Agreed - so bizarre Ikea have stopped pushing them out, I had my eye on one for ages and then BOOM they just disappeared! Yours looks awesome, I'll definitely have to go on a scavenger hunt and track one down at some point! Would love to see maybe a favourite plants / plants you're struggling with video? I always love those kind of vids 💚
they sell acryllic pegboards online. i got two replacement pegboards because, with orchids, those skadis boards WILL degraade. i highly recommend just buying an acryllic skadis off of etsy instead of buying the original
Love your videos! So upbeat! Looking for a small fan for my small aquarium greenhouse. I'll check out your links. BTW, how about a Thai Constellation update. My dream plant. Someday!
I like your cabinet. It looks great. The metal shelves are cool too! Please let us know if it starts to rust. Also, couldn't people just seal the pegboards? They use sealers on wood fences and porches outdoors. Just a thought. 🤷♀️ I don't think humidifiers are always necessary either. I wonder if just a jar of water would work if necessary since the water would slowly evaporate; same with a fountain. On the plus side, fountains could probably be put on timers since they don't come with manual on/off switches usually. You plug it in and it's on. FYI. Thrips are evil. 🤣
Thanks! I'll defo let you all know how the shelves go. I suppose people could seal the peg boards. I've not thought about it too much and luckily not had many issues, just 3 tiny spots of expanding. A cup of water could totally work if you needed to boost. Especially if you had grow lights that were warm, it would just evaporate the water. But tbh I still don't think they're necessary for my setup. The humidity stays pretty hight naturally.
I'm guessing you have to use a fan that needs to be plugged in? I had one that was USB chargeable and it wouldn't turn back on with the timer (but it still worked, just wouldn't turn on and needed charging).
Yeah these fans are wired (fed through the opening of the door) but they are USB so they just go in the USB socket in the smart power strip which is handy. And they have that mechanical on switch so they turn on automatically which is the best! Less to worry about :)
Hey how are you doing? Iv on the missing finding some poor tropical plants that supermarkets never look after them and some are almost dead whivh are like 10p for a dead plant so I bought two half dead plants to revive them I put them in bonsai pots and they are doing so well with new branches coming and now they going to become bonsais
@@GoodGrowing thanks yh also some of these plants do not like alot of water often like aloe vera what the staff do they plunge water constantly like everyday and these plants don't like it but also they don't even water them leaving them to die

I’m pretty sure it’s probably supply chain issues - a lot of IKEA stuff is hard to find.

Ooh what a noble mission! Amazing that you were able to revive them so well!

Cool hair. Good hair day for you. 😊 😁
I love those shelves, shipping is too costly though. Maybe if someone does a group order
Yeah I could imagine shipping being quite high if you're not in UK/EU but get a group together :)
@@GoodGrowing I'm in the UK actually, for some reason shipping was coming up as £30 but it seems to be fixed now.
@@earisu Oh how weird! Glad it's sorted now :)
