Man the amount of insight and knowledge to be gained here especially around the growth of the modern watch culture is immense. Love to have learned about how Benhahmias helped to grow Hodinkee at the beginning and how that investment has helped them in return!

Amazing interview! Great questions and great responses. I’m still thinking through Ben’s defense that what they publish isn’t an endorsement. True. Very true. Buuuut giving potential scams a platform or doing editorial videos/content with incorrect watches is still problematic. There have been a few misses in that respect that are totally excusable - we’re all human - but I don’t think the ‘Dink can just wash its hands clean on that. Especially with pre-auction coverage.
That said. Amazing interview! Some of the best watch content in a long while!!
