Welcome back Jerry and Teresa. Jerry don’t feel too bad about going down in the ice, I did it here a few days ago. #Pro Tip, get water softener salt at the orange or blue store and save about 2/3’rds of the cost over de iced.
I feel like I have gone a half a round with Tyson.. Body is beat up by this ice. Great tip on the ice formula. Thanks Wayne
OMG the ice falling scared me to death!!! I didn't realize you got so much ice. A quick tipto help in a pinch... Last year, John bought stretch film and wrapped the bottom of the rig, using the levelers as supports for the wrap. It made a huge difference in keeping the wind from under the rig. Glad it is finally starting to melt.
Yes is scared us big time.. and when we rewatched it and saw the dogs reaction we had to laugh a little.. they were gone!! That is a great idea about the plastic wrap.. next winter we will try it.. or go to Florida. Thanks Belinda!

Hi y'all so good to see you back . We are stationary in Ohio for our first winter in 4 years and I have only one thing to add to you list and that would be skirt your RV . George went to lowes and got insulation board they use on houses and put it all around our RV and on some of our windows inside and wow did it really help , we are now going through a 30 lbs propane tank every 4 days instead of everyday . Take care .

Great info. I don't plan on camping in the snow and ice. Currently in Quartzsite and it is cloudy and rainy and 57 degrees.

Just a thought, if your sitting stationary for the winter, would it be an option to get a big propane tank, and use the 30 or 40 LB tanks as back up ?
Would it be advisable to just take your stinky slinky and stow it somewhere thats above freezing. Then get it out when ya need it.
