Thank you for sharing this, I start my last session of tennis for the season and I've been slacking. I have five days until my first practice and we run about atleast a mile everyday.
Bro that makes sense because when i was directly jumping on to thread mill running fast. The areas u told was started paining. Which made me think that parts Must be strong up. Thank you very much.
Where is the description you promised for the leg swing detailing the cause for swinging from the hip rather than the spine? i searched your channel for a video describing it but couldn't find. Please help.
Terrific warm up!! Got me running in an instant and saved me from my long ass warming up routine! Do u have an efficient cool down as fast as this doc?
Does it make a difference if I warmup for sprints (60-200m testified) or more endurance running? I remember back in school, I "warmed up" by doing quads-stretches and a bit of light running, but couldn't managed a proper sprint in 2002-2005, since either my glutes or hamstrings always cramped, which obviosly ruined my times and marks. You probably have to consider that back then - in ~2003-2007 - I had ludicrous high power-endurance and "pure" cardiovascular endurance (mixed endurance; being 1,78m and ~72kg with particulary strong leg-muscles; in 2-2012 I measured my mixed endurance on a semi-professional bike-ergometer (gym) over 1h at 6,4Watt per kg including the weight for a race-bike and my sport-clothes (~515watt at 80kg) - though I was completely exhausted after that 1h - and yes, that is/was competive at international level :D ) I've done a LOT of bicycling and a bit of jogging since I was 9 up until ~2007 (1991-2007)
thankyou very much, will this increase the speed too, cause i can run for 2 hrs at a stretch at a speed of 6 mins per km, my best is 28 km in 2 hrs 51 mins, but been struggling a bit now a days with my speed due to constant breaks, my target is completing the full marathon, any suggestions?
Make sure you're running about 90 mins or more after you eat! And when you feel the stitches coming, don't be afraid to slow down a lot until they go away.
is a great vid, but for beginners or people with poor core and leg stabilization the only one I will suggest from this video is the leg front swing but has to be slow and rhythmic and the same for the shoulders swing. the skippers are almost power exercises and will not recommend them for beginners or poor core and leg stabilization, specially the lunch can cause an ACL injury because of poor deceleration and stabilization of the knee. the exercises are great but I will use them for the middle of the work out rather than a warm up and the individual have to be very active and fit as Dr Ryan is to performed this exercises. Stay Fit=Train Safe
Focus on striking the ground with the ball of your foot, with your knees slightly bent. Try and lean forward a very little bit to help keep your weight over your toes and not your heels
Personally i think it's best to run after. If you run first all your muscles will be much weaker which in turn will hinder for and overall performance.
Please make video about shin pain I am running 5 km everyday for police ricrutmement so please give some tips that I complete 5km running in 20 minutes
I've got long hair and I'm wearing bandanas in different ways on my had and most of the people that see me on the street, at school or when I'm in the store even the workers from the store and even the builders are laughing at me (I'm not saying it's a bad thing to be a builder but at least I have bigger aspirations) and I don't give a fuck on what they say. So try and do the same.
Dr,Ryan Debell, thanks for sharing your magical movements for improving running skills.

Make sure you're running about 90 mins or more after you eat! And when you feel the stitches coming, don't be afraid to slow down a lot until they go away.
^ don't do that
Make sure you get stitches pulled out before running. Other wise you’ll be all cantering and shit.
very nice bro
Thank you

Hi, I am 50 years old. I love jogging. Now my question is how long should I jog a day?

You should see him with his boyfriend!
hi ryan,
nice tips for the exercises.
while im running 5km or 10km, my legs are pounding the ground...can u tell me how to avoid it.
Focus on striking the ground with the ball of your foot, with your knees slightly bent. Try and lean forward a very little bit to help keep your weight over your toes and not your heels
Pace up bro get your cadence up.
Thanks for making me rewind the video to catch up lol great tips though

Give solution of knee pain due to running, please
Improve your form
Smruti Mohanty get the right shoes. That’s how I fixed mine. Shoes I was using were causing me to inwards pronate my foot because I have a wide foot.
Run again the next day
Run again the next day
What are the foods eat and exercise do for marathon
I am not a marathon runner, I cannot suggest a diet!
Yogurt and shit load of curry, spicy pungent stuff.
its nice
Is it good to do gym after running?
A combination of strength training and running is great
Personally i think it's best to run after. If you run first all your muscles will be much weaker which in turn will hinder for and overall performance.
Nope, do it together. Run with weights high above your head.
Running after what exercises I do
When I jog or run, I feel lower back hurts for a day. Will this warm up good for that?
A P Fix your posture maybe?
There are tons of videos of RUclips that show you how to do that.
You`re probably leaning too much
your my trainer bro
And you are my spirit Vishnu 🤣
You mentioned not extending the trunk during the hip stretch (lunge, second exerrcise). Why not? Don't you feel it more if you do?
Same benefit by putting ankle behind your head. Try that and send picture 😀.
Please make video about shin pain I am running 5 km everyday for police ricrutmement so please give some tips that I complete 5km running in 20 minutes
Make dot bigger, bend over and kiss mother cow, then kick father bull in the nuts, run like hell before father bull catches up!
I would be to embarrassed to do that shuffle in public
no The shuffle into the skip looks like he's dancing, LOL. Just add music.
pussy
nah fam, if you do it right, you might look like a pro

Look in the mirror, way too late for public embarrassment at this point.
I would like to have been able to follow along and do the warm up with the video.
