Enshrouded is hands down, one of the best games I’ve played in a long time, and I say this as a mid-fifties gamer.
Had Helldivers 2 (unequivocally GOTY) not come along a mere 2 weeks after the launch of Enshrouded I’d still be playing it more regularly than I do.
As it stands, I absolutely love to return to the world of Enshrouded. It’s beautiful, clever and deeply satisfying on many levels, the foremost of which is putting your stamp on the world by building your own unique base.
I would HIGHLY recommend playing this with a friend(s), it’s the most fun I’ve had in a world building co-op, and for the price they charge, you’ll be very hard pressed to get better value for your money.

A tip I rarely see for leveling is to kill Shroud Roots. There are a few of them that are guarded by a handful of lv5s that you can easily dispatch even very early on with a bit of préparation.

Your characters are separate from your map saves allowing you to take your character to different servers. Also levelling is tied more into quests and exploration than mob killing, once you figure that out its easier to level.
just FYI additional warning about this
refer to character quest bug,
once you create the world and first new character play with first story scene. that character will related to the main quest in that world
there is some bug that if you have character (A), and you create new world and new char (b). but play with char A instead. Sometimes char A bug with the quest that doesnt explore by char B
its not problem when play with friends like joining the another world. but found bug when you create new world and play with old character not the new one that got the first story scene.

Lol, ngl, saw the length of this vid and thought... this is probably going to be a negative video and I'm not gonna like it, buuuut pleasantly surprised. Gave me a chuckle and a smile. Completely agree on the pros and cons, I do however love this game so much.. some 350hrs into it, mostly solo in a hosted world for 2. (my partner isn't of the builder variety so his interest waned but looking forward to the upcoming stuff).
10/10, would watch more from you, great vid :) Also, you can come play with me if you want, got room for another on my duo now solo host LOL

What's your general genre of games do you usually play?
Well, my top 15 games mostly consist of open world games with very minimal to very hardcore RPG elements. But I can enjoy a nice short narrative or platformer as well at times.
I love this game. The only thing is, some of the locations/quests are really hard to find when on top of mountains for example. I wish they had a better way to find stuff easier and a lot of things aren’t explained without googling.

@@gamensanity Yeah, I played the demo, and then an "unofficial" early version and it has a lot of promise. Like you, I've been waiting to see how it goes, but it's definitely one to watch.
