I love George so much. Watches can be dry and boring after so long but he always brings the passion and energy with new logic and ideologies. I could listen to him ramble for hours about his experiences because he still finds ways to connect to all tiers of watch collectors, no matter what the budger. Cheers to George!
I appreciate George's modesty! He always comes to the table with some wonderful stuff. Would love to open the safe but understand George's reluctance. He always brings an interesting perspective. Adrian collects what he likes (very honest)- that's all that matters!
Good convos. And great job paring down the selections. Andrew’s ‘… you need to help yourself’ blast was awesome. The live show will be huge. You need to do 1 in LA.
The “carrier pigeon” comment from Andrew cracked me up.😆You guys should do a live Zoom session sometimes. I am sure a lot of people would show up, me included. Keep up the good work. Cheers
did the survey once earlier after listening to your podcast and redone it again just now. and thanks for the session as always you guys are awesome. enjoy the meet up next week and sending my love all the way from Bangkok!
BTW, love the debate/arguments. Please dont go soft on us and keep this going. This is very entertaining even if it might not be comfortable for you guys!!! Love the show ❤
GB to took the heat like a champ, Andrew took the win like a champ, Adrian has now also fully embraced the capt. boring hat. End of the day we're just here to talk watches and you boys have the cracking chat. Up the show
Done with the survey. GB got a load of flack for the collection he presented, because he seemed to be pulling his punches. He could have gone all out and easily nuked the competition, but where is the fun in that. Adrian had the collection that anyone can appreciate. Andrew had the most interesting watch collecting philosophy.
Thank you Andrew for holding GB to account. GB, I understand but I hope you understand why we the viewer was disappointed. All the best for the live show!
Hey guys, I know it’s usually the 3 of you on camera, but when the 4 of you came on the split screen, I thought it was kind of odd that the AET logo in the corner only had 3 skulls on it… Have you considered adding Marcus on there with the backwards hat and all? Just a thought!
Maybe if possible you could do a show on watches you regretted selling ,mine is the gold glashutte small seconds karree and my kurveyo y sobrinos rose gold dual time prominente, kind regards banico who has the illness of watch collecting,or is it an addiction 😊
Way to go Adrian with the Kermit, I hear you on the value, but it's such a great and comfortable watch. I wear mine more than any of my modern rolexes.
@George completely understand you go to different places, but as Adrian says “we would love to see what watches you have?” I personally want to see what gets to spend your hard earned money! What makes you take that leap! You often say that’s above my budget, want to see what made you make a call!!!!
Great stream. I love the more in-depth explanation from Adrian. I do the same thing with other things in my life. George, you did you. Fuck em lol. It'll be great boys can't wait to hear about it. I do have a question, though....If there is one, is the physical award called "The MFing Tick Tock?"
For me, the big eye WAS too big to wear. I have a 7 in wrist and that watch never made it out of the house before I traded it towards a Tudor. I think the slab sides on that one along with the lack of a bezel made it wear so large. I have an omega speedmaster racing with almost the same dimensions as the big eye, albeit a little shorter lug to lug, and it wears night and day from the big eye. And that’s all due to the case shape and how a good Omega is at making their thicker auto chronos feel on wrist.
I second other comments to the effect that the "rate my collection" episodes should not be considered a competition. What I found fascinating about both the episodes, rating fans' collections and Adrian's, Andrew's and George's, is that the collections did, generally, reflect the collector. A great example from the fans' collection was the jazz trumpeter. In terms of the team's collections, you had watches that truly reflected the differences between a watch-maker, journalist and RUclips commentator. My own two penny's worth is that it is unsurprising that the journalist 'won' with more votes, because Andrew's skill-set is to have his finger on the pulse of what people want to read about and discuss. Adrian's was a personal reflection of what he enjoys to wear, and George's reflects his own vision in watch making. Neither of their jobs is to reflect the zeitgeist, but instead to present (in Adrian's case) his personal experience and (in George's case) how he wants to direct watch making in the future. I am very glad George did not just 'flex' by opening up his, no doubt, impressive safe. What he presented was something far more interesting than just a reflection of his financial means. I also think that the other interesting point arising from these episodes is the point discussed by the team in this podcast - namely that people enjoy accessible watches. From my own personal experience of being given a reasonably expensive watch when I was 16, owning no other watch and daily wearing it for 20 years, I actually have now discovered that I can get as much, if not more, enjoyment from far less expensive pieces that have a combination of sentiment and wearability.
Love the show guys, but some useful feedback hopefully... can you try and equalise the sound / mics... Capt B sounds like a creepy narrator... GB very faint and quiet (unusual lol)... Marcus and Andrew much more balanced. Keep up the good work lads!
Adrian your Rolex Kermit is actually worth more than 10k. I have the same model 2008 mine has the engraved Renault in the dial. Mine is in mint condition mint bezel. Last valued 15k. I purchased full set about 8 years ago grey market for £4,700. I asked for money off and got £100 off. 😂👍. D
AP is crazy…..they lost their mind….AP x CJ is a joke……To put a guy like this on a pedestal who bears responsibility for kids w dying in his concerts is a joke.
Every time I see the AP x CJ watch, I can’t help but wonder how long before we get the Nightmare Before Christmas version. Don’t necessarily mean that as a bad thing…
So you are never sending your stolen Rolex in for service by Rolex 😅. They probably have their own watch guy after stealing all that money worth of watches.
George why don’t you bring some of your real watches to the Gun fight. What about your APS, panerai/ with the Rolex movement. You must have patek Philips. It would be a win white wash the completion. 😂.
George will beat Adrian and Andrew every single time on watch collecting, as his is rather unique. So this was a pretty unfair deal. I’ve been a sucker for his customisation for ages and was really happy that Rolex will now have to succumb to having their watches “dressed” up as any other brand. If I buy something, I should be able to do WTF I want with it. Back to the collections: in a slip of the tongue, Adrian confesses that he preferes bracelets to straps when talking about the IWC, anyone notice? His collection is very similar to mine, full of boring classics from Rolex, which is what a proper watch collector should enjoy and own. Maybe George could customise his Explorer II, yup? As for Andrew, I learn a lot from him, but our tastes clash. Saying that the Pelagos, the niftiest watch of late, the most modern and stylish design on the market, seems to have been designed by a child, is like those dumb morons who say that even children could paint a Picasso or a Miró. Listen, folks, I’m a 66 year old retired journalist lady from São Paulo, Brazil and I love spending time with you! Lots of love, keep up the good work and stay independent!
This episode makes me sad. I have been watching this since the beginning, and the George effect has taken over. Ask Peter McKinnon if money ruined his channel. This is not the George channel. Please fall out of love with his influence ($$$), because the arrogance is annoying.
GB is a let down to the team. He never takes criticism, and also he is so rich it is in realistic, with his family’s background; so he is out of touch and cannot represent normal people.

Missed this live 😢
Great stream, Gents! ❤
Marcus!!! We need the next ‘In the metal’ episode!!!
Always look forward to these sessions. Thanks to all for your efforts. Northern California subscriber.
did the survey once earlier after listening to your podcast and redone it again just now. and thanks for the session as always you guys are awesome. enjoy the meet up next week and sending my love all the way from Bangkok!
Shout out to the boys! Best content per usual. Always great to see the man the myth the legend Marcus!
Adrian’s collection it is kind of boring but the way he represents them, it makes it the best collection from all 3.
I didn’t mind George bringing the BWD collection out. I love Bamford designs, I’m sad I don’t have more. I want the Bamford Monaco so bad!!!
I LOVE the livestreams but how do I know when they happen? I always seem to miss them live!
Voted on the survey, quite a few categories where I had to pick the least worst, rather than what I would choose due to the options, available.
Now watching replay and know I’m already going to like this, keep smashing it guys!
Hopefully catch the live next time
BTW, love the debate/arguments. Please dont go soft on us and keep this going. This is very entertaining even if it might not be comfortable for you guys!!! Love the show ❤
💪🏼
From what was presented, to me Andrew has the most diverse and dow to earth collection. That would be mi pick. I like George collection second.
GB to took the heat like a champ, Andrew took the win like a champ, Adrian has now also fully embraced the capt. boring hat.
End of the day we're just here to talk watches and you boys have the cracking chat. Up the show
💜
We need a watch event in Miami FL!!!!
Done with the survey.

Old money usually is very discreet, george is no exception
My watch of the year doesn't feature in your survey. The Tag Monaco Chrono 39 Titanium Turqouise. Gonna have to pick up that baby in the New Year.
Did they ever cover release of the new Moser streamliner? Nm seconds after I typed this they did talk about it lol
Jesus Christ George. That Ferrari Watch…

I can't make the London meetup 😢 bit i just daydreamed what id bring in my 5m (i hope) therapy session! It went crackingly eell and they loved me 😂
This has made me laugh! See you all on Wednesday! Can't wait 😃👍🏻
Adrian chooses everything with heart…
Maybe if possible you could do a show on watches you regretted selling ,mine is the gold glashutte small seconds karree and my kurveyo y sobrinos rose gold dual time prominente, kind regards banico who has the illness of watch collecting,or is it an addiction 😊
Hey! Where is the habring felix chrono top seconds on the CB list?! Adrian watch if I’ve ever seen one

Great stuff!
I wonder how many watches they got away with in 4 mins...60?
The AP x CJ looks great but (most of) you have kids so how do you feel knowing he’s directly responsible for kids dying at his concert? Seriously.
Need to look that up after multiple mentions

Lug to lug of Avi is big for sure - Andrew
You guys are the best! One suggestion: I get you guys are all European, but I wish you gave Grand Seiko more love
Andrew is Australian, recently moved to the UK.

A scholarly breakdown

👏 George and Capt B too far from their mics - need Bluetooth ones to clip to their shirts.
Take the show on the road! Give Taylor a run for the money!
LOOLLLLLL - Sheik it off
US could refer to the Heavy Metal music festival.
Who did Fetrari give the watch too!??
Mr Bamford, you love this intro, I've just watched nico and I think you might like his intro 🤔
Audio levels on George's mic are through the 76th floor 😵💫

You are just jealous, shut your trap.
Have you seen the nopass Nato from the guy of watchcrunch? Adrian…what do you think of it?
