I for one am very glad Mr. Luckey is focusing on national security and not petroleum based food substitutes refined from human waste.
Petroleum based food that fights obesity sounds like great idea and fighting global problem..
@@aliasone9827 Yeah, but I think most people would just pay slightly more to eat the real thing if they have the choice.
My guess is it would cause some intestinal discomfort at the very least, if not out right severe diarrhea, bloating, or constipation. A lot of smart people are spending a lot of money trying to find cheap things that aren’t food that they can mix into our food to increase profit margins.
It’s unlikely to be financially viable since it hasn’t already been implemented
Yeah, he went full liz holmes silicon valley there
this guy is absolutely incredible. imagine what he does in another few decades.
could definitely see him continuing the spirit of elon & carrying the torch for the next generation.
This guy is an actual technocrat... Elon is just pretending ☝️
I really like Palmer Lucky. I know a lot of people dislike him because of his political contributions, but that's neither here nor there. He's clearly a smart, passionate, conservative (financially), and genuinely interesting person. I'm also a huge fan of Oculus and VR in general, so Mr. Lucky if you see this - thank you for your enormous contribution to an incredible medium and perhaps the future of computing.
This is hands-down the best interview you guys have done to date (I keep saying that, but really).
This podcast quickens my pulse
I haven't slept and the podcast was 92 hours ago
It gets me SO HARD too bro.
Why would you do that to yourself
Get some SLEEP
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Better than coffee
Palmer Lucky is truly an amazing well rounded thinker and entrepreneur. What an great interview. Thank you!
Thanks, MFM, you now turned me into a Palmer Lucky fan. What a gem of an episode!
I believe this has been one of the best guest you guys have had on he has a very different but captivating outlook on life and I found myself agreeing with him more and more as the show went on definitely made me a follower of is his life’s journey
Definitely
agreed. maybe my favorite guest ever
First time I've heard of Palmer, but he seems super interesting. Definitely going to look more into him.
He is truly inspiring. A likable version of Elon Musk.
Anybody that commits to wearing that shirt outside is chance taker and a billionaire
100%
Facts
What you mean that’s a great shirt
I've noticed some of the migrantos coming in will stare down ppl who stand out. It's like they came from middle school and try to fit in and expect everybody else to conform with them. Until we get them up to speed, it will be dangerous to stand out in the coming years, hence becoming more obvious as to who the millionaires are lol ...peackocking / value signaling 101 ;)
He always wears those type of shirts 👕
Brilliant podcast - Palmer is a great thinker and an amazing entrepreneur...
Brilliant squared.
He absolutely is, but I personally work with ‘Viviana Marisa Coelho’’’ she covers things like investing, insurance, making sure retirement is well funded, going over tax benefits, ways to have a volatility buffer for investment risk. many things like that. Just take a look at her full name on the internet. She is well known so it shouldn't be hard to find her.
Palmer Luckey - your respect for your parents and your grandfather is palpable. Legend
Yes, definitely an all timer episode!
I came across this channel recently and have binged more than 40 episodes. This one was, by far, the best.
6 months later and this is still my favorite episode.
To everyone who has started or is thinking of starting their own business: *Believe in yourself and never give up.* If you can work 8 hours for someone else. You can work 2 hours for yourself.
One of the best podcast I’ve seen, had to come back and finish it.
I've watched a lot of your podcasts and I think this is the best episode! You have Palmer back on!
One of the best interviews/podcasts I've seen, nice!
Love Palmer and I love the maker/tinkerer attitude.
One of the best episodes. What an amazing guy
Props for everything AND for giving the example by flying coach.
Palmer is easily highest iq guest on this podcast so far, fascinating.
Disagree: Balaji Srinivasan.
@@strauss7151 big fan of his but would say they’re tied tbh
@@strauss7151 perhaps but palmer 10x in terms of actions and utilization intellect
I had never heard of this guy, but now I’m a huge fan! What a well rounded dude. I loved hearing his views on so many wide ranging topics.
Just listening to Palmer speak is awesome. Really impressed with him. First time hearing him.

This was AMAZING! The boys crushed it and Palmer had that nerd energy relatability with a pinch of billi pizazz.
Really interesting topics and all around chat. Thanks guys.

Yeah this is the 1st episode that got me into this podcast.
Palmer definitely brought the “no small boy” energy …. Until the very end 😂
All-time episode for sure
Underrated content right here. I involuntarily hit like & subscribe, don't even remember doing so lol

Great talk guys!
What a stud, glad we have Palmer as an American 🇺🇸
Unreal pod!
Palmer should sue them out of oblivion. That NYT is complete trash
Wow this was amazing. Subscribed!
Thank you!
Fantastic episode!
As a veteran, all I can tell you is that Palmer has zero idea if the US has tactical nukes. His security clearance extends on his needs to know within his own job, and he'll get tid bits of interesting info here and there, but zero state secrets on programs out of the scope of his work. I disagree with his position on Tactical nukes, what will the world become with Chernobyl's specked all over the place. How long with the land become unusable after the weapon is deployed? The best deterrence for nukes is MAD, it's worked since WW2. This is just my opinion that nukes are just a zero tolerance weapon, and if we go there it's over anyway.
Inspirational. Thanks guys for what u do. Post production : 35-40 “The dude down the street let u play with his “ what ? I guess u meant it differently. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Awesome episode!
Great interview
Palmer Luckey is awesome! I love his sea stead idea! Ever since I was a kid I always said if I was ever in a position I would build homes on the water, and build a massive Coliseum for cool events. Kind of like Luca in Final Fantasy X. I have some other cool ideas, but Palmer is the man! 😄🌅
1:27:49 makes sense to fly Coach for work but not for Europe trips. He’s still out of touch due to his house, bank accounts etc. but definitely a great guy.
Excellent episode
5:01 into this and I already know I am going to like this. Glad I am not the only one that loathes when people say they aren't doing it for the money.
I did karate 😂.
Great Episode 🔥
top 3 guest of all time (one of the GOATS)
Palmer is the man and so humble loved the episode thank you
this guy is wild. love it, such a odd ball and amazing in his own right.
Love this guy, so inspiring
This is a banger. First time viewer here
Great pod
The episode that’s needed….man, solid influx of thought provoking thought processes….
"We will buy anyone any tool that they need for their personal projects" That is the sickest benefit I have ever heard.
46:50 this is fascinating
Love Lucky setting example!
Crushed it. Great job guys. Palmer is amazing!
Palmer is brilliant
Those VR headsets are getting smaller and smaller and they're 4k now, pretty soon VR will take over console gaming and maybe even the pc too 😯
Fascinating interview. The irony that an anti-establishment kid grows up to build defense tech for the military.
Sammy boy, you've found your man crush! very entertaining.I don't understand why Palmer gets so much heat from some quarters.
His appearance on the 'all-in-podcast' was brilliant, put the record straight.
Unfortunately it's not difficult to see a dystopian future where everyone consumes their own waste through the vision Luckey has on recycling food from sewer waste, yummy yummy in my tummy!
Best guy and best episode ever.
This dude is great. Engaging interview
Palmer is an out of the box thinker. Love him. Where can we read more from him ?
About to go into his rabbit hole 🕳️
pause...
The pricing is genius! I can’t comprehend why someone can be mad about someone making money this way, he’s providing a service, hourly hurts us designers
Banger episode
Palmer is the real life incarnation of no smol boy stuff
When is part 2???
Perhaps you should rename the podcast “My First Billion”
