I noticed A LOT of youtubers downplaying the bad patches, the lack of upgrades, the incredibly lackluster expansions.
It's incredible how they glaze. It's like they are all trying to be the cool dayZ youtuber and get invited to the next camp in 15 years.

I played on the same "official" server with Kamy, it was so cursed, people just fistfighting and some random person would show up with a gun and shoot the town up sometimes.

DayzDevs: We were made aware that camping water fountains has become too difficult, so we decided to aid the fountain campers by reducing how wide the fov or a player is when using the fountain.
But why is it when u become aware of scrub players, you punish the rest of us? Such as dupers and white wallers. Jumping off things for example, it’s like hitting an object when u jump, getting stuck on walls like a magnet! And then the count down when using an alt, and the count down gets longer the more accounts you load in! Wiping out characters and bases! Just sort the problems instead of taking away our mechanics, unathletic game this now 😂

like on every other game , if they manage to kick off all the cheaters ( what they can do very easily by obligating every player to allow a process scan before each play / random scans during the play ) , they will anihilate A SO BIG PART OF THEIR PLAYERS than the game will lost easy 40% of his "hard" players , by hard i mean those who spend a lot of time on it.
Almost a "Sue hi side"see how the stats will fall , so i think it's why they do almost nothing against cheat...
Even if it's a real scourge for us all who want to play normal and fair , glad we have private community servers who do a great job on cheater hunting ... ^^'

Most of these devs in the industry have an ego problem. They believe they and only they know what's best. I believe this is due to many of them failing to develop fully socially and be able to take advice as well as criticism. Most devs grew up, no offense, nerds, geeks, an outsiders. And many, don't take being criticized well.

No there isn't. Buried stashes despawn after 14 days. So if I don't go to it for a few days, take a week off from playing, and don't go right back to it, it's gone. Other stashes always get found and bases are way to time consuming to build and easy to raid. Literally the only loot that is truly safe is on you when you log. Now you get less of it for no reason other than the devs wanted it to be so.
@@jimdandy8119 if you are not able to log in to interact with your stash during 14 days, do you really need a stash? i can't see someone accumulating so much stuff they need a stash if they wont log in to the game in 2 weeks. also if you chop down a tree and bury your stuff where it used to stand, it will be hidden after next server restart when the tree is back up :) noone finding that shit in middle of the forest
You are a real one. Hate how Wobo always sucks DevsDicks every update. 80% of all the updates have been some kind of weapon stat changing. It's literally chainging 1 number in der code of the game and ruining everyones experience who got used to the game. Same mistakes as h1z1. Tbh Bohemia is just milking a dead cow at this point
Nah DayZ is still original asf it just needs a couple good updates but the devs definitely aren’t bringing the heat. Although the duping fix sounds nice would love to see them follow through for the console community

But this one is particular on the deception , some things are cool , like new little animals , new temperature system for food etc , but theses nerfs on inventory , capacity of clothes , etc ... meh , not really the most needed thing , anti cheat stuff was more important for me than downsize the inventory or made unable players to feed otherwise than in front of the other players who wanted to feed.
But as i said on another comment , if they manage to kick off every cheater , the number of current players will melt like ice under the sun , and the stats will turn very bad , see a LOT of long time playing / players who do long plays are cheaters .. sadly.
I'm sure it's around of 40% of players who use even one cheat. imagine losing 40% of your actual players .. impossible for them , so i think it's why the are so lazy on the cheater hunt.

My thoughts on the inventory reduction. They can’t fix duping so to reduce the amount dupped items they reduced your inventory! Just my two cents! It’s all i can afford these dayz!
True, I think it is partially to match the console versions inventory sizes for comparability reasons with updates but honestly I wouldn’t doubt that is the main motivation for it. Bohemia would def do that 💀
@@SSS333-AAAconsole inventory sizes are the same, it's just that items don't have a grid in which they are, but they have an assigned size number
So if backpack has 18 slots and i want to fill it with a 3x4 item and a 2x3
You can do that on console too but the first item will be 12 (3x4=12) and the second one 6 (2x3=6)

An I’m not even trying to talk trash. Just think about it. You spawn in kill a chicken find a sharp tool get the bones for another knife or hook an then go fishing an boom your apple is full white. An there’s tons of fruit an mushroom spawns along the way too. Wolves are just meat delivery systems of you got a decent gun. I’m constantly finding myself stuffing my face. It’s a gd thing our characters can’t get fat cuz I’d be a chunky boy 😆🤷🏽♂️

They are constantly taking away quality of life stuff, like being able to use items in a container or making the inventory slightly smaller. This is one of the reasons I stopped playing Dayz. Things like inertia and stuff just makes the game that much less accessible. I understand the desire to make the game difficult, but I feel like there's a reason the pop is low and after 5k hours I've stopped playing. I could probably go back at every patch over the last year and find something that made me upset. I love the game but it seems like the devs have a different idea for the game than the fans.
I have about the same hours and I feel the complete opposite.

If they make finding food harder they should add more cooking options, this coould also help with force feeding people by creating a dish that has human meat as an ingredient
People defend at least they update it but they promised 10 years of content. Still not fixing broken crap. Or giving stuff the people what they want. 3 maps in over 10 years ? It's a good thing regular modders fix what they can't deliver because they refuse to.

I agree with everything you said except the food. Food is definitely to easily available an needed some type of change. It doesn’t take long to get a full apple even when your on the coast. An with the addition of bone knives it’s even easier to get fed. I think they should reduce the amount of mushrooms that spawn as well.
food is going to be even more readily available now with the fishing changes, just gonna require a little bit of effort to go through the animations. Wood hooks mean your not hauling around bones or hooks anymore, and the new lure doesnt even take bait.

Unless its also changed in the update, use a bloodbag IV on somebody from behind. Feed while unconscious. If they know the game well they'll know what you did but some might just question why they went uncon.

I found the broken melee combo while playing community in the server that video is from. The devs need to patch it, beyond broken. It turns your light hits from a melee into a heavy without using the stamina. Praise the 6,2 ❤
How does it work?

i feel like a old game that has been played for 10+ years should be considered perfect and not be changed
Game was so good pre engine change it even had more content if they just worked out the bugs it would be golden and would never need updated it's slowly just leaning more and more into pvp because of the new generation of players with brain rot they need to go back to the roots and focus on survival updates instead of worrying about what fucking guns are balanced they aren't balanced in real life they shouldn't be in dayz
Maybe it's partially because I always preferred the Arma 2 mod that I feel this way but the survivalist aspects of dayz were never as fun as the player interactions and different loot and buildings based on maps.
So it feels like the more they push the survivalist mechanics the more you have to spend time doing the menial arbitrary stuff that has to be done, the less time you spend exploring and it takes time away that you could be spending actually enjoying exploring and experiencing different situations with different players.
And it can be argued that this could push players to rely on other players more but we all know that isn't how it will play out. It'll just push players to more KOS deathmatches with less interaction is that the players fault just as much as the devs, yeah but making it worse doesn't help.
