Phily did a good job against him. But he has to be double teamed a lot of the time.
The double and triple teamed him the whole game. I saw maybe 1 or 2 one on one and Vita pushed him around.
Kelse held his own against Vita and I literally have this man’s jersey. Hate Philly but Jason is a HOF center no doubt and he’s routinely undersized
While it definitely looked like Vita got the better of Kelce, Kelce did keep in contained long enough to make sure his impact in the game was minimal.
I'm missing where he got the better of Kelce though besides legitimately 2 plays lol
@@YourBeastRoy he got some push back on Kelce a few times. He didn't quite beat him as Kelce was able to recover and ride the momentum in a different direction away from the play. But he was moving Kelce back more so than Kelce was moving him back. Even on the QB sneak Hurts wasn't getting much as much push behind Kelce compared to Landon Dickerson.
Vita also has a hurt pectoral and Kelce was holding most the game.

IDK what game you were watching. Vea had a few good plays but Kelce did his job better overall. Hence 200 yds rushing on offense a win for the eagles
@@Zen-vm5tc I didn't say he won the matchup. I said he was blowing him back. Which he was. However Kelce job is to simply anchor and leverage Vea someplace else. And it worked
Vea won a few snaps, but most of the game, the Eagles neutralized him. They usually blocked him with a guard and Kelce was there to help double team, depending on the play. Kelce also "walled off" Vea on some nice runs. He's very skilled at doing that.
Vea did get some push, but Kelce and others did a great job of anchoring to limit how far back they were pushed. I didn't see any plays where Vea blew up the pocket or drove anyone back into Hurts.
The best Vea play was when he tossed Kelce aside on the interception. Got the best of him there for sure.
Overall, I would say Kelce had a much better game than Vea, although by design, the center isn't going to be one-on-one with Vea for many snaps
@maskedman5657 I think that's a technique. Absorb and redirect the bull rush away from the play. Looking at the numbers, it appears Kelce did his job well.
