I told my mum about a JW elder 'touching' me. Instead of getting the support a young kid needs from her mum, my mum called a load of elders around to our house (including the abuser) and they forced me to say that nothing happened and scared the life out of me - I was only 13 at the time. I left home at 16 and never seen my parents or the JW's since - I have never complained or mentioned this before as even now I tremble at what I went through those 28 years ago.
I was an elder, I left this org 12 years ago, I learned how to count on Christ, Jehua Meshiah, Jesus Christ. Never think of what you lost by leaving this org, think about the love you find in Christ. I now know and love my Lord and that's more than enough. All that JW does is worshipping the governing body.

If there were an omnipotent, omniscient and infallible god, it would be INCAPABLE of making mistakes. If humanity is flawed, either the god does not exist, or it is malicious, and deserves hatred, not worship. Which is it? If it is omnipotent, it would have NO need of any book, preachers, prophets, signs, angels, martyrs, churches, etc. It could, and logically would, communicate DIRECTLY and UNAMBIGUOUSLY to each individual being on an individual basis. Oh, we have free choice in order to learn and grow? HOW Is that even remotely SANE????????????????????????????????? This is a GOD, it could have made all humanity flawless to begin with. If it did not, it is evil and malicious. Since it does not do this, the only logical explanation of churches and books and religions is that they are delusions and con games, traditions made up to keep fearful and weak minded people in obedient servitude for the profit and benefit of con men. Think about it. The greatest source of ignorance, fear, misery, poverty, famine, disease and war throughout ALL of human history has been RELIGION: the placement of fantasy and emotions above the observation of OBJECTIVE FACTUAL VERIFIABLE REALITY. Religion is evil, period.

@@fussbudgetstories Why do you Anti-Jehovah's witnesses troll's believe they're not Christians? Are Jehovah’s Witnesses Christians? Yes. We are Christians for the following reasons: We try to follow closely the teachings and behavior of Jesus Christ.-1 Peter 2:21. We believe that Jesus is the key to salvation, that “there is not another name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must get saved.”-Acts 4:12. When people become Jehovah’s Witnesses, they are baptized in the name of Jesus.-Matthew 28:18, 19. We offer our prayers in Jesus’ name.-John 15:16. We believe that Jesus is the Head, or the one appointed to have authority, over every man.-1 Corinthians 11:3. However, in a number of ways, we are different from other religious groups that are called Christian. For example, we believe that the Bible teaches that Jesus is the Son of God, not part of a Trinity. (Mark 12:29) We do not believe that the soul is immortal, that there is any basis in Scripture for saying that God tortures people in an everlasting hell, or that those who take the lead in religious activities should have titles that elevate them above others.-Ecclesiastes 9:5; Ezekiel 18:4; Matthew 23:8-10.
I too was a JW in my teenage years until about age 30. The Jim Jones in Guana event happened and I began to see the similarities. I promptly left. It was hard to navigate the world and keep my head on straight. So, I decided the best thing I could do at the time was thing that JWs tell their members they can't do. To get and education and a real career. I started by taking a nurse's aide course at the local college. I got a job as one and worked my way up to a medical secretary. Then I went back to college and became an RN. I followed that with a BS degree in Business Administration. I married a man with a Harvard Ph.D and am still married to him after 38 years. There are other details too many to mention but the key is that I survived. During the years, I also became a born again Christian and accepted Jesus as my Savior. I have many loyal friends and family, people whom I trust. Looking back on being a JW I realized that JWs live in a cult like society. Jesus said his Church was built on a rock and gates of Hell would not prevail against it. He did NOT say society, He said Church. Although I was never disfellowshipped, I will never go back to that cult. Separating families and friends is not from God. Plus, JWs believe in Replacement Theology which is a false doctrine. Crimes such as pedophelia are not reported to the police and are managed within their society. JWs have a patriarchal society where men are treated superiorly and women are slaves. I have literally seen children treated harshly, abused and beaten. If you are in that cult I encourage you to wake up and get out while there while there is still time.
Why I will not be a JW: The following is my opinion based on my experience: 1. They subjugate women and children. The hirarcy goes like this: Watchtower elders, Kingdom Hall elders, men, women, children, and so on. This organization covers for men and persecutes women and children. I have seen it with my own eyes. 2. They do not 'rightly divide' the Word. Jesus came for the Jews. They rejected him. Jesus appeared to Apostle Paul and instructed him to teach the Gentiles. 3. They falsely accuse anybody who is not a JW as being a sinner and not worthy of association. (I suppose they forgot that they are sinners too) 4. The last thing the JW elders and men want are educated people who can think and reason for themselves. Hence, lowly jobs and income. No college educations. Especially for women. They can say Jesus was poor which is incorrect. Jesus was a carpenter. Similar to high tech of today. Read the book called "Killing Jesus" by Bill O Reilly. It is a historical book on Jesus's life. When Jesus was crucified the offenders drew lots over his fine seamless robe.

I don't remember the Prodigal Son having to wait six months when he came back to his dad. The father RAN to his wayward son. In the JW's they expect people to crawl back to them. That's not LOVE, it's CONTROL.
The Father (God) will wait for as long as it takes. The story of the Prodigal Son is about someone walking away from God and then when they want to return, God will run to you with open arms. Humans are humans. They can't be compared to God or have the same forgiveness God's has for you. If people don't know God like the JW's don't, they don't know how to do forgiveness like God does. We are truly blessed that God forgives us when we ask Him.
6 months basically to prove to the Elders of JW's that you are proving yourself to them and it's your probation so no one can talk look you set in back can't speak ask questions....which is so humiliating you want to crawl and hide somewhere
I was born into a cult. My parents went to the meetings and I never felt okay. Even as a seven year old, I witnessed adultery. We left very quickly after that, but had nothing. You're so brave and strong. I'm not JW, I met a JW family I loved. The husband and wife worked together in their business. They were childhood sweethearts. The husband stopped going to services with his family. The wife told me he'd rejected Jehovah and could no longer live in the home. The pressure was placed on her to get him to leave their home. This blew my mind. I knew this was not of God based on the marriage vows I read in the Scripture. However, nothing I said made sense to her, and she definitely didn't make sense to me. This couple was forced to divorce because the husband stop attending the JW meetings. We no longer talk. I'm sure the American flag on my porch is the reason they avoid my house. I watch them glare with contempt. I don't judge people's religious beliefs, patriotism, ect. The JW really think they're superior to the rest of us. My grandparents were JW. When I stayed with them during the summers I had to go to the kingdom hall with them. I never felt right there. It wasn't the same loving feeling I got at other churches. I also didn't understand why there were no windows in the main hall. Kid me would always think, "God is light...why don't they let light in?"
I’m actually a Jehová witness and I’ll tell you why since we want to keep the kingdom call safe we wouldn’t put windows so no one would go inside and break in because it’s a special place

Jw's were not around in the first century as the first disciples to say they did what the first disciples did, but in the shunning. I understand the shunning as a brother this doesn't mean I can't speak to anyone. Because just like anyone who aren't brothers. I still speak too. We can go on and on threw the list. We can throw bible verses to each other none stop. But as I questioned.... how do jw's know *they finally* got the whole truth?
@@rafaelguerra811 You need to shoot me two questions at a time, but as to answer the first two questions, It has not been about changing their doctrine or changing their minds, it's about, light getting brighter in terms of Gods spirit giving the "slave" a better understanding of what is discovered biblically. Just remember that if the so called "erroneous" predictions made the Organization a false religion, Jehovah by this point in time, would no longer have a visible organization on earth, they would had already trickled down in numbers since 2000 years ago. With now more 9 million faithful servants worldwide, compared to the little handful of apostates, Jehovah's organization has only grown tremendously. but what apostates don't understand is that even starting back from about 51 C.E., some witnesses in Thessalonica were wrongly predicting that “the presence” of the Lord Jesus was imminent. (2 Thess. 2:1, 2) By about 55 C.E., some in Corinth had rejected the clear Christian teaching regarding the resurrection of the dead. (1 Cor. 15:12) About 65 C.E., other Jehovah's witnesses said that the resurrection had already taken place, it being of a symbolic kind that living Christians experience.-2 Tim. 2:16-18. But throughout history as the bible had prophesied, there has always been murmuring apostates, complaining about the different so called "inconsistencies", and "erroneous dates and times" that would eventually end up getting clarified anyway, and along the way, since the days of Cain, apostates have been bailing out from the road that leads to everlasting life, and now Jehovah's Organization still continues to exist,,, and will continue to exist WITH US,,,, OR WITHOUT US, whether we like it or not. Jehovah’s dealings with his servants in the past have only shown that understanding of his purposes often comes gradually. Does it mean that because past servants that appeared to change their doctrine, or taught incorrect predictions made them fake or false? NO, even Abraham did not know how God’s promise regarding the “seed” would work out. Daniel did not understand the final outcome of his prophecies. John the Baptizer, who introduced the Messiah, later asked to be enlightened as to whether another was coming. Jesus himself did not know the day and hour of the “great tribulation.” The apostles had to learn progressively that the kingdom is heavenly and that Gentiles, too, may inherit it. It was only upon receiving the book of Revelation that the early Christians learned that Christ’s reign would be 1,000 years long and that he would have 144,000 joint heirs, and the list goes on. Since 2016 and 2033 going there has not been of anymore any other big changes in the understanding on where we stand in world events or otherwise. So is it wise to leave Jehovah's Organization to now be part of nothing, as in becoming part of an (Ex JW Community) with no possibility of living for eternity? hands down NO. Just as nothing stays the same, and life itself comes to an end, we will all face judgment by God, soon.

Your story is very similar to mine. I grew up in a seventh day Adventist family. SDA is the same System like JW, with different details. Since I learned about the true gospel I left SDA. My parents are sad and are trying to bring me back to “the truth”. But I never knew God and had a relationship with Him the way I have it now. I never understood some Bible verses cause it didn’t go with Adventist belief, but now it all makes sense. Knowing our Bible is the best way to protect ourselves from false doctrines.
The two belief systems are the same, only different....the Sabbath Day observation comes to mind. I wonder how the hospital and dietary guidelines and encouragement to attend collage have any similarities between the two. Or is such a part of those differences you notice?
I only been to service twice at "Adventist". I have it in quotations as I not believe in denominations. I dunno much about them, but I do believe in Friday from dusk to Saturday to dusk as Sabbath, as I grew up with parents who believed that Sabbath is Saturday and that never changed. Now I read your post, maybe not be in a hurry to visit another " Adventist" service.
Ex witness here. Hell was the reason I left. Jesus taught about hell, JW teach against it. Since Jesus is the way the truth, and the life, I think I'll go with Jesus.
One of my best friends was a JW. Our friendship wilted. She was judgmental of my shortcomings and seemed to believe she was superior and I was a lost soul. Yet, if I found something that didn't belong to me, I would try to find the owner and return it, but she believed in "finders keepers, losers weepers." And there you have it.
Yes Pat. I was born JW and all my family including my paternal grandmother and grandfather, all my cousins. My uncle, my father's eldest brother remarried after his first wife died from I believe child birth with her 5th child. My uncle remarried into JW family as well and ended up with 6 children. My uncle took his youngest girl child from the previous marriage and lived with her. This girl did not go to school as she was now the domestic worker for his newly found family. She would wake up 4am to prepare for her father and siblings breakfast. She would clean the house including outside. After that she would go to sell fruits and vegetables at the market and she was supposed to come home to prepare for lunch. She would leave again to sell on the farm market after cleaning up after her siblings. This was a daily thing. Other family members complained to my uncle, but fell on dead ears. On the other hand his wife would just get out of bed, make herself pretty and out to "preach" door to door. She would let her grown children do nothing around the house. It was found out later that this woman was having affairs and had STDs . During the time of their marriage, my uncle was involved in a wreck that left him paralyzed and in wheelchair. My uncle got so sick and she brought him to my place. My parents took him in and took him to hospital. To our surprise, his wife couldn't stay with him. My father gave him showers every day and my mother would clean his soiled clothes and bedding. My uncle was doing better and his wife took him out of the hospital without my parents knowing and against medical advice We understand that my uncle died from poisoning within few weeks after "stealing " him from the hospital. This woman also took my cousin, the girl they made a domestic worker to evil doers and cast evil spirits on her. She did not know then because she was young. She struggled for sometime, but because she left JW and knew that Jesus is the only one who heals and destroys the devil. She is now happy and she's worshipping at a pentacostal church. JW is a cult. By the way, my uncle's 2nd wife died a very painful death.
Children do grow up and leave JW. This group is absusive with their children. Every adult survivor I have talked to tells of mental, emotional and physical abuse. Very sad to do such great harm to a child that at 40-60 they still carry this abuse with them. Why does the Child Protective Services look the other way? Does anyone know why?
@@jillspangler5139 I have 5 friends that are Christian's they get abused if they do 1 wrong thing slapped hit whatever physical. Even miss-saying a word from Christians beliefs you get punished.
Perhaps the strong feeling of community and fellowship is a great attraction to this way of believing . Feeling loved , wanted , welcome and supported is a very powerful motivator .
I was "saved" when I was 19. I was reading about Jesus Christ in a Jehovah's Witness pamphlet. I felt I needed God's help that day--while I was inside my bedroom (after reading that pamphlet). I lifted my arms up and called on Jesus and prayed for His help and "gave me life over to Him." Immediately I felt that He was the one Who was giving me a new life--in other words, I wasn't doing Him the favor (by giving my life to Him)--He was helping me. I realized the devil's deception--that by trusting Him with my life, I'd be snared. I felt great peace and i felt God's wonderful presence--for weeks. But then I was too worried about which church to go to--and which was the way to the "Truth." Well, make a long story shirt, God showed me in the Scriptures (again) that the "Truth" was not in the church of Jehovah's Witness (which I almost joined)--but the Bible says in John 14: 6 - (Jesus said), I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No man comes to the Father but by me. Also, when I read in the gospel books, Jesus said,, "If you do these works iMy name..." He often says to do things in His name. I fianlly realized my salvation was all based on Jesus dying on the cross--not any of my works at all. BUT by faith, I follow Him daily, because I love Him for what He's done for me--and what He does for me in my life everyday. He is my personal Savior. Often, I've heard people say they don't follow "organized religion." Well, I don't believe religion will save us, but it's all about having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ everyday--by faith. Praise God!!!
That’s right Jesus is the way!the only way to get through to his father Jehovah God is through his son Jesus ! Yes we must love the son but the father first 🙏🙏🙏

When I was a very new believer in Christ, I dabbled with the Jehovah's Witnesses a bit and attended some of their study groups. I never considered myself one, and I assumed they were just another denomination. One time I went to a JW study group and I quoted CS Lewis' "Mere Christianity." There was an audible gasp. An older lady looked at me like I had just snorted a line of cocaine in the middle of church. Another fellow leaned over to me and whispered, "We don't discuss CS Lewis here." "Uh... why not? He's considered one of the greatest theologians of the 20th century." "But he wasn't a Jehovah's Witness." "...and...?" They all grumbled and we moved on. Later that evening they told me that Jesus was merely an angel and the "spirit-brother" of Lucifer. After that I was done with them.
I do not believe they are followers of Christ. The primary reason I say that is because they make Christ a lesser being than the Father who they always must reference the name. Jehovah this and Jehovah that. Christianity is the religion of Christ, not Jehovah. Anyway, thanks for sharing your story. I found it to be quite entertaining. Lol.
I have to call you out on the Jehovah's witnesses telling you that "Jesus was Lucifer's spirit brother." I think maybe you're confusing them with Mormons, if you disagree with Jehovah's witnesses that's totally fine, but you don't need to make stuff up to make your point.
@@ACantu-de8pg Nope! The elder of their congregation told me. I was also researching the Mormon church at the time, and after the Bible study meeting in which they were shocked I mentioned CS Lewis, I said to the elder leading the Bible study, “Did you know Mormons believe that Jesus was merely an angel and a ‘spirit-brother’ of Lucifer?” I will never forget his response. He angrily replied, “Yeah! Yeah, they were!” and walked away, obviously pissed off that he had even had to say that. He clearly despised me for bringing it up. That was when I was done with them.
@@jeffj2730 Honestly, I can't surmise who Christ is to them. I heard they believe he was the Archangel Michael before he was born on earth. And they say that 144,000 will be in heaven with the Father while everyone else will be on earth with the Son. Nevermind the verse written where Jesus said that he and the Father are one. I share the original commenters frustration with Witnesses. They are taking scripture and making a Monty Python version of it.
Its a man made theology in which keywords have been changed in their Bible to diminish the deity of the Lord and Savior, Jesus. They believe in works instead of grace and salvation to have a relationship with God. Christians are called to work in his service, but work won't save anyone by its self.
One request please ask one God to guide you to the straight path. And i invite you to read Quran ... the book will speak for itself ! There is no harm in reading!
I was raised as a Jehovah’s Witness since my early childhood, found out about the lies, hypocrisy, and child sex abuse scandals, and left. I still wanted to go to church but never did until something bad happened in my life and I needed God. I go to a non-denominational church now and I love it. My view of God is better now where as before, I saw Him as a tyrant. The people there don’t judge me whereas I was judged a lot as a JW, even when I was a good kid.
Thanks Tina. So inspiring to hear you speak. You have great faith and goodness, and God has blessed you. So agree about focussing on the walk and the relationship, and not trying to figure it all out. God loves all his children, and is patient and compassionate beyond what humans can comprehend.

It's interesting listening to this ... when Tina mentions she was "not allowed to have any friends"... this was absolutely true for me growing up as a JW. Associating with any other kids outside the congregation was viewed as a serious wrong doing. I remember going to my next door neighbor's house to play, when I was about 5 years old, and they happened to be celebrating a birthday, which I didn't know until I got there. They gave me cake and made me feel welcome. I had such a great time. When my dad found out, he took off his belt and took to me for being at a worldly birthday. I remember once we went to my worldly uncle's wedding in the 1970's when I was a kid, and we sat at the back during the church ceremony and as I sat there I was terrified I would see demons - I was petrified. The condition relating to "not being allowed to celebrate birthdays and holidays" goes along with all the other rules and beliefs about evil spirits etc, which really screws with your mind, which you don't realize until you leave the Watchtower. Years later, while I was in my 20's, I visited my friend Matthew and his wife Lisa who were both working full time in the Watchtower Bethel. We went out to eat at a Chinese restaurant located near Bethel and while we were eating he was talking about how sad life is for worldly people he said (quote), "Look at these people eating here, none of them know how to deal with their emotional issues. We do because we have God's spirit to guide us." And I remember thinking "yeah that is so true!" Two years after that night, I was at a kingdom hall meeting, and a friend informed me that Matthew's wife Lisa had committed suicide. She gassed herself to death. I left the Watchtower not long after. Lisa's suicide triggered a new perception on the Watchtower, and I started to see the hypocrisy and double standards within the congregation and the governing body. So I left and I cannot even begin to tell you all that I have a peace of mind and genuine happiness I have never felt while being a Witness.
Steve Smith You have found some hard truths. The mental cruelty and oppression is undeniable...except to the brainwashed...who will deny it at all cost. Image is EVERYTHING. God bless. Hope you don't give up on God/Jesus.

Ms. Lisa Marie im sorry such bad experiences but the reason why they tell you not to associate with wordly people is because they dont have same beliefs the same way nurses dont hang with plummers I studied with them even though i never got baptized but i understood all reasons why they do what they do Things have changed and unfortunately some people dont understand things well and take it way too far
I was excommunicated from a cult-church and what broke me was that it had become my family 👪 and suddenly I was in a world 🌍 I was scared of all on my own. ... I am so glad you are free now!
My mother in law became a Jehovah's Witness about 5 years ago. She got sucked in during a really bad time in her life and she has been full on obsessed with it. I don't have her at my house any more because she brings that garbage material into my house and her cult shows up randomly. I believe in God and I try to keep it at that. The problem with the logic of Jehovah's Witnesses is that they constantly change the bible and they reword everything in new versions. What they won't talk about is that in the 1970's and 1980's they were issuing watchtowers that had 'information' in them from a man named Johanas Greiber who got his information from spirits, dead one's. He was a medium. I have more than proven to them that they are wrong yet, they continue to turn it around on me. I'm not worried, I know they are wrong. One of the biggest discrepancies is they claim that Jesus's hands were above his head on the 'stake' because they refuse to use the word cross and I keep telling them, that's not possible. The holy bible states that Jesus's 'crime' was on a sign above his head, "This is Jesus the King of Jews" and I said it's not possible for Jesus's hands to have been above his head because a sign was above his head so, if the theory of yours is correct, it would be 'Jesus's hands were above the sign'. They officially hate me but I don't care.
+Mentholian Smoke And their illustrations of two overlapped hands with ONE nail through them is false also. There were NAILS (plural, John 20:25) I know you've tried everything, because I can tell you are knowledgable. If you are on speaking terms, as why they don't believe JEHOVAH"S WITNESS (God's Testimony) 9 We accept human testimony, but God’s testimony is greater because it is the testimony of God,which he has given about his Son. 10 Whoever believes in the Son of God accepts this testimony. Whoever does not believe God has made him out to be a liar, because they have not believed the testimony God has given about his Son. 11 And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.Concluding Affirmations13 I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life"(1John 5:9-13)
+Tim Spangler Right and that's kind of what I was getting at explaining the Jesus crucifixion thing. Thanks for those verses, will they help in an argument?

Claudia Chaidez, sounds like you want to be more than friends with him. which is understandable. plus, you want him to know the real, biblical Jesus. you need to show him the unfulfilled prophecies of the JWs because according to the bible, if a prophet's prophecies doesn't come true, even just one, they are to be considered false prophets that aren't sent by God, so the JWs aren't a Christian organization and Jose should get out from among them. this would be an effective way to get people out of that cult! on a side note, this is biblical. ruclips.net/video/vyAh9OENJPU/видео.html

Well I couldn’t believe it that Jesus loved me so much to have died on the cross. I got on my knee and gave my life to him. There's no dialogue with JW's . They appear to you as if they're listening but they don't . They're already waiting for you to finish so they can show you their scriptures . One has to be equally wise as serpents with them .
@Aubrey Shatner of course I'm entitled to my opinion, I don't need your blessing. But when I use scripture to help me understand the situation, it's no longer opinion but FACTS that I can evaluate and determine. The obvious contradictions by JW from their failed history reveals a HUGE problem they can't ignore. Thousand of good people are leaving JW and become Christian while many of the apostates of this world remain in a false organization like JW's and Mormonism. The Bible warns about Jehovah's Witnesses, it warns of false teachers, false prophets, those that add to or go beyond scripture. JWs claim to follow the Bible and yet no Bible I know of says anything about 1799,1844,1874,1879, 1914,1915, 1918, 1919, 1925, 1936, 1940's, 1950's, 1960's,1975, 2000,ect. Awake 1993 Mar 22 page4 Jehovah’s Witnesses have had wrong expectations about when the end would come. - Jan 1, 2013 Watchtower "Does this admission of making mistakes stamp them [Jehovah's Witnesses] as false prophets? Not at all, for false prophets do not admit to making mistakes." Watchtower, Nov. 1, 1972, page 644 - in brackets added Admitting to making false prophecies doesn't magically change them, they are still Bible defined false prophecies.(Deut 18:20-22) Very poor reasoning, probably why JWs "suggested dates" and went beyond scripture. Food from God? I guess you could say that even JW religion says they are false given their admission to false teachings that they have carried worldwide! Those are man's dates or they come from Satan!
@Mike Simpson WOW!!!! That was amazing info you provided that I didn't know about and need to do some reading now. Aubrey sounds like something from a horror movie with quotes like _"not just that women but thousands of devils followers like her"_ like a really bad Stephen King movie where the insane woman believes everyone is out to get her or part of some cult. The ironic part of THIS story is that, like in the movies, it's the woman that belongs to the satanic cult that feeds of the souls of those that are willing to provide blind devotion and allegiance just because they claim to the "THE GOVERNING BODY" .... mwah mwah mwah haaaa. Poor, Aubrey, seriously, the Paranoid schizophrenia disorder is so T E X T B O O K that first-year Psychology students wouldn't need to read theirs, just observe her. Aubrey is confused and looking for answers but too afraid to admit it ...... hopefully some common sense and a dose of reality will fix that.

@Scotty Doesn't Know I feel sorry for you. Just because some people (including you) choose to disreguard the facts doesn't mean God doesn't exist. He's not Tinkerbell, he won't die if you don't believe. Just because he's NOT some genie who appears every time someone rubs some magic lamp, doesn't make him as fictional. I hope you get to the truth sometime.
@Scotty Doesn't Know God IS fact, The fact that you don't believe those of us who know changes nothing. Pronoun "he" is linguistic convention. Using "it" although gender neutral, is also disrespectful.
@Scotty Doesn't Know Your definition of fact is incorrect. I suggest you look it up before you embarrass yourself further. According to your definition, the big bang THEORY is not fact. Sinse it cannot be replicated without destroying everything that exists, it cannot be fact. It's not only an unproven THEORY, ( also called a conclusion or myth) it can't be proven.
Mario Meza Jesus said: “I and my Father am one” John 10:30. Jesus is one with the Father, this is why He said to Philip: “he that has seen me has seen the Father” . John 14:9. So they are two but one God. In the creation account God said: “let US make man in OUR image, in OUR likeness.” Genesis 1:26. So these texts suggest that when God is speaking it always in the plural. So what does that suggest to you?
I grew up with jehovah witnesses as neighbors. They were kinda weird and still are but they seemed relatively normal other than the fact that they didn't celebrate anything. And then in highschool, one of my friends in my art class was also a jehovah witness. He was really easy to talk to and I liked to joke around a lot with him. I always thought it was weird and disrespectful that he would walk out of the room every morning when the national anthem played. He seemed to me to be pretty sheltered as well as he had never had cafeteria food once in his highschool experience.
Exact same life story. turned 18 on Friday the 8th of January moved out on Saturday 9th. Had my son 4 years later single mum became homeless in England wasn't good. We've come a long way and my son is amazing.
I was recently saved after believing witness doctrine for 20 years. It took a Baptist friend of mine going over scripture with me for roughly 3 years to pull me away from the false doctrine of witnesses. I remember when I first started studying with Jehovah's witnesses they told me that I could always use the KJV version of the Bible because it was what I was familiar with and I could use it to prove that the New world translation was accurate. For some reason I just believe them and switched to the New world translation without ever fact-checking them and that's how they pulled me in. As just a quick example in the New world translation throughout the New testament you will find the word Jehovah even though it doesn't exist anywhere in the King James version except in the Old testament. That's just one tiny example but I can go over multiple different scriptures where they have been manipulated in the New world translation. I feel bad for witnesses that were raised from the cradle to believe a certain doctrine and to completely ignore any other teachings. One thing she did not mention is that Jehovah's witnesses look at everyone else in the world as worldly and by default that makes them corrupt. I would love to talk to her just to let her know that she's not alone and there are many of us out there like her.

Valerie Diaz Hi Sister! Nothing can separate you from Gods love. Sitting in the Kingdom hall does not make God love you any more than He does right now. You are His child and you are loved. Romans 8:38-39 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
@Chris Eggleton works of repentance will get you back into this organization, you have NEVER been disfellowshipped from Jesus. He has always been with you and still loves you and hasn't deserted you even if your family and church family has done that to you. Interesting that the GOD and Creator of our being is less judgmental than the people of earth. GOD will forgive you just by asking Him in prayer and that sin will be forgotten even if people or you still choose to remember it. That's the power of the Blood of Christ is that our sins are given to Him and we are washed clean. Obviously, just like washing our clothes, they will get dirty again and so will our soul, but He is there each and every time even if we have the same stains and the same dirt, they will come clean again. The people of this organization have judged you and made a decision on your ability to follow of the rules of MEN ... but GOD isn't as critical as long as you have FAITH in Him and TRUST Him and SEEK Him .... then this organization has no power over you and you will overcome by the blood of the Lamb.
Mike Simpson Because it is a cover up. The books in the 60’s and 70’s contradict what they teach now. So many contradictions over the years. People imprisoned and dying for this religion, then they change doctrine.
Amen! I went through the same challenges in letting go of their doctrines. But I kept going back to God and focusing on my relationship with Him. They all eventually came into place.
let me explain to all those who still think there a such thing as a god, there is no such thing. all religions are cults, they all commit crimes, felonies, break the law in some way or another, so how can that represent any god? name one religious group (cult) that has not broken the law? I was a former JW myself, and during that time my husband had proceded to beat the shit out me for the past 10 years, when we got involved in this crazy shit, I went to the elders for help as to how to handle this within the bounds of the "bible" which I found out later was a book written by a psychopath, and they told me I had to stay with this demented bastard unless I could PROVE he had an affair with someone else. now mind you, he had been cheating on me for years, in my own house, in my bed with me in the house. I actually had to cook for the both of them. but how in the hell am I going to prove that? I realized over time that religion is a mental illness, it corrupts your thinking process, and if you are mentally ill to begin with, it just adds to the illness, think about it, religion is involved in many murders and serial killers in the past, and will continue to cause murder, rape, child molestation, and serial preditors until the government bans religion entirely.,
delia walin hi, it isn’t that way You’ve had a bad experience and I am deeply sorry about that 💔 But what I can tell you is it is all real, God is real, the devil and his demons are real. The spiritual world is real You have been controlled by religion your whole life and I understand why that will make you think it’s brainwashing and etc. but that shouldn’t bring you to the point where you don’t believe in God I know God, I know Jesus , He saved me from the spirits of self hatred, depression and suicide He is so real and He loves us so much You may not know him because you haven’t had a relationship with him, you just followed the religion and religion is meaningless without the relationship I want you to try it out, try seeking Jesus Christ and having a relationship with Him, tell Him everything, He’s real and He wants to be there for you God loves you, I hope you find Him, I will keep you in my prayers ❤️
@@UnraveledwithJoy im sorry you feel that way, I hate to tell you this but there is no god, and I can see you have the same mental problems all people do when religion comes into play, religion did not control me, it was an aspect in my life that I went along with because that was all I knew as a child, as an adult, I know the universe has always been here, we came after, the planets have always been here, no one can explain why or how, we just have to accept that. there is other life in this universe, we are not the only ones and never have been, no where in the "bible" does it say "he" created other life on other planets. so understand, no one can be that arrogant to believe we are the only living beings in a universe that is infinite., and if there was a "jesus" he was the first documented schizophrenic in history. remember, adam and eve were brother and sister, so that was incest.
@@2000nascarfan Delia, I am so sorry. On behalf of anyone who told you that you had to stay in that situation, I deeply apologize because that is not biblical, and whoever told you that clearly didn't understand the bible they were reading. There's so much to say, but i'll try to keep it short. God is the head of the husband, and the husband is to love his wife the way Christ loves the church. Christ loved the church so much that He literally sacrificed himself. The bible does say a wife is to submit to her husband, but (from my understanding) that is only true so long as her husband is submitting himself to God. God is love, so how could a loving God force anyone to be abused emotionally and physically like that for a decade. He simply wouldn't. I'm sorry that happened to you, but before you denounce Christ all together, I encourage you to keep seeking people who truly know and understand all of the Word and who don't just throw verses at you out of context. I know it's hard, and your angry and hurt and fed up with all of this 'religion', but Christ is not a religion, He's a person. Just ask Him to show himself to you one last time and mean it. He will do it. Best wishes, love
I came here to apologise firmly not only for my grammar but for my harsh comments on this video, I'd also like to say that I myself had recently left the JW community
I grew up as a JW and it's the best thing I ever experienced, a congregation of brotherly and sisterly love and there teachings are from the Bible. I only wish that I did not separate myself from Jehovah's teachings. Living in this world system is far more lawless than being a JW. Most of what she's saying is untrue. I'm not an active JW but I believe they are the closest too the true God. From my experience I prefer live by Jehovah's law, than a life of uncleanness.
Thank you for being real. In fact all these people that claimed they were once witnesses have never had completed hearts towards the true God. Most were disfellowship for wrong course. Instead of them to retuned to Jehovah they turned apostasy.
My car stalled on the side of the road and I noticed a young girl getting out of a car behind me. She walked up to me asking if I needed any help. I told her I had just called my husband and he would be here shortly. She asked if she could give me a magazine to read and I asked her what was it, when she said it was the watchtower I knew she was JW. I told her I was a Christian and didn't believe the same way she did. I said I believed that Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior, she said she believed in Jesus too and I said but I believe He is God. We did not continue this conversation, she just said have a good day and left. I often wondered if I should have said more to her.
I grew up in this religion. I left when I was 17. I am an only child, and my mother and all the friends that I had were all Jehovah's Witnesses. I have no friends no mother and no home to go back to. I am 27 now. I moved to another state and my life has improved drastically since I left. I can completely understand where she is coming from psychologically. Despite my professional and financial success as a person. I still have quite a bit of problems socially, with people and when I try to make friends or have relationship. I also have a lot of deep resentment, bitterness and anger, that despite all the phsychoterapist and eating disorders I have had from 13 up, I cant seem to shake it.
I sincerely hope that your life situations improves and that nothing but good comes your way. Your story touched me, my dear fellow human being. Believe in Jesus and have salvation assurance 1 john. 5, 13 : 13"I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God that you may know that you have eternal life." Salvation is a free gift and can not be worked for or be a reward : Ephesians 2, 8-9. 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast. Notice that he says " have been saved " and not will be in the future. All the absolute best to you, Ms Rae.
Ms. Rae I am very sorry for the tragedy that you have been through. But one common thing I have noticed with you and the lady in this vid is that you both made the choice to leave. Please dont take this wrong. No doubt youre family misses you. But obviously I wouldnt know why you dont have a family to return to after all only you know your own circumstances fully but remember also..JWs put the loving creator of this earth first in their lives, by living the way our God wants us live. And in order for us to be loyal to our God we cannot allow ourselves to be distracted or discouraged by ones who decide not to follow that same path. You do have a family to return to! Even if somehow it might not be your family in blood but there will always be the loving brothers and sisters in the organisation. My whole family died in a tragedy a long time ago but I can tell you once I found JWs I felt I had a family again and I wouldnt change it for 100 million bucks! If they hadnt knocked on my my door I would probably be in a worse situation than yours. Talk to God through prayer and tell him your worries and everything! He is powerful and can help you personally. Hope this helped :)
I believe you mean well but I am afraid that you are much worse off than Ms. Rae. "Jw´s put God first in their lives " you say but that is an absolute lie. Just take a critical look at pictures of the governing body and you will notice that at least 5 of them are severly obese, which testifies that they put food perversion, beverage perversion and lack of physical activity way ahead of God and willingly violate 1. Cointhians 6 . 19. They do not give a rat´s ass if they risk getting all sort of ilnness like Type 2 diabetes, prediabetic conditions, Acanthosis Nigricans, Atherosclerosis, Acute myocardial infarction, pulmonary embolism, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, metabolic syndrome, cerebrovascular insult, non alcoholic fatty liver disease, gout, hypertension, osteoarthritis, arthritis, chronic liver failure and even some cancers. Just to name a few. They, like all Jw´s practice selective obedience but lack the necessary self criticism to see it. They ALWAYS put empasis on sins that others commit but downplay the importance of their own sins. Trying to get other people to labour under heavy burdens which they do not even carry themselves. Basically it is a " do more " religious cult that hypocritically practices selective obedience. Based on a erroneous misconception of salvation. Members of the Watchtower never get any salvation assurance which God had planned for. The nagging natural feeling of doubt and " have I done enough and will Jehova accept me in the end ". Leave the Watchtower and it´s teachings and find a church that is based on Jesus Christ. Reject your own self righteousness and see your self as a guilty sinner in desperate need of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. Salvation is a FREE gift to a sinner who acknowledges his or her´s unrighteousness and leans on Christ´s righteousness instead. Salvation is a free gift and can not be worked for or be a reward : Ephesisans 2. 8-9 : 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast. Notice that he says " have been saved " and not will be in the future. Believe in Jesus and have salvation assurance 1 john. 5, 13 : 13"I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God that you may know that you have eternal life." Again notice. " know that you have eternal life". Be born again ( John 3 ) and become a member of God´s family. Before that has happened you have no true fellowship with God but only dead rules, regulations and spiritless religious mumbo jumbo that only saturates the ego. I sincerely hope tat God will open your spiritual eyes and lead you to a Christ based church, amen.
You take care too. Turn entirely to Christ who is underestimated in the Watchtower. Salvation is only through his sacrificial blood and is a free gift to all who will believe in Him. It is a FREE gift and can not be earned or achieved by any kind of strenuous living. Please consider that. Get the salvation happiness that Christ has planned for you.
I am blown away with how many thumbs down this video received. She is giving her very own personal life story in detail & who can disagree with her truth? I think this is one of the most powerful & miraculous stories I've ever heard. Bless her for boldly sharing her journey to the Truth with a smile. Extremely moving. Make more videos because OUR Lord is using you in a very loving way for his will to be done... Salvation 😊 God bless
My friend asked me to go with her to the Kingdom Hall to see what it was like. They spoke mostly about how much they disagreed with other faiths and didn't really say anything inspirational or mention our blessed Lord who died for us. I didn't feel like I was in a place of worship. There was no sacred ritual of any kind. I saw an Elder who looked familiar and realized he was a foreman at my job in a plastic factory. He had approached me and wanted me to meet him at the beach ... I was working the "graveyard shift" so I could be at home during the day to supervise my children. My husband worked days, so we took turns. It turned out that the Elder had a wife, who probably didn't know her husband was flirting with the women at his job. My friend said I should have told someone at the Kingdom Hall after I told her, so he would be "dismembershipped." That was the word she used. I said no, I am not going to do that. It will eventually come out in the wash, and it did. He and his wife were found to be "swingers." They were both "dismembershipped." I'm glad this video was made, so the truth can finally be out.
Catholics were same. Started to question in grade school. They wouldn't call on me anymore. But breaking point they said my Jewish friend was going to hell. Well that was end of my catholic belief. I wanted to question other faiths but it was discouraged. They were the chosen religion they said. Couldn't explain the cross upon asking, it said, hail king of the jews. All confusing to a young person with no answer to my questions. I Learned life is a journey, glad yours is getting better.
@Obayifa Batiste , she said disfellowshipped, but it was years ago and I got it wrong...but I didn't say dismembered, which I am well aware means having your limbs removed. Even though it wasn't the correct word, dismembershipped doesn't mean dismembered. Got it? If not, read again.
♡ As a former JW I was so tickled by the wording used💕It brought back memories of how I used to read to an elderly jw member when I was a little girl..She got a real kick out of it when I mistakingly read "the cat napped on the 'Satan' pillows" instead of correctly saying 'SATIN' Pillows! She couldnt stop laughing! Like we all use to say in the jw org...we are all imperfect! 😄
Joshua 1:9 - funny thing is I had no idea this was going on RUclips… had I known. But God has a way that is not what we would choose but yet glorified him and allows us to share with each other.
Nothing or no one too damaged for Jesus to restore. :-) Open your heart to Him, lay all your feelings at His feet, trust in Him, and call on Him to heal you and ignite that fire in your heart through the Holy Spirit. I am praying for you, dear Phindile. ♥️
Phindile Khumalo I’m so sorry you feel that way ! But if you were raised as a jw than I know you were taught how to pray correctly don’t give up it’s all in the Bible pour your heart out to Jehovah god ! I am not a jw but I enjoy when they come to my door , I know that’s exactly what Jesus and his chosen disciples did! I aways go to the pass over and I aways feel such a peaceful feeling I will pray for you all 🙏🙏🙏
larry johnston you can think what you want I know what a cult is and they can be terrible! Jw are nothing like that they believe what Bible says oh and now she wants to celebrate holloween well it’s satens favorite holiday and it’s not only jw who believe they ! Did god plan all these rediculous holidays do your research Jesus was not born on December 25th! Omg I don’t know what congregation she went to but they aways want to pray for you or anyone! Again you have the right to believe your way have a good day 🙏 I pray that this young woman is happy!
@@carmenrosario5574 we don't celebrate Halloween in my country. Very people actually even know what that is. I'm speaking my personal truth, it doesn't matter what congregation I went to. And it's none of your concern
What a beautiful uplifting testimony!! Keep it up Tina, you really blessed me, especially the part where the lady asked if she could pray for you. Very powerful exhortation.
Growing up a JW I was never able to express my true emotions. My feelings had to be the way 'Jehovah' feels. This was filtered through how the leaderswant you to behave and then how it is ffiltered through your family. You cant even like holidays in your heart. You cant get angry or express frustation or doubt about the religion or your parents or leaders. I grew up with a dark cloud over my head. Thank GOD I no longer have to feel the way God feels. My loving Father lets me be me. God adopts you and you glimpse His sublime personality of love, peace and goodness and it brings out the best in you. Jesus leads you,He doesnt force you, guilt you. The Spirit makes you KNOW you are a child of God.After 15 years ,I have come full circle and come to the real truth. The Watchtower is the most ironic religon on the planet!
JohnBee oh okay so we want to think independently we die? Okay tell me this was it because of your independence that brought u here or Satan planting many of his traps.
Congratulations for breaking the chains of Jehovah Witnesses. They are selfrighteous & narrow-minded. They knock on the doors of others but they don't want their doors to be knocked on.
Am happy for you, welcome to the light. Ask Holy spirit to help you in other areas you find difficult to understand in the bible and this new great relationship with christ.
You do know jesus did have 12 elders who went door to door spreading the word amongst the one whom will listen like today a pastor leads everybody which shouldn't be like that at all nor giving money as a offering
So sorry for all you've been through with losing your family, gaining them again, then losing them again. Sounds VERY painful. Glad you have support outside of JW folks. Thanks for sharing your experience. Thanks to whoever posted it. Interesting to know words and phrases that are sort of foreign to people of that faith system, like "God showed up for me" or "a relationship with God" or "Can I pray for you". That was news to me. Oh, also it was news to me about the 1914 generation thing. I wonder how that's going to play out for the future of their faith system.
Laura Peace Stafford You are rather blind..your eyes needs to be opened your church's keep lying to you If she listen to Jehovah she wouldn't have gotten pregnant
@@mecheallaadutwumwaa172 so lucky you're not at all judgemental! Read more than only WT propaganda. Steven Hassan might help you broaden your horizon.... He's a great writer. Just an advice.
I love Tina's point at about 10:40 about establishing a relationship. Asking what God is doing in their life, asking to pray for them. So crucial. I think those two pieces of advice are worth more than any 5 or 1000 step doctrinal disputation with another human being. Praise God for Tina's family!
I am a bible student with Jehovah`s Witnesses. I am new to the faith. My bad experiences have been with other denominations. I am sorry for your hurt Tina. There are good and bad in all faiths. I find peace there and our elders are very kind and compassionate to all. Jehovah is a God of love, he is love and I know he loves and cares for you and your family. I wish you happiness in your life.
Congratulation Truthdebate, congratulation for your courage for your own search for the truth, for your openness of mind and for your journey towards wisdom. You express a lot of courage and determination to survive and "going against the grain" not only against JW but for any obstacle that you faced in your life. May Peace be with you, Ciao, L
Thank you so much for sharing your story, so sincere and heartfelt! You speak so much truth of the JW mindset. I left at age 44, but would have much earlier if I had not been so afraid of losing my family and basically my only social network up until then. The most beautiful thing is experiencing true, unconditional love once you do break free! You don't learn that when you are in it, because, like you said, they are so hung up on doctrine and the "policing" of one another. You can't be yourself, much less get to know yourself, because you are not allowed to think for yourself! Anyway, glad to be free and thanks again!
rhondariffic At least your out. & you didn’t give your whole life like so many to that Anti-Christ Cult. We are blessed Halleluyah🙌 Oh if you think I’m being hard on them read Romans 1:16 in the New World Trans. then compare to a regular Gideon or KJV😌 Yeap Anti-Christ.
It’s crazy how they just make that announcement, “brother/sister so and so has been disfellowshipped.” And there’s just dead silence because everyone knows what they have to do.
My JW grandmother tried to convince me to convert when I was 13, I said no, she slapped me in a public restaurant and never spoke to me again because I was a heathen! I’m 65 now and seeing this vid helps me understand the abandonment somewhat. It’s still hurts tho. Thank you for sharing your awesome story!.

@michelbel58 thee must not have watched tinamarie’s video? Yet, thou replied with thy false prophesies of Jehovah’s rebuke, guilt infused lepers, the pitiful, thy unworthy for being guilty. So basically in English, you’re the Pure example of what she’s talking about and what was wrong with the Jehovah’s Witness clan. All you did was ignore everything she said in any emotion involved in it. But instead you just pasted a bunch of scripture as a comment. I remember having to endure hearing the psychobabble bullshit ass crap. What does it even mean who cares? All it is is a guilt inducing cult! Chapter Susan Kelly verse fuck off paragraph 69. Dear Lady I was also from Jehovah's Witness and I left too because I did feel something is not right and there must be more destiny in God's way for all people in this life. And it is about the destiny and life we should have it. I love you, in Jesus' Name and be blessed in Jesus' Name. With Love and Greetings Queline Raaths

Thank you for sharing, my brother and nieve are JW, I meet Jesús at 12 years old I studied with them before but even at that young age I knew something was wrong, I am a born again Christian for more than 40 years, Jesús show me His love and I prayed for my family so they can meet Jesús. they hardly talk to me, but I believe in a loving God, My faith is that even at end of their lives Jesús is going to shine in a way they are going to find Him.
Im a former jw and thank you for this video. I had my wife watch to help her understand what we went through as a jw. Much love to your family. Its funny we dont know eachother but its almost like we do because were survivers. Thank you again. God is good when you truly know him like we do.luv ya
I am sorry this is what unified us but thank you for the comment. It’s not easy. The hurt is real. Our Father gives us beauty from ashes and loves us very much. My prayers are with you.
The more of these cult escape videos I watch, the more I realize how similar my upbringing was. The shunning, bullying, guilting, shaming. I am a believer, I love Jesus, I love the church, and right now I'm learning what it means to be a believer without all this fluff. This list of must do and must not. My parents had a language barrier, so I wasn't allowed to have many English speaking friends, and they had to be Christians like us-that's so cultish! I also remember the shaming and shunning of members... I was a kid though. This was so powerful, thank you for sharing and helping me see Jesus a little more clearer ❤
My mother was single when she gave birth to me and we are Christians. When she met a man he was a Jehovah’s witness but he didn’t care because he loved her. Unfortunately we were treated different because of being outside the religion. My father was kicked out of the Kingdom Hall. It wasn’t pretty but he fell in love and your heart tells you.
Im a convert to LDS church i go because i get free genology I dont believe the church I still go to different churches to see my family. I will be laughing when i get ex communicated
I appreciate your testimony. A relationship with the Lord is what matters most. His children are scattered everywhere but our hearts are open to Him. We will hear all kinds of teachings. He will help us to know the right ones because when you are in a relationship with someone, you keep the communication lines open.
thank you for this. I too grew up as a he was disfellowshipped at 18/19 had a baby at 20 and was out in the world until around aged 42 until I found a church and grew a relationship with God. I appreciate what you say about not having to have it all figured out due to trying to understand bible truth and doctrine and erase what was there before. Thank you for helping to normalised this feeling and letting me know it's ok
I too was brought up in the JW organization but somehow always felt something was not right...so i mustered up the courage to leave at 25...it's bn 18 yrs...i am open to so many new perspectives...it feels free & amazing....the JWs are very headstrong & blinded in their belief...i pity them in a way as they feel they are the blessed lot to who have a hope to live forever...they r so naive & ignorant actually...but never want to open up to other aspects of knowledge...my relatives too boycotted me & never ever communicated with my daughter so apparently I lost all relations...but now i don't regret anything as i am in a better place...Blessed with a wide view of the world & the truths....the Actual Truths.
Sorry to hear about that, Jesus loves you and has a plan for your life. Satan goal is to destroy us.
You need to report that guy to authorities. Not too late.
Could happen regardless of religion
I’m so sorry that you experienced that. I hope you can find someone who is safe and trustworthy who you can talk to about this hard thing.
JWs approve of being raped, sex, etc. it’s horrible. I’m glad she left.
I was an elder, I left this org 12 years ago, I learned how to count on Christ, Jehua Meshiah, Jesus Christ. Never think of what you lost by leaving this org, think about the love you find in Christ.

Wow, Tina I am a Christian as well. I was never baptized into the Jehovah's Witnesses and my family joined later on. Overtime, they have rejected me and ridiculed my relying on Jesus Christ. They are becoming more distant everyday. My two-year-old niece is currently being taught to reject me. It is hurtful but because I have Jesus Christ I am not completely falling apart. I thank God that you came into the truth that relies on Christ Jesus and not by works. This is encouraging

@@fussbudgetstories Why do you Anti-Jehovah's witnesses troll's believe they're not Christians?
Are Jehovah’s Witnesses Christians?
Yes. We are Christians for the following reasons:
We try to follow closely the teachings and behavior of Jesus Christ.-1 Peter 2:21.
Hey, I help run a podcast called “the things you don’t hear in church” we’d love to interview you about your story!
Why I will not be a JW:
The following is my opinion based on my experience:
(I suppose they forgot that they are sinners too)
J's seek redemption, Z's who pay. That is the law, on our better days. Q bless!

This will also put you in tears, and will also be an eye opener to you, Modern-day apostates, you display characteristics similar to those of the Devil. Their mind may be poisoned by a critical attitude toward individuals in the congregations, Christian elders, or the Governing Body. Some apostates oppose the use of the divine name, Jehovah. They are not interested in learning about Jehovah or in serving him. Like their father, Satan, apostates target people of integrity. (John 8:44 Satan and those under his influence often mix lies with truths in an attempt to undermine our faith. (Acts 20:30) and from among you yourselves men will rise and speak twisted things to draw away the disciples after themselves. Apostates like yourself enjoy mocking others. (Ps. 123:4) The Bible warned that in the last days, there would be no shortage of ridiculers. (2 Pet. 3:3, 4) Like the sons-in-law of righteous Lot, some people today pay no attention to divine warnings. (Gen. 19:14) Many laugh at those who live by Bible principles. The ridiculers are motivated by “their own desires for ungodly things.” (Jude 7, 17, 18) If anyone who professes to serve God relies on his own ideas instead of adhering to the Bible and if his teaching does not ‘accord with godly devotion,’ thus failing to reflect the teacher’s devotion to God, he becomes “mentally diseased.” (1Ti 6:3, 4) also read Romans 1:28

I was born into a cult. My parents went to the meetings and I never felt okay. Even as a seven year old, I witnessed adultery. We left very quickly after that, but had nothing. We accepted Jesus into our hearts shortly after, but literally had to move to get out of the cult’s way. We left and found God. What a difference to be able to question things and let God prove how good he really is. 🙌🙌🙌

My son serves on the military, I'm waiting for one of them to say something to me about my flag, I won't be nice.
Good for you ! You keep that attitude. They’re wrong, you’re right and God Bless you for standing up for what you believe!
My grandparents were JW. When I stayed with them during the summers I had to go to the kingdom hall with them. I never felt right there. It wasn't the same loving feeling I got at other churches. I’m actually a Jehová witness and I’ll tell you why since we want to keep the kingdom call safe we wouldn’t put windows so no one would go inside and break in because it’s a special place

@@alexshatner3907 how do you know its not the other way around?

@@alexshatner3907 and many communities are different from jw's I can also say.

My other question is that if christ spill blood for many, why can't we do the same for others?
Luke 10:5-7 instructions us not to go door to door.... why do you jw's do it?
Jw's were not around in the first century as the first disciples to say they did what the first disciples did, but in the shunning. How can jw's get back to a lost brother If they're shunning him completely out? How is it that lost brothers can come back to the truth if brothers don't let them in? What must they do?
I was a JW for 27 years and have been out for 30 years. The literature says, "brothers, we would not want to engage in independent thinking." To me, that says it all.

Lol !!!!!
These are parents that were strict because of several old reasons. They had many reasons that made them act bad. No JW acts like this anymore.

Yes it is
I was "saved" when I was 19.

Another fellow leaned over to me and whispered, "We don't discuss CS Lewis here."
"Uh... why not? He's considered one of the greatest theologians of the 20th century."
"But he wasn't a Jehovah's Witness."
"...and...?"
They all grumbled and we moved on.

Thanks Tina. So inspiring to hear you speak. You have great faith and goodness, and God has blessed you. So agree about focussing on the walk and the relationship, and not trying to figure it all out. God loves all his children, and is patient and compassionate beyond what humans can comprehend.

This will also inspiring and an eye opener to you, Modern-day apostates, you display characteristics similar to those of the Devil. (2Co 11:3) For example, the Assyrians used half-truths and outright lies to discourage Jehovah’s people. (2Ch 32:10-15) Apostates use similar tactics today. How should we react to apostate teachings? Treat them as the poison they are! Never read them, reply to them, or repeat them. Be quick to detect information that is designed to raise doubts about Jehovah and his organization-and reject it!-Jude 3, 4. (Romans 16:17) Now I urge you, brothers, to keep your eye on those who create divisions and causes for stumbling contrary to the teaching that you have learned, and avoid them.
So glad to see someone that has broken free from that cult.
Theological cults are dangerous and numerous. Mor(m)ons Catholics Jehovah Witness to name a few. They all prey on the vulnerable.
IF Jesus existed, he did not inflict himself on his followers. Those who wanted to listen to him were free to do so; those who didn't were free to walk away.
+Jose 2006 .. How do Catholics prey on vulnerabl e? Do Catholics go door to door and pressure people to have a bible study and convert to Catholicism?.Do Catholics teach their members to shun former Catholics?Do Catholics punish their members if they research critical information of Catholics?Do Catholics pressure 9 year olds to make a life long contract to Catholic Church?Do Catholics teach that all non Catholics are evil?Does the Catholic Church not apologize and ask for forgiveness for wrongdoings? There is a reason why cult experts list JW's and Mormons as cults and why they dont list Catholics as a cult.

Thank you sister for your testimony.
There were NAILS (plural, John 20:25)
I know you've tried everything, because I can tell you are knowledgable. If you are on speaking terms, as why they don't believe JEHOVAH"S WITNESS (God's Testimony)
9 We accept human testimony, but God’s testimony is greater because it is the testimony of God,which he has given about his Son.

Explain john 20:17

Hi pretty
I’m glad it’s coming together for you and my hope is you are experiencing God’s love. I’m glad you are out of that cult.
This is exactly what my cousin did today, and we came across a very clear difference with KJV and NWT that I had to question what translation is this
This will also be an eye opener to you, Modern-day apostates, you display characteristics similar to those of the Devil.
We are not alone. I’m glad you have seen through the deception.
You have a gift for sharing and I would even say teaching the faith. You have a wonderful joy within you. Wishing you much love and strength in your faith journey.

Pretty much. Which is why most disf never come back
Mike Simpson Because it is a cover up.
I’m an ex JW too. God himself dragged me out of that.
let me explain to all those who still think there a such thing as a god, there is no such thing. all religions are cults, they all commit crimes, felonies, break the law in some way or another, so how can that represent any god? name one religious group (cult) that has not broken the law? I was a former JW myself, and during that time my husband had proceded to beat the shit out me for the past 10 years, when we got involved in this crazy shit, I went to the elders for help as to how to handle this within the bounds of the "bible" which I found out later was a book written by a psychopath, and they told me I had to stay with this demented bastard unless I could PROVE he had an affair with someone else. now mind you, he had been cheating on me for years, in my own house, in my bed with me in the house. I actually had to cook for the both of them. but how in the hell am I going to prove that? I realized over time that religion is a mental illness, it corrupts your thinking process, and if you are mentally ill to begin with, it just adds to the illness, think about it, religion is involved in many murders and serial killers in the past, and will continue to cause murder, rape, child molestation, and serial preditors until the government bans religion entirely.,
Aryalanae please tell me more about this
delia walin hi, it isn’t that way
You’ve had a bad experience and I am deeply sorry about that 💔
But what I can tell you is it is all real, God is real, the devil and his demons are real. The spiritual world is real
You have been controlled by religion your whole life and I understand why that will make you think it’s brainwashing and etc. but that shouldn’t bring you to the point where you don’t believe in God
I know God, I know Jesus , He saved me from the spirits of self hatred, depression and suicide
He is so real and He loves us so much
You may not know him because you haven’t had a relationship with him, you just followed the religion and religion is meaningless without the relationship
I want you to try it out, try seeking Jesus Christ and having a relationship with Him, tell Him everything, He’s real and He wants to be there for you
God loves you, I hope you find Him, I will keep you in my prayers ❤️
Jesus said no one cone to the father except through Him. He is the Way Truth and the Light. Knowing Jesus is the greatest gift
I am the way the truth and the life no one comes to the Father but by me. John 14:6

Knowing jesus is the way? How about following in his footsteps? I know its not easy but just knowing jesus is not the way, even demons know jesus.

Avicha'yil Tardieu I grew up Jehovahs Witness and still believe
I totally agree, and I am in the same position
Nice one😚
I bet if you called onto Jehovah and to Jesus, your questions will be answered on who is REAL. try it!
13"I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God that you may know that you have eternal life."
Salvation is a free gift and can not be worked for or be a reward : Ephesians 2, 8-9.
They do not give a rat´s ass if they risk getting all sort of ilnness like Type 2 diabetes, prediabetic conditions, Acanthosis Nigricans, Atherosclerosis, Acute myocardial infarction, pulmonary embolism,
chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, metabolic syndrome, cerebrovascular insult, non alcoholic fatty liver disease, gout, hypertension, osteoarthritis, arthritis, chronic liver failure and even some cancers.
Salvation is a free gift and can not be worked for or be a reward : Ephesisans 2. 8-9 :
8 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast.

Believe in Jesus and have salvation assurance 1 john. 5, 13 :
13"I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God that you may know that you have eternal life."
Again notice.
Samy Jacobsen Thank you for expressing your thoughts to me. I can never force you or especially judge you. Take care :) ♡

What a testimony. You’re path is right on and continue to believe by faith and your personal relationship with our Lord. Blessings
Thank you for your courage in sharing your testimony - so blessed and encouraged by it.
Joshua 1:9 - funny thing is I had no idea this was going on RUclips… had I known. But God has a way that is not what we would choose but yet glorified him and allows us to share with each other.

Wow great story! So happy you are free. I love that you have an amazing relationship with Christ.

Sounds like someone needs to come to terms with who and what God is. :)

The more of these cult escape videos I watch, the more I realize how similar my upbringing was. The shunning, bullying, guilting, shaming. I am a believer, I love Jesus, I love the church, and right now I'm learning what it means to be a believer without all this fluff. This list of must do and must not.
