice and her sisters Sha/Fatma. Later you will see Victoria/Firuze/Mirihmah etc/Gulsah who works for Mahidervan. Men who are bad are few. One of the bad guys is Ibrahim of course and a handful of greedy ones who were beheaded. Men's badness normally stems from wanting wealth but women's could be so petty e.g. possessiveness/jealousy/petty greed etc. The good ones you can count on the fingers of one hand - Maria or Gunihal/the concubine who takes care of Mehmet (forgot her name) and a few more.

@@northsouth6739Yes, I agree completely. They didn't respect a lot of the real history. As example in the series literally every random girl is called a "sultana", Mahidevran was called "Haseki" non stop, overall "HASEKI SULTAN"! Prof. Leslie Peirce confirmed that Mahidevran only had the title of ‘hatun’ which was the title of all non-imperial women of the harem etc. I understand the screenwriters that they needed drama, but to humiliate one of the most powerful women of the 16th century, Hurrem Sultan, the principal consort and legal wife of Suleiman the Magnificent, the mother of his six children, its really too much!! I have to admit that Hurrem went a little too far with what she did to Maria's face (Idk how to spell her new name lol) but at the end of the day hurrem has become a product of all the cunning and hatred that comes with being a concubine to the Sultan. They all were. Eg. When u first see mahidvran with the sultan in ep1 she's kind and carefree. She believes he loves her and is happy despite him having other concubines because she knows she's his favorite and she bore him a son. So not only is she vavoured by the sultan but by giving him an heir her status went up. But then Hurrem came. She became the new favorite. She was being showered with gifts and affection when Mahidvran just had to take care of the prince, as is her responsibility as her mother, but like she said, she wanted things to go back to how they were. Nd his actions alone when he was hurrem was enough proof to mahidvran that she was losing the sultan because that's how he once treated her too. Everything she did, she did in order to get back that happy family they were at the beginning. The same goes for hurrem. Eventhough she says she refuses to become like mahidvran, her actions with Maria prove that they are too sides of the same coin. She was being showed with love and affection from the sultan. And gifts and the promise of becoming his sultan, his wife because they proclaimed their love to one another. And remember she was born Russian and isn't used to their customs to usually when someone says they love you they mean they see a future with u and only u. And on top of that maria was her best friend so she's the last person she expected this from and acted out of hurt. As for Maria, she was just a victim of Ibrahim's schemes. And the servants weren't innocent either. Their "advice" to Maria was basically the same they gave to hurrem. That you have to become favored by the sultan and he'll make you his sultan if you give him a son. Yeah she regretted what she did at first but then the promise of no longer being a slave was given to her. All these women were just fighting for their freedom. And seeing as how he owned them, the only way they could be "free" was if they stood at his side. And tbh this century would've made a villain out of any women.

Time he should be spending with her. Ibrahim hated Hurrem's arrogance from there thinking she was above Suleiman's job and the state.

Agreee....
Absolutely agree with you. There's nothing of love in her heart. She even poisons her son, who's emotionally scarred by her
Well said. You nailed it 👍🏻
I must add that when Suliman was a prince he and Maiderhavan were happy in Erdine with their son Mustafa it changed when he became the Sultan in Istanbul. He was amongst manipulative people and his outlook developed as his harem grew .

Gulnihal is a fictional character
It looks all doing favour for themself do haram to others Sultan too. Except Sultan sister character
No one is good in this series
There is no person in this world who is totally good or totally bad. Bad and good is what makes a human human

Haseki Sultan was the title used for the chief consort of an Ottoman Sultan. In later years, the meaning of the title changed to "imperial consort". Hürrem Sultan, principal consort and legal wife of Suleiman the Magnificent, was the first holder of this title. Wikipedia

The prayer for Gülnihal . Really sweet moment . And look like it helped . Very good .
Sultan should have asked his sister's choice first

@Eldn they actually did ask her if she had someone in her heart, but of course she said no because she wasn't brave enough to say it out loud.
