The NBA at its peak. Marv announcing, NBC coverage, Rock n Roll part 2, old Chicago Stadium, the Finals logo actually on the court, MJ going for another chip… all the feels.
1:09 - "Michael's gonna come in and wrap this. He is. That's what's gonna happen. It's over." From that point on, Jordan scored 12 of the Bulls' final 19 points, including their last 6 to ice the game.
Man... Michael Jordan.... What else can be said. The man is legend and was unstoppable in the 90s. Me and my friends were born and raised in FL and ALL of us wore Chicago bulls gear when we were kids. Epic times!!
One of my best memories of my youth! 14 years old, 4am in Germany watching it live on TV. And everybody around the world knew „Michael is gonna come in and rock this“!
It told the story of the truth. Bulls were down 17 and starters on the bench. Bench mob went 14-2 run and Jordan said thanks guys I'll go close this out lol
Another reason for the crowd's enthusiasm: many (most?) of us did NOT have tickets for a potential Game 7. Michael's jump onto the table was spontaneous and perfect. A year later, hosting a possible championship Game 5 vs. the Suns, they had a stage prepared BEFORE the game. Isn't presuming is the worst kind of assuming? Anyway...great post. Give Marv a final. "Yes!"
@@ashotonehlobyjacksilverste4416 Great seats. First balcony. Section E in the first row. The group I glommed onto got their season tickets during Jordan's first month. Mostly because of Michael, but partly due to years of standing to see in-person Bobby Hull.
@@ashotonehlobyjacksilverste4416 Too many great Stadium moments - RUclips would accuse me of starting a blog. And all now even better thanks the cavernous United Center, a great place for escalator rides and a more civilized urine experience. But to watch a game? No, thank you.
1:10 “Michael’s gonna come in and wrap this”. Marv was right. Both Michael and Scottie both came on a wrapped up the Bulls 2nd straight championship from this moment on. Once it got to a 3 point game and the Gary Glitter “Rock and Roll Part 2” song was blasting through the Chicago Stadium speakers you knew the Bulls were gonna win.
They really should have included the Bulls coming back in this game for the Last Dance. They unnecessarily glossed over this game and didn’t tell the story. It would have in no way hurt Michael’s legacy.
Agreed 100%. One of the many missteps (in my view) of TLD. MJ of course was on the bench cheering his head off throughout the comeback, and we were still down three when he came back in, so it's not as if he wasn't at all involved. I'm reading Pip's autobiography "Unguarded" and he made the same point, that it should have been included. Ah well. The good ol days 😢
You know that building was LiiiiiiiiiiiiiT !!!!
Back in the days when Marv Albert and Gary Glitter were the bon ton
I watched this game !
Me too!
Stacey King with the "Onions, Baby, Onions!!!!" moment of his own
Joker dancing at the stair outside the stadium 🤡
Forget the Joker movie. The. Bulls made this famous
It was famous before either but he is one of the most notorious paedophiles in British and Vietnam history
This and the Colorado Avalanche both had the best crowd reaction to Rock and Roll Part 2!
I like the miami heat crowd they chant "HEAT" along with the song
Marv Albert and Mike Fratello

Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa BULLS!
is over...
The bulls took the lead when Jordan and Pippen were on the bench
Hi! Bulls tied the game 85-85 on a Pippen 3 and took the lead 87-85 on an MJ steal and dunk.
Pippen was on the floor
1:10 :-) :-)
