Sonia Belmont is one of my favorite Belmonts and I would love for her to be recanonized. I always imagined it was Sonia's grave that Trevor is kneeling beside at the beginning of Castlevania III. I love these perfect Castlevania timeline videos! You've done an amazing job on all of them.

Finally it’s here and I love the kid Dracula segments. I can just imagine Death and Alucard panicking at the idea of Dracula finding out about it and I find it adorable.

Best part was that after 1 hour into the video, after such an intense exploration regarding the the Belmonts and Dracula, everything horrible they went through and what caused 2 best friends to turn on eachother for eternety, one representing everything that is good, and the other everything that is evil..... Too often have I seen fiction depict anger and negative emotions as something bad (think the old Jedi Order from Star Wars who were hell bent on suppressing any kind of emotional attachment, negative emotions etc.) The way I see it, and what typically also appears to be true according to my knowledge, negative emotions are something that can fuel you. The danger comes when you let said emotions take over, that's when for example someone like Dracula goes over the edge and becomes a villain, or Anakin Skywalker becoming Darth Vader. Sorrow and hatred aren't evil or even bad emotions, it's how you USE said emotions that truly counts. And in Leon's sake he used all of his sorrow and hatred to fuel his sense of justice, to let his inner darkness power his inner light in order to become the strongest he can possibly be when facing the night. This is one of those topics I have personally paid quite some thought to, hence the wall of text. Just hope it isn't too much, haha ^v^'

VerumRex Honestly, one of the very few problems Legends had was the story, and unfortunately it made it a bit bad. But overall, the game is very cool for a game for the game boy, and way better game than Adventure.
I would like Konami to make a new canon game set between Lament and Dracula's Curse, uniting the consepts from Kid Dracula and Legends. It would be Kid Dracula remake with more dark and serious tone typical for the franchise. At some point, Alucard encounters Sonia who has come to the castle to hunt Galamoth who she had mistaken for Dracula. First, they have a small talk similar one to the one between Soma and Julius near the end of Aria of Sorrow, and then they fight. Alucard defeats Sonia and convinces her he and his father are not evil, and that he'll defeat Galamoth. Sonia agrees to leave the castle for Alucard promising to assist Belmonts if Dracula turns against humanity. And like in AoS, beating the main game unlocks Sonia mode similar to Julius mode.
I dunno. I found it incredibly cheesy and forced at times. Excessive or out of place laughter, poorly fitting screams or death sounds, unneeded pauses mid sentence, extreme emphasis on single words... It could certainly use a new dub recording with better voice direction and translation/localization.

It makes sense to start with Leon Belmont as the first Belmont because it seems logical to me that Dracula's greatest enemy would be his closest friend

You somehow managed to have the Kid Dracula game fit into the overall Castlevania lore, so much so that I kinda want to see a reimagining of Kid Dracula, but with the monsters and bosses looking more, well, monsterous. Alucard fighting a giant demonic chicken...

I really wish that Konami would have put her in between Leon and Trevor like you put it here. It would have been a perfect fit without conflicting woth the timeline. Great job man. This is truly a great way to start off the month and I really enjoyed this, especially bringing in Sonia and even kid Dracula, to which I found hilarious. I look forward to the next part.
It didn’t I’m afraid and they messed up.🙁 The curse never happened which was supposed to happen after Trevor and Sypha and Grant and Alucard after they defeated Dracula, And when Alucard was raped and was almost killed by two hunters, He killed the people who tried to kill him and then impale them, But Lisa promised Alucard to not hate humans and if can’t live with them, Then at least do them no harm. And Hector was supposed to escape and which is how he met and fell in love with Rosaly before three years later, Issac soon made false accusations that Rosaly was a witch by selling apples that are poison and she died from the witch burnings as an innocent woman, And then this leads to the events of Curse of Darkness.
Yeah, as much as I enjoyed the rest of the Netflix series past Season 2, it definitely takes its own different path. I HATE how it nerfed Hector, though, he's MUCH cooler in the game and basically got turned into a weak little simp. I'd have much rather seen the show follow the timeline a little more closely as far as Hector's story went. I'm sure they could have worked Isaac's character into his original role as antagonist while being a very different version in the show. In short, if you love the series and want a good animated adaptation, watch Seasons 1 and 2 (and I do mean this in the original sense, since "Season 1" is the first four episodes, and Season 2 is everything else up to Dracula's defeat). If you want a different take past that part, keep watching past that. There's still plenty of good references and nods to the series, but it becomes a VERY different beast, and your mileage may vary.
at first i thought “wait Sonia was the first Belmont to defeat Dracula? not Trevor?!” but after going through it again i was like “oh wait, false alarm. she was the first to “fight” Dracula, but chose not to kill him in exchange for leaving her people alone.“ therefore Trevor is still considered the first Belmont who killed Dracula

Doom 2016 was in a way revealed to be after ultimate doom, doom 3 and it's sequel are not part of the main timeline, also if he does a doom one he needs to put Wolfenstein in it since it is part of the doom universe as well

For a 3D Action Adventurer game by a Japanese publisher on the PS2(that wasn’t Metal Gear Solid), Lament if Innocence had a pretty damn good English Dub. Especially Renaldo voice actor. He got HELLA into the role!

Great stuff. Now only if Konami made Castlevania Judgement into an actual Castlevania game and not a fighting game. I would've liked to see Dracula messing with the time rift (made something with alchemy using Galamoth's blood/powers that lets Dracula use time/reality magic) and Aeon trying to mend it by joining with Belmonts through different time eras. Like how Castlevania 3 was made with that "co-op" system.
Castlevania Symphony of the Night and Lament of Innocent were amazing inmusic, backgrounds levels and the atmosphere.Gems stored in many gamers collection.

This is a rollercoaster of tone: we start with a devout warrior’s apostasy and rejection of humanity to his son fighting giant chickens and Jason parodies to a bloody massacre and ending on a corrupt bishop and hired mercenaries LARPing as monks.
I really like the throne room theme from LOS2 and it fits quite well throughout your videos. Great series. I keep coming back to these videos, man. You knocked it out of the park.

I always viewed the "curse" on the whip more a fail safe rather than a curse. My reason is cause if anyone could just pick it up and use it they would. So I've always thought that leon subconsciously put a fail safe on the whip to ensure that only true descendants of his line could use it at 100% and not be harmed by it. Then later on with the Morrison's argo Johnathan it recognized that he had the spirit and will of the Belmont's. That's just what I always believed.
@@GamerThumbTV Thanks, I've got way more theories of my own like everyone else but my biggest clue is from the Chinese monhua (Chinese manga) where it shows leon and Sarah in the spirit plane as he makes the promise to her that he will defeat Walter and all related to him. She thanks him and says she loves him afterwards it shows him striking her down as her soul entered the whip. After that he's told that the whip now holds her soul and rage almost as if to say it was a living thing now that sought out the death of vampires. Again that's just from the Chinese manga not sure if to take canon or not I'll leave it up to everyone.
I like the creative literary freedom you used to bring Alucard being chased out of a town to Dracula’s story about how he slaughtered a bunch of merchants in Kronstadt for “disrespecting him”. I’m not sure that particular scene is meant to depict, because Dracula says before that flashback that he used to “Relish every detail of death”, which insinuated to me that it was before he met Lisa. However I like it anyway.
@@GamerThumbTV I’ve kind of been hyper fixated on both of your Castlevania playlists, lol. went through the entire 7y old one yesterday and currently in part 3 of the newer one 😅 I’ve seen the show for a few years now but every now and again when I come back and rewatch it, I get hungry for more. I’ve not played much of the games but as far as the story goes, Curse of Darkness following Hector and Isaac’s relationship following Hector’s betrayal is calling my name haha. Did you play all of these games yourself? It looks like it’s some good classic PS2 madness, some Devil May Cry and God of War influences.
Enjoying it even more the second time round. Can't wait to see the rest of it, gonna struggle to make streams due to the time difference but will try my best.

I love these embellished and expanded 'unified' timelines series since they are GREAT for fanfic lorebuilding and stuff like that. Plus you do a great job just running with it.... and sometimes it's just plain fun to go ham on an already exaggerated as hell long running as hell series as this. And honestly? I've seen the 'canon' Metal Gear Solid series timeline... which is pretty freaking over the top on its own. Keep it up!
I'm an old-school Castlevania fan and I've play the very first game to the very last and I am truly grateful for this video to help me piece together everything I know already know it helped me even more to fit things together because I noticed a lot of the games have a bunch of jumps between them and that's what I didn't like but thank you this is a really good video

You somehow managed to have the Kid Dracula game fit into the overall Castlevania lore, so much so that I kinda want to see a reimagining of Kid Dracula, but with the monsters and bosses looking more, well, monsterous. Alucard fighting a giant demonic chicken...
Those demon chickens are hella deadly, if The Legend of Zelda has taught me anything.

The curse never happened which was supposed to happen after Trevor and Sypha and Grant and Alucard after they defeated Dracula,
And when Alucard was raped and was almost killed by two hunters,
He killed the people who tried to kill him and then impale them,
But Lisa promised Alucard to not hate humans and if can’t live with them,
Then at least do them no harm.
And Hector was supposed to escape and which is how he met and fell in love with Rosaly before three years later,
Issac soon made false accusations that Rosaly was a witch by selling apples that are poison and she died from the witch burnings as an innocent woman,
And then this leads to the events of Curse of Darkness.
Yeah, as much as I enjoyed the rest of the Netflix series past Season 2, it definitely takes its own different path. I HATE how it nerfed Hector, though, he's MUCH cooler in the game and basically got turned into a weak little simp. I'd have much rather seen the show follow the timeline a little more closely as far as Hector's story went. I'm sure they could have worked Isaac's character into his original role as antagonist while being a very different version in the show.
In short, if you love the series and want a good animated adaptation, watch Seasons 1 and 2 (and I do mean this in the original sense, since "Season 1" is the first four episodes, and Season 2 is everything else up to Dracula's defeat). If you want a different take past that part, keep watching past that. There's still plenty of good references and nods to the series, but it becomes a VERY different beast, and your mileage may vary.
at first i thought “wait Sonia was the first Belmont to defeat Dracula? not Trevor?!” but after going through it again i was like “oh wait, false alarm. she was the first to “fight” Dracula, but chose not to kill him in exchange for leaving her people alone.“ therefore Trevor is still considered the first Belmont who killed Dracula
Trevor should always be considered the first to kill him. That's what makes him so legendary
wow I was skeptical going into this with including the "unofficial timeline" stuff and all, but damn it makes the timeline feel whole and complete. this is sweet and I'll for sure be watching the rest of it. amazing job!

Doom 2016 was in a way revealed to be after ultimate doom, doom 3 and it's sequel are not part of the main timeline, also if he does a doom one he needs to put Wolfenstein in it since it is part of the doom universe as well

Great stuff. Now only if Konami made Castlevania Judgement into an actual Castlevania game and not a fighting game. I would've liked to see Dracula messing with the time rift (made something with alchemy using Galamoth's blood/powers that lets Dracula use time/reality magic) and Aeon trying to mend it by joining with Belmonts through different time eras. Like how Castlevania 3 was made with that "co-op" system.

This is a rollercoaster of tone: we start with a devout warrior’s apostasy and rejection of humanity to his son fighting giant chickens and Jason parodies to a bloody massacre and ending on a corrupt bishop and hired mercenaries LARPing as monks.

I always viewed the "curse" on the whip more a fail safe rather than a curse. My reason is cause if anyone could just pick it up and use it they would. So I've always thought that leon subconsciously put a fail safe on the whip to ensure that only true descendants of his line could use it at 100% and not be harmed by it. Then later on with the Morrison's argo Johnathan it recognized that he had the spirit and will of the Belmont's. That's just what I always believed.
@@GamerThumbTV Thanks, I've got way more theories of my own like everyone else but my biggest clue is from the Chinese monhua (Chinese manga) where it shows leon and Sarah in the spirit plane as he makes the promise to her that he will defeat Walter and all related to him. She thanks him and says she loves him afterwards it shows him striking her down as her soul entered the whip. After that he's told that the whip now holds her soul and rage almost as if to say it was a living thing now that sought out the death of vampires. Again that's just from the Chinese manga not sure if to take canon or not I'll leave it up to everyone.
I like the creative literary freedom you used to bring Alucard being chased out of a town to Dracula’s story about how he slaughtered a bunch of merchants in Kronstadt for “disrespecting him”. I’m not sure that particular scene is meant to depict, because Dracula says before that flashback that he used to “Relish every detail of death”, which insinuated to me that it was before he met Lisa. However I like it anyway.

@@GamerThumbTV I’ve kind of been hyper fixated on both of your Castlevania playlists, lol. went through the entire 7y old one yesterday and currently in part 3 of the newer one 😅 I’ve seen the show for a few years now but every now and again when I come back and rewatch it, I get hungry for more. I’ve not played much of the games but as far as the story goes, Curse of Darkness following Hector and Isaac’s relationship following Hector’s betrayal is calling my name haha. Did you play all of these games yourself? It looks like it’s some good classic PS2 madness, some Devil May Cry and God of War influences.
Enjoying it even more the second time round. Can't wait to see the rest of it, gonna struggle to make streams due to the time difference but will try my best.
