This album has been with me through SO MUCH. From my first real crush and innocent relationship, to death of the very person who introduced me to Gorillaz (a very very close person), to all of my travels, to the hardest of teenage years, as well as to the best of them, through intense isolation and ecstatic moments. I've listened to it so many times over my lifetime that I need to take very very long brakes from it, but I always come back. I love it eternally. And let me tell you, Don't get lost in heaven and Demon Days together with their awesome transition is like a dream for me. Have fallen asleep listening to that many a times. I wish you all good things during this new year.
Man, I remember when Clint Eastwood first came on MTV and we were mind blown by a band that was cartoons, fast-forward 20 years later.... and now that's just normal.

I remember picking this up in an ASDA shop and listening to it first in the garden with my cousin when I was a kid. Good memories from when the world seemed smaller and easier to understand. As I’ve aged this album has aged with me and I appreciate it in different ways to how I did back then.

I can't believe I've waited until now to experience for the first time this masterpiece. For years I've listened only the most popular ones like "Kids With Guns", "Feel Good Inc." and "DARE". The album as a whole is just amazing, the songs are so different from each other, but they work so well together. They also share most of the textures, and bring the album a likeable "colour palette" that has bluish greens and dry oranges.
@@mgp8993 don't think so. You see, on the Demon Days they collabed with Danger Mouse and it turned out as a brilliant piece of art which was (still is) as fresh and off-the-wall as it was possible to happen in 2005. Later works just can't reach that level and probably won't.
Arguably the best album I've ever heard, honestly.
