- The new Peacock movie "Shooting Stars" tells the story of how LeBron James and his childhood friends - Dru Joyce III, Willie McGee, Sian Cotton and Romeo Travis - became the best high school team in the country. Dru, Willie, Sian and Romeo joined Access Hollywood's Kit Hoover to chat about the film and their decades-long bond with LeBron. Plus, as retirement rumors continue to swirl around the NBA star, his pals shared their thoughts on when he could hang up his jersey. "In my opinion, I don't think he's retiring this year," Romeo said. Sian chimed in, "I hope not, but I think it is really on his mind, and I think he's really doing some soul-searching. … I think he is thinking about it." "Shooting Stars" hits Peacock on June 2.

Scottie and Michael were never besties. Ever. They were teammates. MJ didn’t/doesn’t have many friends. Charles Barkley is the only real close friend I’ve ever seen him acknowledge and they fell out. Great player but everyone knows MJ was a 🍆. So is Scottie for that matter lol

LeBron is my favorite baller!! You can't deny his success is keeping his village. People who love and support you from the beginning to now! He's such a role model! You can't lose with day ones. I watched the retold story of these then young boys’ to the growth, integrity, perseverance, determination, courage, and overall love for one another as they went on to become young men. I also went as far as leaving a review on the internet. I can watch repeatedly. 👍🏾

My mom went to church with Coach Dru, Dru Joyce 3 (little Dru), and Sian Cotton, She even was one of the Sunday School teachers for Dru Joyce the 3rd and Sian in 1988-1989 when they were 4-5 years old.
Such a great group of guys.

I was the age of 7 in 03 so i remember the Fab Four brief but of course me being from Ohio number 1 sport was football but this team made basketball a respectable sport in the state the brotherhood chemistry that team has was important for the movie at it’s core and they got it right they casted everyone perfectly i really liked who played savanna and Gloria in this tho
Maurice clarett was the talk of the town in Ohio in football but lebron and his teammates made sure they were and the rest is history

my mom and her family (my family through my mom) all went to the same church Coach Dru, his son Dru Joyce the 3rd, and Sian Cotton (and some of Sians family) went to in the 80s and the 90s, my mom doesn't know or even met Lebron or his family, but some of my relatives/my moms relatives met/know Lebron and his family.
In the 90s ( it's the early 1990s, mid 1990s at the latest.), was the last of the times my mom saw coach dru, sian, and little dru (dru joyce the 3rd.) in Church.
Love this movie very inspirational.
