Same situation. Multiple flips, took a cattle guard out and wemt deep into a field. Me and my passenger had 1 cut each qnd neither one was deep or worrying. Guadian angel saved our lives. Still dont know how we came out fine.
Death didn't feel like doing the paperwork that night.

Reading all these stories of walking away from bad accidents, reminds me of my grandfather in law who flew a fighter jet, in Korea. He got shot down during a dog fight and instead of bailing out he flew the plane all the way down to the ground and landed into the dirt on the plane’s belly. And yet he said the worst part of the whole experience was when he jumped down to the ground from the cockpit he clocked himself in the jaw with his knee.

I got airborne at 120+ in a Shelby cresting a pretty steep hill that ended at a T intersection at the bottom.
It was a 50mph highway at the bottom with blind corners 100ft past the intersection on each side.
Gravel and Concrete trucks are always rollin through there as there is a gravel pit and concrete facility a half mile down the road.
Somehow I was able to slow the car enough and get it turned, and we didn't crash.
Although my buddy who was riding with me who had also dared me to jump the hill, nearly passed out from fright.
It was Christmas Eve and he had come to visit his Grandfather, could have been a very tragic Christmas for all of us.
This was more than 25 years ago.
And the way he had the accident is the reason the insurance is in his moms name. A lot of insurance companies refuse to insure young drivers in cars just like this for this reason
Buddy of mine jumped a set of RR tracks at about 90. He was in an S-10. When it hit the ground. It bounced to the left. His head slammed into a phone pole. Afterwards the truck spun and flipped three times. It finally came to rest over 100 yards from the pole. The two passengers walked away without a scratch.
At least it was able to be an open casket.

Those 4th gen’s were actually quite safe in crashes. I remember a post of a kid in Texas crashing one at 155 mph landing ontop of a bunch of propane storage tanks on the side of the road. Walked away. Had pictures posted on ls1tech or the car ontop of the propane tanks
Saturday night, May 4th a similar incident happened right in my front yard. A BMW 320 came thru my front yard at approximately 100Mph, hit a culvert, his wheel and strut came to rest on my Sidewalk. As bad as that is, it was only the beginning of this disaster.
He took out a tree, sideswiped another, still,,,not the end of this disaster. He hit my $100,000 Motorhome sitting parallel to my driveway, needless to say, it was Totaled. The BMW was totaled before it got to my RV, most unfortunate was….He lost his life at that point. So Unfortunate, 22 Years Old.
Worked with a fellow who was an emt. One if his first responses was to a car accident, when he saw the car in the field it did not look all that bad, as he walked up to the drivers door the driver was still sitting holding the steering wheel, he gave a shout to no response, as he bent over to look in and check on the driver he found the top half of his head missing, the car flipped or rolled at some point and his head popped out the sun roof and got clipped.
Saw the aftermath of a mid engine 80’s sports car clip a power transmission pole. The front of the car the driver and the engine were all scattered over more than an 1/2 acre. Six ft of one of the two power poles was missing. Dude walked away.
Friend lost it in his Firebird , ended up on his roof . Had to push out what was left of his windshield to crawl out.

I didn't wreck a car but wrecked my motorcycle. I was screwing around racing my buddy on my 1980 Suzuki Gs400. He had his mom's 02 Honda Valkyrie (decked out with bags, windshield, everything) and had his baby momma on the back. We were at our local ¼ mile stretch of road kids used to race on back then that was outside of town. We were coming back from a nice ride to the old coal mine 30mi outside of my old hometown and hit that stretch and decided to let our bikes eat. Right at 85mph a doe walked out in front of my bike. I remember waking up on my back, then trying to stand up, and finding out my left ankle was broken completely (bone sticking out on the inside of my ankle) and my palms were hamburgers. I wasn't wearing a helmet, or any protective gear other than an armored riding jacket. My buddy later told me that I hit the deer dead center mass and it literally split in half, and threw the front half under his bike causing him to end up on a stoppie and somehow steering the bike between me and my bike as we slid down the road.
I hate deer now
I distinctly remember his gf screaming that I was dead. When I found out my ankle was broken, I told him to call 911. His response?
"I can't I have warrants" 😂😂😂

I rolled a 1996 Suzuki esteem 6 times in a barrel roll when the back tire blew and I lost control when the rear ended dipped in the ditch trying to save it at 45+mph. I walked away with a concussion, a small cyst on my brain and a bum c3 in my neck. I feel extrem lucky to have walked away being unbuckled and all. 🎉 celebrate life y’all you never know when it could end.

Sounds like what happened to one of my best friends. It was busted up everywhere. One of the t tops was gone. We just aired the tires back up and he drove it for like a week before he got a new car. 😂
I sold my gen 4 Camaro because I was sick and tired of trying to fix the leaky t-tops . Now that's someone else's problem , I love my f bodies . But if I buy another one it will not have t-tops .
My wife and get rolled 5 times going about 80 destroyed a concrete culvert pipe and went through a fence landed on all 4s the only injurys was a cut on both our right hands
I hope people understand the actual danger of flipping a convertible over, when you flip the only thing keeping you alive is the roof my guy. Without that roof the windshield gives and you’re basically stuck in the car where the ground is your roof and you can’t get out. My brother passed flipping a convertible Sebring and the car caught fire, don’t think the shit can’t happen to you

coming home from a bar one night, i see 7 cars all turn down the same road all one behind the other like they had a convoy goin, not any super crazy cars or anything just old trucks and gm cars all around 2007ish for years, but they looked like they were haulin ass. they were headed in the same direction i was going. me in my 05 3.8 v6 impala decided i wanted to fuck with em and pass em all. and thats what i did. i pushed that damn car hard, passed all of em i musta hit speed limiter about 15 times in the mile strech it took for me to pass them. they tried to not let me pass but they failed. i was dying laughing the entire time. i didnt think that old bone stock 3800 could beat the cars they were drivin but it did. just incase i angered anyone i circled the block 2 times then sat at a stop sign for 10 mins. its not that busy of an area so you can do stuff like that and dont have to worry about traffic

They spam the comments to get it "trending" on RUclips then those bot comments get deleted after a short period so that the bots won't get banned and to hide that they're doing this on every new video. It's fake engagement.

I flipped a truck at 16 due to tractors blocking the whole road. I flew out the driver window and landed in a tree. Truck wrapped around the bottom. It messed me up but I'm alive.
