Worth the wait! What a lovely interpretation of SR No. 1... and now I'm even more tempted to get on with my own attempt. I think my favorite part is how you removed the splashers from the footplate. I tried to do the same but my clumsiness caused the entire runningboard to come in two... lessons learned!
Excited to see the completed diorama plus potential future SR flights of fancy. It's always great to see a down-to-earth, grounded Sodor brought to life and I'm sure the Rev. Awdry would be proud. Keep up the fantastic work!

That’s brilliant to hear, and best of luck with your model!
So the footplate took a bit of time to figure out, as too much and the model might not have much structural stability, so slow me steady with the dremel on that one!
That’s an honour to read, always been a fan of the SR, and it’s been super fun modelling it like this, and certainly won’t be the last!

The (unnecessary) music is much too loud. Why you just don’t get rid of it, it is not a benefit? It is the content that makes a video professional. Not being able to add background music. • @macnavi

@@GWilliamsonModels Can I ask why you deem the background noise essential? Btw, you should be able to increase the recorded audio in your video editing software (gain). • @GWilliamsonModels

@@macnavi yes of course: I watch a lot of RUclips videos, and feel the music adds to it. The music has been too loud by error, as stated, but I would never remove music from my videos, as I hardly ever finish watching a video with no music.
