Let Down is such a beautiful and simple song, so the acoustic really suits it so well. Chester seem very emotionally connected to the song in a .. I guess more subdued way? Such a joy to see this performance!
There are stripped-down versions of LP's "Crawling" and "Sharp Edges" on their RUclips channel that were featured on One More Light Live. They also gave "Pushing Me Away" the stripped-down treatment, too. ruclips.net/video/reLYKavdiRo/видео.html
If you search for it theres a shit ton of acoustic live versions of LP tracks. Also idk if youve seen it yet but they did a piano version of Crawling on their 2017 tour which is pretty dope
Either version hits me in the feels. What a beautiful song and voice. My favorite LP song piano version( Mike on piano, Chester vocals ) is”Pushing Me Away” ruclips.net/video/Y_D_AYhqnc0/видео.html. Gives the song a totally different feel and meaning. Also “Heavy” piano version ruclips.net/video/iuRS102_Fnw/видео.html is unbelievable. I would say “Crawling” but it’s really hard to listen to, still. Great reaction.
this version is actually the original version played back in 2005. They also did a demo of the studio version but didnt finish it until 2009 when the album Out of Ashes came out. you shoul also check out the accoutic version of the song "Morning After" or the normal version if you havent yet.
there is a great acoustic version of CRAWLING, they did it on their last tour in 2017. Check out Linkin Park - Crawling ( One More Light Live acoustic) * and this is emotional * also check out their acoustic version of Pushing Me Away from Summer Sonic 2006 show... and about this video you choose the version that i hoped you'll watch. You never disappoint :D
They did Crawling acoustically on their One More Light tour. They had a Facebook live session in 2017 and they sang Crawling, BURN IT DOWN, and Heavy acoustically (with Kiiara who is a featureless singer on Heavy). MTM era they did Pushing Me Away acoustic, and on Mike's Post Traumatic tours he played In The End acoustic. During their LIVING THINGS tours they did a mashup medley of Leave Out All The Rest, that went into Shadow Of The Day, and then finished with Iridescent. Highly recommend!
Linkin Park - rolling in the deep(cover), Final Masquerade(acoustic ruclips.net/video/hmqsKtYBuuM/видео.html), Pushing Me Away, my december. Mike Shinoda - Kenji(Rock en Seine 2018), fine, promises i can't keep.
This performance was from 2005 so pre-dead by sunrise. Chester wrote this song on an acoustic guitar to begin with and that's why it sounds really good acoustically. He wrote this while he was going through the divorce with his first wife. In fact he wrote several of the songs that dead by sunrise put on their album. When he wrote this song he knew it wasn't a Linkin Park song and eventually he asked Ryan Shuck and Amir Derakh to help him make a "solo" album (non Linkin Park album) with his songs.
Have you ever watched the Crawling live video with only Chester and Mike on piano it is one of my favorite videos to date because Crawling is a forever favorite.
Chester/Linkin Park also does a cover of Adele's "Rolling in the Deep" that is absolutely brilliant.

Something about Chester live is so good you get his emotion and there's nothing like it.
It was written acoustically originally before it was recorded, might be why it works so well.
