    2 reasons why the footage is wobbly / shaky:
    - Heavy robot arms like these require a very solid foundation, usually you either screw them into the floor or you at least put a lot of weight on the base. Otherwise, their own weight will lead to unwanted movement of the base and the robot itself.
    - Your camera and lens has "floating" elements that get shaken around by those moves. There are lenses and cameras without this problem which should be used instead here. I have a camera and lens without image stabilizer specifically to get around this issue.

    My company has two UR5 robots. They are really easy to program. Amazing machines. I haven't tried and camera stuff with one, but it sounds like fun!

    I LOVED EVERY SINGLE MINUTE OF THIS!!!! Especially the movie in the end! You have such a great sense of humor, and I am so impressed with the way you implement the filming techniques. The robot council should definitely let you keep the evil robot arm - only you could teach it some manners (maybe.... xD )

    The smooth camera movements are hypnotizing (except when you bump it with the light xD), I can really see this be utilized by big youtubers soon. Also at that price it might be interesting to combine it with industrial 3D Scanners which are about the same price point.

    Nice video,
    I recently programmed a copy UR 5s of them to move a copy of characters around for a set of Christmas windows and agree that they are easy to get started with programming and interfacing them to each other so far they have performed about 29,000 w minute shows in 7 weeks with one more week to go.
    And whilst we have had 3 minor stoppages in that time none where due to the robots just extra sensors we integrated to ensure “Bert” & “Ernie” ( yes I named them ) getting blocked by other set pieces we used and in one a plug coming out of a supervisory PLC a used to adapt them into our control system.

    What a cool opportunity to work with the arm, and what a great video!!! I hope you have many more opportunities to collaborate in the future. Awesome stuff 👏 👍

    This was very interesting, & educational as well 🎉. I wish that I had the money 💰. But maybe 🤔 you could make a video 🎥. On building a robot 🤖 arm. From simple Home Depot parts. Since I don’t know how to Code. Thank you 🙏 once again.

    Hi,
    Maybe it’s a little bit old for this comment however right now robotica company are changing the business model a gives the robot “as a service”. Basically you pay a rent for the robot and a fee for how much time you use it.
    This could be beneficial for people who are not a high tier industry but a smaller entrepreneur.

    Would it be possible for you to make a video about how to mount huge/ heavy props to your body?
    I want to make something from a game and there's these 2 huge pieces that are going to be floating off the side of my shoulders but I'm not sure how to make it so I can wear it without making it look very clunky

    Haha, so much happening, but all good. It is a pretty dope video, and those moving shots takes with the robot are pretty awesome!!! :D I'm guessing a lot of the shots in the workshop where programmed, but when using them live, like in a studio, are they controlled live?

    • @Zibartas
      @Zibartas  3 года назад +1

      I think it depends- either preprogrammed and triggered by the producers or on a continuous loop for those gliding atmospheric shots , to which broadcast directors cut away during a stream/transmission. But in reality probably a combination :D

    • @Ninkashi
      @Ninkashi 3 года назад

      I would imagine it to be hard/tricky to controlle live during a broadcast, so that makes sense 😊

    sick I been waiting for you to upload something for a while! hows the straight movements of the arm?

    • @Zibartas
      @Zibartas  3 года назад

      It's really simple to move the robot in straight lines due to their clever software - you can either specify the degrees of individual joint, or specify the distance the gripper travels in 3 dimensions, XYZ. Let's say you specify that the gripper needs to move 10cm forward, on the X axis. The software will calculate how all the joints need to move to execute such a move - which is genius. I think this process is called inverse kinematics in math/robotics.
