    Thanks for the clarification on the two regulator system. I was having a hard time finding out the real answer. I knew what I thought was right, but I was looking for a second opinion and you confirmed it. Thanks again.

      I think having the 22" would be helpful... I went back and forth trying to decide which one to get. The 17 works just fine, it would be nice to have just a LITTLE bit more space :)

      @@LivinginOurNow It's all a balance of size and portability. I liked the 17" the best before I installed the 22 in my camper. It is much easier to move around.

    A great video. Checking out the amazon items to order. Just bought a Blackstone and we bought the hose to plug into a larger propane bottle. But it would be sweet to just run off the RV since it already has the quick connect adapter to the propane.

      Not sure if your links are affiliate links, but I ordered both using the links.

      @LivinginOurNow  3 года назад +3

      Not affiliate links - we never got enough traction for Amazon to let us stay in the affiliate program... but that's awesome that you ordered the parts! It made it SO much easier to grill (griddle??)!!

    I bought one of these and I am not a fan. I have the single burner and it is just a pain to use. The only nice thing is it hooks to RV propane. The drip tray and burner more around if you store on it side, you have to put it back together every time. The grill does not work well as a grill and the griddle is just fair. I will sell you mine cheap

    We tried getting the hose the connect directly to the 30/20 pound tank to the black stone regulator. Was getting low flame. Was getting too much pressure to the regulator we think. Really want to connect directly to the tanks.

    • @LivinginOurNow
      @LivinginOurNow  3 года назад +1

      Aw, bummer! I think if we were full time I'd probably look at connecting directly to a separate tank, but using the TT's line works for what we need.

    Question please:
    I have a 2023 T@G XL Boondock camper, which has a rear propane connection. I want to get a portable Blackstone 17" griddle. The rear propane connector has an output of 10,000 BTU's, but the griddle operates at 12,500 BTU's.
    Will the griddle function correctly in this configuration? Will the the griddle get hot enough with a lower-rated propane BTU rating?
    Thanks in advance.
