The Elk head woman never actually physically harms any human character, every death is perpetrated by the humans sent mad with visions, of the Elk. I love that this lend the story a question of whether this was a shared delusion bought on by guilt.
Very good review. Thank you. The book has been recently published in Italy and I've just finished it and I mostly liked it. I think Dhenora didn't win the one on one, Victor, the cop, interrupted the game and she flee. but maybe the translation is incorrect.
You may be right! It's been a while since I've read it. I do remember she did some kind of crazy slam dunk before the game ended and she ran away. I'm glad you liked the review though!
