Oh yeah it 100% is Alex has talked about it at lest once in an interview. Its a great game lots of fun and can easily be ran with several people just have everyone as a common or one person as a branded or just got crazy with everyone as a branded and up the enemy count and or stats :-)

The base premise of Sacrifice sounds significantly inspired by Berserk. Not a criticism, just an observation and guess
