- Mad World is a 1982 single of Tears For Fears and a part of their album, 'The Hunting' released on 1983. It reached number 3 on the UK Single Charts. Various singers covered the song but notably known was from Gary Jules and Michael Andrews for the film 'Donnie Darko'. This version was a UK number one hit and won Orzabal his second Ivor Novello Award in 2003. This good song is never forgotten by these 'Voice Talents' to be their masterpiece on their performance. How did the girl in China not get a four chair turn she is amazing if that was the UK she would have had all the judges turn in seconds
it took the judges a while to grasp what they were hearing, she is unique, very good vocal control.
The others are all good, Chinese girl was in a class of her own.
I live in China, the reason why the 4th didn’t turn around is because she was was the only judge who can’t speak English… so she didn’t understand just how good the singer was!
They seem to be a bit slow on the uptake. She has a wonderfully unique voice.
