The watch appears to always have NFC turned on with no indicator. There are not two different models, just one with NFC. We expect to see this implementation appearing on many more if not all future watches. It will be standard on the internal chip set. This is just the first one. To turn on the flip to see time, tap the Motion icon and select it.

If you mean how the apps appear in the "app drawer" (the pages where you scroll through them), then you can set that with something in settings called "Style" or "Layout" or something else to be one at a time, four in a square, or several in a ring. The SMA R Dual Smartwatch is a typical tethering watch. Nothing special. I've reviewed a couple like it already.

Some of these 3rd party watch faces are large in memory and actually won't fit unless they are the only one you install. You can try uninstalling the others ad put these problem watch faces in first.

I simply don't have enough time or arms to wear them all under all the various conditions over several days each to accumulate reliable data to report. That's why I'm asking real users like you to share their findings with us for the watch they have chosen to buy. I've also asked that they be reported in the comments on one specific video, the one on battery life here: ruclips.net/video/RmK9eoNbFag/видео.html AS to your other requests, I'll see what I can do. I've noticed another reviewer has one of those digital devices to measure watch thickness and screen diameter. You may want to ask him to include the measurements you are looking for in his reviews. As you mentioned, mine are rather long already. Regarding the lift arm to read time feature, it's a bit different in all the watches, and not even available in some. In most of the reviews I show where the toggle icon is located to turn it on and off. For some watches it turns on when the watch face is pointing up and off when not, no matter what the watch is doing. That's the worst implementation. On some you get a digital time display but not the watch face you have chosen unless you touch the screen during the 2 seconds it is visible. I demo that often in the Android 5.1 class watches that feature it. In the best style the display lights to reveal the watch face you want to see and then turns off after a couple of seconds. This happens for Android watches of the FINOW/No.1 variety.

I sent a message to the company - in FB - and they said it should last for more than a day if I am interested only about notification via BT only. But many thanks for your great work on reviews, and I surely do envy you since you receive so many free watches :-) For the moment I personally dont find the need for a full fledged android os in phone since I find it rather difficult to use maps etc. Although kw88 is really large but still when I am walking and lost in european roads I prefer to take out my mobile. For me - for the moment - notification is most important, and also what is important is I should not have to press buttons to see the time. Battery is still an issue (No 1 D7 seem to have 500mah but still if you want to use all the apps like phone then...) - the magnetic chargers are sometimes are also not good and fall off. So still on a sunny outdoor or on a worthy occasion I have to go for my citizen ecodrive - and I did not find a better replacement (it better than battery and better than my self-winding watches). I just hook up a mifare door access controller and extract the tag number of my Samsung J3 Pro. After enrol the card number of the phone NFC, I test and it work. I believe the Smart Watch work as well. My K88H do not have NFC and that limit me. I didnt know smart watch have NFC. Thank for the video.
I purchased one of the smart watches you recommend and I couldn't change the clock out of military time, the touch screen never worked wee, and the date would always reset to back to default date. All these watches suck!
Yes, some are stuck on military time. Really sucks. One of my favorite, the SMA-TIME with the transflective screen is that way. I'm still learning 1500 is 3PM. Oh, and the reset can happen if your watch isn't tethered to your phone. There's usually a way you can stop that and set time manually, but it doesn't always keep 'good' time when you do that. In other words, it drifts over time.
When the call comes through, answer on your phone and press the speaker button to go into speakerphone mode or touch the Bluetooth button to turn off the Bluetooth routing to your watch and hear normally through your phone.
Rax Hax Yep. This one seems pretty poor use of NFC. But watch (no pun intended) as the other manufacturers suddenly realised how contactless payments could be done without pulling your phone out.... I never got into my bank's NFC payments because I found it just as easy to get my wallet out as it was to get my phone out. But a watch is already out.... and attached very close to where you would hold your card/phone anyway.
Did you guys see that little video on the NFC ring that fuzzier g posted? Worth a watch for a good laugh and a wakeup as to what could EASILY be done with a watch as well. Good question. I'm not sure which would be best for you. Take a look at the features of both. Which will you use more? Do you need NFC Business Card exchange? They are both good watches.

This is a first start. Next it looks like smart lock technology will appear in an upcoming Android based No.1 watch. A prototype of that watch is due in for review soon (but the NFC part may take a few refinements before it is fully functional).
