Seeing you place the rolling pins INSIDE the hearth is a reminder of really my only gripe with the game: that the placement of crafting upgrades need a serious change. So many goofy and illogical placements of items in order to make everything work.

And oddly that has happened more than a few times!!
Big up the Glitchy, much better mage work this session! Pretty sure the issue with the shield at the end was because Glitchy grabbeb 4 flametal out of the chest whilst you were mid-crafting so it failed to complete. You won't have lost any materials to that though. You should really plant out some fiddleheads and smokepuffs whilst you have a surplus of them too, the more you can farm the less you need forage.

I wouldn't suggest it for the tougher mobs or if blocking skills are crap, but don't forget that any parried mob is subject to twice the damage and there is a much more satisfying damage sounder. Do a little battle mage action and you'll be super addicted to the dirty deeds Dundr reap.
