These are the kinds of Brawls I love. Pure random, new hero (usually a boss or something) and completely broken. The fun moments and stories that come outta this kind of Brawl are always the best.

The the best brawl of all time part was a joke. I'm ftp as well and someone who enjoys unique brawls. Rich only ladder is not something someone who only goes to 20 would even do if I could.

Was trying to think of a way to sum up a better Kazakus, this is probably it. 4 mana summon a Jade with 1 or 2 jade cards is like win in 8 turns or die

I was in this comment section before Skipperino. Then I wasted 4 minutes and then I wrote this comment.

I actually did really well with Kazakus so far in this Brawl but I did play Raza on curve in most of my games and that probably is the main reason why.
Shadowverse also has different heros with unique emotes
No matter how early you are, you can never beat the Kripperinos.

I just fucking realized that Small time Buccaneer says "Who goes tharrr?" because Patches says "I'm in charge now!" and has charge, so Patches is intended to always enter the battleground after a STB lol
I wanna see the next tavern brawl exactly the same as wild casual, but with a twist. Everyone gets a 31st card in their deck that cannot be mulliganed for, that is completely random from all cards. And I mean ALL cards. We are talking classic and standard cards. Talking wild-only cards. Talking unobtainable cards like Squire, Excess Mana, and Death Bloom (from Loatheb boss fight). We are talking about unnurfed cards (in addition to current versions) like 8-mana Pyroblasts and Undertakers that gain attack AND health after each deathrattle minion is played.
And last but not least. All of the as of yet unreleased Journey to Un'Goro cards. With that large of a card pool, drawing a card that is one of the new ones would be crazy rare. But Imagine if that was how people could find out about all the cards. Working together in this huge collaborative effort. I think the publicity would be huge, AND fun. O_o
It's funny because I actually won a ton of games as Kazakus especially some wild ones with Beardo and Raza combos!

Hey Krip, I recently started playing Hearthstone and I want to get more into it but do I NEED to spend money on the game to make proper decks and properly play the game?
money or time. your decision. if you log in every day to get and make good quests (replace 40g with 60g quests whenever you can), you get enough cards to craft special cards out of dust after few months.

Pretty cool tavern brawl. Don Han'Cho is a lot of fun. And if he gets crappy cards, he can buff them and make them good. Slight advantage. But yeah, Aya rules.
had mage and warlock card playing quest so was quite happy pulling kazakus :P
Going turn 2 sucks. You lose. But, losing is enjoyable. Defeating a guy with 0 cost hero power is also enjoyable. He flips and flips, somehow you win. Grinding out daily quests felt nice. I came back and played this brawl more than most. It's goofy, and I like that.
I killed it with kazakus my first game this brawl. Had Raza in my opening hand free potions every turn.

Kazakus doesn't run a highlander deck btw. I pulled both Kazakus and Raza and they weren't yellow, not once.

My first time playing this was with Kazakus and I kicked some Mean Street ass!
Had an Aya play 4 Jade Agents against me. And a 5th was generated from one of the agents. #Valuetown
This guy had a huge ally armorsmith and went to 30 with 28 armor
yet I still somehow won in the end because I got a good buff on Wickerflame.
I had 4 patches in my one deck. Turn one, i played a patches and out came 3 patches. instant concede.

Kazakus has not just only one offs. In fact i had 2 copies of a potion in my deck, so i couldn,t play Kaza at turn 5.
I quickly got the impression Aya was the worst of the bunch.
Never seemed to have any early game just windfury fodder, street tricksters, etc. You'd think
she'd have some jade synergy but I never could pull any so the hero
power just remained over costed. Basically all my matches looked like that second one. xD
I really wish they would add Aya to the game as a hero reskin. Sher's probally my favorite Legendary from MSG, and they already have all the voicelines in the game, and Druid really needs an hero reskin so.. Yeah.

8 games in, got Aya once, Han'Cho twice and the rest of the time I got Kazakus.
My match-ups were also all but once against Kazakus.
This is some bullshit.
Also, why the fuck are things like Wrathion and Lady Goya in the Goons deck, pirates in the Kazakus deck and something like Red Mana Wyrm in the Aya deck? Not only do those have no synergy, they also aren't even related to their gangs.
I was wining alot as kazakus, didn't feel disadvantaged at all
i coined a shadow rager into a shadow rager on turns 2 and 3 then spammed jade golems into victory. i wrecked face metaphorically and literally.
I actually destroyed as Kazakus. The potions can be quite strong. A lot of luck of course...
So, I don't mean to be a meanie or anything, but why would the devs put finja in decks that don't have murlocs?
Makingnewnamesisdumb It's all random. In MSOG we did get a couple of Murlocs apart from Finja, so there's a small chance Finja could summon them, or some copies of himself because there's also a possibility of something like that occuring.
The decks are built randomly, and some of the card choices are questionable, like for instance Red Mana Wyrm in Han'Cho's deck or Small-Time Buccaneer in Kazakus's deck.

Makingnewnamesisdumb It must be the case because there are times when you for instance summon Small-Time Buccaneer and like 4 Patches get summoned out of the deck, or you get no Patches at all.
So you can fight someone thing other than Kazakus! Played 5-6 matches all paired against him and no mirror matches. xD

5 Mind control potions with Kazakus, like wtf.
Mulligan in Patches the Fuckboi and the opponent has all the answers to 4 minions every turn.
Draw only 6 mana minions for 3 turn with Han'Cho on the beginning. Also the hero power had a secret fetish for an Ooze...
Got my pack by the enemy getting screwed in mulligan and he conceded. Worth the week wait tbh.
This could of been a really cool brawl if you didn't have a bunch of boring random commons in a deck. I really don't want three Grook Fu masters in my hand.
Lol this tavern brawl wasnt lame. Kripp only likes brawls that he can build decks that destroy the brawl. Definitely not credible when it comes to tavern brawls.
Hellopleesh it felt kinda lame for me most of the time if I was kaz, but the other two were awesome.

This tavern brawl _was_ lame. And I'm the guy who likes Xroad tavern brawl the most, the one that you don't have to build a deck but are given random decks.
The 3 decks seemed way too clunky. No thought whatsoever was put into the deck but a mumbo jumbo of random msog cards clogged together. Randomness is too much for skill to matter in this tavern brawl.
Being able to make your own decks adds replayability (even if it's mostly just fun for people with large collections).
Aya does not seem to run many jade cards in her deck and Kazakus runs Finja with no murlocs and Hancho seems to just own both of them easy

Gentlemen, which one to pick? Malygos or Y'shaarj?
Depends on what you want to play. Malygos is good for spell heavy combo decks, while Y'shaarj just creates a big threat and potentially another threat on the board (and you can use him for something like a Barnes + Y'shaarj combo ofcourse). If you're a competitive player I'd go for malygos, and if not you should think about what type of deck you want to create and then choose which of the two fits that deck the best.

I hit dislike because Kripp lied so hard at the beginning. This is a shit tavern brawl. It only highlights the card quality discrepancy in MSoG. Don Honcho's obvious superiority is just Blizzard trying to push the handbuff mechanic into player's mindset. Unfortunately for them most of us knows that this isn't reality because Aya and Kazakus were given terrible decks and hero powers. Handbuff is also the most versatile mechanic especially with terrible cards. This obvious attempt to indoctrinate us by Blizzard made me reroll my "win 5 tavern brawl" quest right after my first win rather than continue playing this shit brawl.

@Steven Lau I have to admit I'm absolutely livid since I had worst draw luck playing this brawl. I just kept getting unplayable cards while the thought of the obvious indoctrination attempt by Blizzard kept playing over and over in my head. Even so, everything I said is still true. 4 mana to summon a Jade Golem? Who thought that was a good idea? This brawl was so poorly balanced for the sake of pushing more packs on the "hey that's kinda cool; let's make a handbuff deck" crowd.

Yea... wish I got to enjoy the emotes more. I'm no hardcore player either, but I hate really dumb manipulative tactics. That's why this Brawl pushed my buttons so. Btw I'll bet good money that there'll be a Heroic Tavern Brawl to drain player's gold reserves before Un'Goro releases.~
