These crooks are shady. Be leary of nighttime deliveries, they normally do it to hide damages. Glad it worked out for you this time but be careful. Make sure it's always a daytime scheduled delivery.

These are just life lessons bro, next time you know before anything happens: get a direct line with the person who is going to be actually picking up the car and if you cant clearly communicate with them from the start on to the next transporter... many of them, sure it may cause a delay by a day or two but I rather lose a day than to deal with that whole experience you just went through 😮💨

Why you don’t use your own trailer to transport the cars
Have a herniated disc in my lower back. Can’t travel far, and wouldn’t be worth going to Wyoming and back. Better to have a one way transport.
Never use a shipping company that has to climb on your door through the windows. Normally they have side doors on the trailer

I’ve transported my car to another state in the past a couple times. I’ve always paid the drivers on delivery.
They were supposed to be paid via a escrow with my broker like all our other deals

It’s 2600 miles roundtrip. At a average of 10MPG & $5.50 for diesel that’s $1400+ just in fuel. A buddy won’t do it for free lol

I couldn't see schitt. Anyway, you probably already know you have to do this now, but you always have to vet these companies before you employ them. If the broker you're using can't do that and guarantee it, then don't use the loser.

I would NEVER spend 50k+ on a car and not pick it up myself, hell even if it was a 10-20k car id pick it up myself WITHOUT A DOUBT.

I have cars Transported all the time and I know dispatch usually try not to give the drivers phone number, especially due to overly anxious customers. I think it was a miscommunication especially since the driver's party didn't speak good English. He took the car out of the trailer cause you were asking for pictures, I did see when the guy told you he lost his credit card in the beginning first txt messages and no one tried stealing you're car bro. Maybe it was that the driver's ppl told him cash on delivery or maybe on his part there was some miscommunication. I think the title of your video is a misleading click beat.
