It's funny how Goldface's henchman just suggested to kill the hostage and he just casually replied that he has no sense of drama instead of being angry at him for stopping him or questioning on how he likes to do things in a "fun" way. Even the henchman's face was like "Well, If you say so." and even reminded him where did he stop counting when asked.
It doesn’t matter who could be a chief in the CCPD but The Flash is the best mentor for meta humans and heroes even better than Batman for his robins yeah I dare to say it
Batman is more trainer than mentor. He really shouldn't be followed, which is why i like the explanation given for the creation of each of the main robins.

Because not only will the explosion not be that good but the lightning will almost definitely look weird in front it. There's also no bloom, and motion blur. So you can definitely see the rush, and budget they had.

I miss the days of season 1-3 when the show actually made a bit of sense. The seasons after that felt like someone was making something random each time whereas with the first three seasons, there seemed to be a set goal at the end of it.

It would be cool if they made a separate storyline about Kramer, and in the future a series. Where she would not only learn to absorb powers, but then reproduce them from memory. Over time, this could make her very strong, but then the villains will come in handy not weak. And in the end, she would fall into the dimension of Dark Matter, where she would know the essence of the Source of all abilities.

flashtime takes a lot out of him, after using it hes slower and worn out, even if its just for a moment. thats why he struggles against devoe after using it

My one problem is this: Wasn't Barry shown back in like season 4 able to bust out of a meta-dampening cell to save Iris? He should be beyond having his abilities completely neutralized by a meta cuff. Perhaps slowed down a bit, but the cuff shouldn't be able to stop him anymore.
its a cuff that blocks meta abilities, much stronger than the cell, but easier to get out of if you really try, barry was able to use so much power in season 4 even the dampener couldnt block it, normally he couldnt do that.
Not just that. He should also be vibrating his entire face. She could definitely recognise the features of Barry. Since she just talked to him a few seconds ago.
When Barry runs in his super speed 3 minutes in the clip .u can see that the shelf is dropping faster then him and he's running at superspeed .what a shame 😔
I thought it was a bit random that they used Caitlin's dialogue in 8x01 as a flashback to motivate Barry instead of the Joe and Cecile dialogue that occurred at the beginning of this episode (and even stranger that they didn't film some scene of Iris saying the same dialogue. ).
What!! Bruh he once took hours to find a way to reverse a nuclear bomb explosion which had already exploded. he entered flash time and you could literally see the explosion moving at a snails pace. So he could theoretically just walk away like nothing had happened in the first place before the explosion even started happening.
barry should have been easily able to run away from the explosion without looking like its nearly touching him. in season 4 he was able to stop a nuke for a long time, albeit in flashtime, but even then, barry should have been able to use flashtime here.
this is the same man that couldn't run out to save everyone when the smoke grenade went off at the beginning of the episode. lol obviously cuz of plot, but it's just funny they would show these two scenes in the same episode. these inconsistencies however is what makes me keep watching this show 8 seasons deep i guess, unlike those that hopped off after season 3,4.
Dude he just got his speed back you would expect him to run at mach 27 when he took the CUFF DAMPNERS! The flipping speed force needs a certain amount of time especially a speedster to warm up He just got it back the second he took the cuffs off like he isn't always fast at anything especially DAMPENERS like this

And since it is now a possibility for metahumans to be police it would be safer to just bring cuffs for everyone and avoid surprises. Barry should have played good cop bad cop. He should have reassured her that she can do it, and when she doubts herself 10k times afterwards, then he replies, "ok nice isn't cutting it, how about some pressure?" He vibrates his hand inside her chest. "DO IT RIGHT NOW!!!!"
I don’t think fazing protects him from the heat that’d burn him but I’m not totally sure. Also fazing through the floor is slower than just running away.
I'm pretty sure that Barry could still get burned. Also he was running to save the day. Quicker to just run there instead of phasing. Also the first time we see Barry phasing he phases through a vehicle to get a bomb off him. Why didn't Thawne just ask him to start phasing and stand still. Would have helped Thawne fight against Barry in the future.
I'd love to see them show that part of his powers as well! In one of the comics, Barry is at Iron Heights investigating when he realizes that he's triggered a bomb that will go off, but instead of running, he sighs and just vibrates through the blast.

I thought it was a bit random that they used Caitlin's dialogue in 8x01 as a flashback to motivate Barry instead of the Joe and Cecile dialogue that occurred at the beginning of this episode (and even stranger that they didn't film some scene of Iris saying the same dialogue. ).

What!! Bruh he once took hours to find a way to reverse a nuclear bomb explosion which had already exploded. he entered flash time and you could literally see the explosion moving at a snails pace. So he could theoretically just walk away like nothing had happened in the first place before the explosion even started happening.
I think Barry could've just fazed through the floor like Shadow cat from The X-men movies.
barry should have been easily able to run away from the explosion without looking like its nearly touching him. in season 4 he was able to stop a nuke for a long time, albeit in flashtime, but even then, barry should have been able to use flashtime here.

lol obviously cuz of plot, but it's just funny they would show these two scenes in the same episode. these inconsistencies however is what makes me keep watching this show 8 seasons deep i guess, unlike those that hopped off after season 3,4.
Dude he just got his speed back you would expect him to run at mach 27 when he took the CUFF DAMPNERS! The flipping speed force needs a certain amount of time especially a speedster to warm up He just got it back the second he took the cuffs off like he isn't always fast at anything especially DAMPENERS like this
He did 'Enter flash time' in season 4, made reverse flash look like he was standing still in S7 so why did he have to run from this explosion??

The bracelet was dampening his powers. So he couldn't use his speed until it was physically off his wrist.

@@afrobuddy4801 the captain declared publicly to be a metahuman so he at least brought cuffs for her. And since it is now a possibility for metahumans to be police it would be safer to just bring cuffs for everyone and avoid surprises. It is actually a clever move that makes the episode watchable as it justify barry not being able to end everything instantly
Barry should have played good cop bad cop. He should have reassured her that she can do it, and when she doubts herself 10k times afterwards, then he replies, "ok nice isn't cutting it, how about some pressure?" He vibrates his hand inside her chest. "DO IT RIGHT NOW!!!!"

I don’t think fazing protects him from the heat that’d burn him but I’m not totally sure. Also fazing through the floor is slower than just running away.

I'm pretty sure that Barry could still get burned. Also he was running to save the day. Quicker to just run there instead of phasing. Also the first time we see Barry phasing he phases through a vehicle to get a bomb off him. Why didn't Thawne just ask him to start phasing and stand still. Would have helped Thawne fight against Barry in the future.
I'd love to see them show that part of his powers as well! In one of the comics, Barry is at Iron Heights investigating when he realizes that he's triggered a bomb that will go off, but instead of running, he sighs and just vibrates through the blast.
