@@martinjaser2725 I have people arguing about cannon on gaming content even though anything that appears in a game isn't cannon. So i have to be explicit. Although I fully expect someone to mention manoeuvring thrusters as speed 🤷♂️😅
You know at some point you have to look at ds9 and ask, how did the federation at the time with the strongest ship being the generations galaxy class actually take the station?
@@thelegendarysolocard it's a fair point, but at the same time the battle to retake DS9 didn't actually take part at DS9 it was on the edge of rhe Bojaran system. The Dominion fleet couldn't rely on the station for firepower and were expecting reinforcements from the gamma quadrant that didn't come. In the end the fighting was still happening whilst the defiant broke behind enemy lines.
The few Dominion ships left because the Station's weapons were offline and Dukat didn't have a garrison squadron left to defend the station. Otherwise yeah, they could have held it. And, to be honest, knowing the Prophets wouldn't let the fleet pass through the wormhole, the strategic value of DS9 is greatly minimized for the Dominion. And without Dukat leading Cardassia, the Cardassians also have no interest in it as he did for sentimental reasons. Damar didn't see DS9 as an asset.
We just witnessed plot armor in action! The ship (or station) that you are controlling is clearly the one with all the main characters (and thus, plot armor) on it.
"The station stays stationary." - No shit sherlock! 😂❤

The true Enterprise G is a beast. Hopefully star trek can do a defiant - sao paulo swap in the future.
The real E-G is an OG.
Stationary is relative, since space is the thing that is moving😂
We need Riker’s Enterprise Galaxy X class
That could be fun!
