You aren't wrong. The several months of fighting there have weakened every unit in the area. Truthfully it is a lot of mistakes on my part but for now the city is isolated. I've learned a lot in this playthrough and when I do start over again hopefully, I can prevent this from happening again.
This might be a good game but I refuse to get it simply because of the manual. I had War In The West and was shocked at the manual. 350 pages of meandering prose trying to describe the game system. Seriously the game isn't actually all that complicated. Boardgames of similar complexity can be explained in about 60 pages if they're written well. I looked at the manual for WITE 2 online and it was 500+ pages of the exact same style. Gary and his team really need to get his act together.
Yeah they just add to it making it even more complicated finding exact answers. Haven't tried the AI approach yet just do simple searches for specific words.
It appears from this that at the end of your turn, you're allowing Leningrad to be isolated. Can't understand why you would do such a thing.
