We tried everything we could to knock it out of whack: huge, three-step bends, wildly exaggerated string stretching... we even put the guitar into a freezer. It came back perfectly in tune every single time.

LOL, the Les Paul was still relatively in-tune.
Considering that Les Paul did not have the evertune bridge... it held it's tuning pretty well.
nah
I agree
and most important sound so so much better than the LTD
Both are great guitars. LP for blues and classic rock. Ltd for metal and hard rock. Both guitars serve their purpose well once set up properly.
An LTD 1000 stands up to a Gibson Les Paul thats worth $2500 quality wise´.. ESP Standard series stands up to Custom (if not even better still. Also goes for the 1000 series on the $2500 Gibbys) Gibson really have taken a huge dive..
Everyone saying that there's no difference between tuning after abuse are deaf. Gibson won't go out of tune that much since the tuners aren't shit like 200€ guitars tuners, but you should still hear the Gibson to go out of tune. It is noticeable. The Evertune bridge held the tuning even after that mindless abuse.
Ok. I'm sure temperature doesn't effect Gibsons either lol
I just think that, those people have a dead ears.
this is one of the most interesting invention for the guitar,i asume in the future they will work out how to make what floyd rose with his whammy bar did:mount that enginering piece of art without routing the guitar, otherwise, incredible! !!
LTD EC 1000 is not crap. A metal that worth much more than the price tag suggests.
It really did, should notice if you're used to the pure note or setting up guitars.
I luv how this guy talks
I have this exact guitar and LOVE IT.... I got it out of the box in tune but the setup was wrong, had tweak the bridge, it works so well when I did bends the sound kept in tune. Major problem when playing however found out that was because the bridge was not setup correct when tuning, minor adjustments using instruction booklet provided and haven't tuned it since 2 years later. Tell me how many Les Paul's stay in tune that long after a lot of playing.
I highly recommend this guitar and for that matter the Evertune bridge, can't wait to see the one they are working on now, an ET bridge with a tremlo, this ought to be interesting.
Is the D'Addrrio color code in the UK Different from that in the US? when they showed the underside of the guitar, the colors were Black, silver, red, green, purple, gold from low to high. But when I see them the code is gold, red, black, green, purple, silver. This confuses me greatly.
A shame we don't have the option of the neck being made as the BB with the inlay on it
Mine comes with double binding and it’s so thick.
whose lighter, this guitar, Gibson Les Paul, Dean Thoroughbred, Schecter Solo-II, Jackson Monarkh?
what happens if you drop tune?
How is the restring process?
Easy as usual like other esp guitars without Floyd Rose?
it's so easy I have one
don't forget, with this bridge you can have perfect intonation as long as you have a good neck to start with. atleast that's what they say.
Just to clarify... YES, there are two ESP LTD guitars with this system factory installed. This one the EC-1000 and the MH-1000. I want one, but these guitars are hard to find. Sell out fast!
So the new 2021 EC1000 BB, is this exact guitar but with an ebony fretboard? Lol
Some of you guys need to listen harder, the LP does cope better than I expected, but the LP is much too far out of tune for recording after the test, whereas the Evertune is perfect. For someone who is happy with old-school sloppy-tuning typical of most one-guitar live gigs, the LP sounds fine. This gadget is not for those people.
btw it has an added use where you can set it up to prevent bends and give unmatchable rhythm guitar tuning
Looks great! I'm impatient to leave my tuner inside its box.
Anyone know how heavy/light this guitar is i'm thinking of getting one but the guitar i have now (epiphone sg special) is very light and i'm i'm not sure if the increase in weight will be ideal for me
it's pretty heavy not gonna lie
+Rayne yep!
It comes with the guitar.
Going out of tune gives you experience :P
Oh so you want your guitar to go out so you can learn .... I see , ggggg
I heard the difference. That Les Paul fell out of tune. Not surprising as I've owned a Les Paul slash goldtop since 2009 and experience repeated tuning issues.
I've played one of these quite a lot and I own several Les Pauls and there is no comparison. Crap was probably a bit strong but I didn't like the neck and it felt tacky to me. I was simply saying the considering the Les Paul doesn't have that tuning system, it held it's tuning pretty well after all of those big string bend.
The evertune, clever clever bit. Although your LP without it keep its intonation quite well too after all that abuse :D
=-O
Wow!
Les Paul actually did OK ... Mine would not have faired off so well ..... lol
that is impressive.
Yeah... the LP didn't exactly sound out of tune though did it?.
The LP started out of tune
leave that les paul alone
Too bad the evertune bridge looks fugly. And there's no way in hell i'm going to gouge out a massive cavity in the back of my GIbson V to fit one.
Played this exact guitar, most lifeless guitar in a long time. Kinda want an ltd TE, but now kinda leaning towards jim root and charvel.
why would someone ever hold a guitar by the strings like that!?
My soul was crying out for those axes when he did that 😅
Those bridges are not that big of a miracle. I found it to be more of a pain in the ass than functional. After about 3 weeks I sold it and bought one without it. Its a fucking pain in the ass to setup, bending was awkward, and it just didn't benefit me enough to keep the guitar. Just buy a good fixed bridge ec1000. As of right now I'd recommend the ec1000 ctm or the E-II eclipse if you've got the money. You can get either with active or passive pickups and they both play and feel great.
Not really... It became pretty flat after the bends.
I'm not sure why anyone is commenting on the difference between a £650 guitar with EMGs (plus added Evertune) and a Gibson LP, what has that got to do with this?
Дикий нестроевич
well the A string wasnt in tune...
Well opinions are a bit like arseholes...everyone has one! All I'm basing my opinion on is my experience. Having worked in a guitar shop for several years, all I can say is that I don't like ESP guitars, although you're right in saying that Gibson are not what they used to be.
Slightly
i would carve my LP, it's a 1980 that cost $730 new, there nothing classic about it
The c string is not toned
The string he kept the guitar with was a bit flat, but the bendings didn't really do much haha
that last chord on the gibby just sounded infinite times better than the LTD any day..
The first test it's not in tune. So it's not a fair comparison -.-
Oopsie :D Fail with trying to get that LP out of tune ;)
lol aluminium. brits..
In fairness, that Les Paul, which by the way, is way nicer than the LTD crap, stayed pretty well in tune after all them string bends and it doesn't have the tuning system on it!
The Les Paul handled it better than I bet most people expected it too.
I have a Japanese LP copy very well made instrument with standard Gibson specs, out can survive this abuse. I tune it once every two weeks and play it every day. Gibson's just don't tune well.
the les paul kept its tune haha.
Was zur Hölle soll das???
Heard no fucking difference \(.__.)/
Me too
No it didn't, review FAIL
