These guys put so many different styles into their band, that other bands should be ashamed of themselves for lack of creativity. It's one thing to be a great soloist. But it's a complete different entity to incorporate EVERYTHING in modern metal into one band. Ya never know what to expect, and I love that! \m/

Dancing Dead was one of the sickest things I've ever heard. @simfighter68 Actually, the original version of To End The Rapture had a piano intro rather than guitar, but they re-released the record with Syn playing the solo at the beginning.
@MH5tube yeah its on Diamonds in the Rough album, which you couldd only really get from buying the Live in the LBC. i learned about it 2 weeks ago myself and ive heard everysong off that album atleast 50 times

theres a difference in a good solo player who can just molest their guitar whenever they want, and a good guitarist who can play solos with feeling behind them and incorporate theory into their music.

I can recognize almost every song just by the solo's. How unique each solo is with its matching song. Hell yeah!

Syn's solo in Lost It All is pretty damn good too. Definitely in the Top 15 if not better.

"Save Me", is one of the top three best solo's of all time, of any band.
Avenged Sevenfold is one of the few bands where you could show the solos to a random stranger, and they'd be able to tell each solo apart.

personally, i'd say the Seize the Day solo goes on #1, that solo just has soo much feeling and soul to it, AWESOME:)

IM SOOOO GLAD you put Afterlife as number 1. if you wouldn't have then I would have had to dislike this. But now i can like this a billion times!!!!
why do people allways forget the solo from "not ready to die" the sounds goes so deep into my feelings and its at least a very long solo!

I think Second Heartbeat is his best of all time. he played it with awesome style even if it didnt completely fit the song, it did its duty. :)
I love the "Save Me" solo. For me, I think that "Seize the Day," "Save Me," "Afterlife," and "Beast and the Harlot" tie for first.
