I usually get out of the car, walk to the toilet, grab a coffee and walk back and in that time I've got more than enough charge to carry on. Also, I love the supercharger spaces being so wide compared to others in motorway services....less chance of door dings

Get a diesel and convert it to run on bio diesel that's actually the least harmful thing to the environment. E85 and electric vehicles are harmful to the environment. The Electric cars that have to produce in a factory new from stuff that all has to be sourced and properly desposed of when done. A bio diesel runs on old recycled motor oil and cooking oil and the cars you don't have to buy new you can convert an old diesel VW to do it.

@@lp9280 This is about road trips not daily driving. For daily driving you charge your car at home while sleeping. For road trips you need to eat food and go to the toilet anyways and by the time you've done that it has charged so these tips are only useful if your car is at a low percentage because you kept forgetting to charge your car lol.

On road trip I want to sigh-see the places I want to sigh-see, not be constrained by network of chargers and sigh-see different supercharger locations. It is dumb to defend the obvious issue with BEVs like this. Secondly, not many people can charge BEVs at home... Not sure about US, but in Europe I would say 60% can't and that goes to like 80% in the cities. So only minority can charge BEVs at home and that again isn't good defence. Simply said - charging times are the problem, just admit it, no need to excuse it. There are areas where BEVs are better, refuelling isn't one of them.

What is we invented some type of fluid, and we make an engine which runs on the fluid. So when the engine need more power we can quickly add the fluid. Oh and this fluid also makes a lovely sound when the engine uses it. Would be such a nice idea wouldn't it?

They are very nice cars and they cost alot but if you don't mind the body panels not being aligned correctly, sometimes the glass roof will blow off on highway speeds or the fun part when you go for a drive with your family on the highway and the steering wheel decide to detach completely from the car and now you cannot control the car. But at least it shows you where you need to stop and charge it and while charging you can play game or having a laugh when the car farts.

I miss nearly hour long charging. After 2021, my charge is usually finished when I come back from the restroom and also buy a coffee or snack. In 2019 I'd go inside a fast food place or even a restaurant and order food and eat it. usually I'd have to move the car just before I finish my meal.
For 500 km I only stop for 5 minutes to pi....no more....and by 700 km I stop 3 times, when I it need....the car run the distance without running out of energy....2023 all electric cars mist be the range of small European city cars.... VW Polo, Kia Rio, Ford Fiesta, Peugeot 208, Toyota Yaris, Hyundai I20, Renault Clio...als this cars run 700-800 km....and all designed as City cars...2023 all electric cars do this as minimum...battery? Since 1976 all car manufacturers has to research for an good battery not since Tesla do a electric car....where is the battery? They have do nothing..... nothing....
That depends on many factors, if your battery is low it will charge faster than if you're typing it up from 60 or 70 percent upwards. Also the rate of kw from the cable fluctuates wrote a lot. But on average 12 mins will get somewhere around 100 to 140 miles added

For me, it's kinda inconvenient cause I live in an apartment, there is charging station in the carpark, but that are reserved for the car sharing EV's. They have just announced they allow people to charge their own EV's, but the charging station charges as slow was hell (cuz the sharing cars are tiny Smart cars). Plus there's a gas station 2 mins from my house. Car prices now in my country are sky high. Owning a Tesla feels like a bad decision for me.
Or, and hear me out on this, how about a sort of magic flammable juice you can fill, I don't know a 'tank' in your car in a few minutes with. I know this sounds so unrealistic but think about how much shorter journeys would be!😁
Charging that doesn't take a few minutes to do can be a good thing :). Main negative imo is that you can get lost into doing something and if there's an idle fee then you'll pay more than you planned to.
Do not expect a 13 min change time. This is an unreasonable expectation. Most DC chargers take about 2 hours. Things are getting better but not quite this fast. At home with the trickle charge(comes with the car), it will take about 3 days. The Level 2 charger will take about 8 hours.
Finally a guy that owns a tesla said “my car” instead of “my tesla”
Next thing I want to hear is from macbook owners saying “my laptop” instead of “my macbook” to heal my soul…

The main problem isn’t what to do, but the fact the overall journey takes longer so you either have to leave earlier or you’ll be late.
Idk like if you are going to work, you will 100% make it there and back few times and you charge it over night so next day you have full batery.
