Actually it can. Well sort of. If you just close the index finger and thumb together, it will have a sound effect of the snap followed by the whooshing sound effect... The Infinity Gauntlet couldn't do that, but the Power Gauntlet can.

I feel like the two of them are both cool for different reasons. The infinity gauntlet looks a lot more regal, as if it were armor made for a king or ruler. That might have been Thanos’s choice or something. Meanwhile, Tony’s Iron Gauntlet was designed to be more functional than fashionable, with nanotechnology allowing anyone to wear the gauntlet

The fingers only lock because there is a switch on the front just underneath the mind stone and that allows you to put it in a position and if you switch it up then it doesn't lock. 😊

Right under the soul stone there is a little red block thing, and if you push it up the fingers will not lock. Push it down for display mode(where they lock)

There is a locking switch beneath the soul stone and on the power gauntlet you can snap the fingers the middle finger and thumb if you put them down for a few seconds it has its own noise.
There’s a switch under the mind stone (big yellow/orange one) that unlocks the fingers

the tightness on the pulleys are a detriment to my fingers(also kinda strange that the design choice of the lock is kinda a hassle)
The Iron Man Gauntlet one is my fav cause of the sound effects and it stands out and pops more too then the infinity gauntlet.

They do. If you press and hold the mind stone instead of moving the fingers to power it up, the lights stay on permanently until you move the fingers

Technically, they broke the Marvel rules of the infinity gauntlet in the marvel cinematic universe. In the marvel comics, the infinity stones and the gauntlet can only work in their own respective universes. Still, great movie though, and that gauntlet looks awesome! Congratulations Mr. Magnus!

What happens if you snap with both gauntlets on at the same time?
Does anyone have any issue with the battery compartment? The external large battery cover doesn't fit perfectly with my gauntlet,I try to click it in place but it doesn't stay fix in one of the corners...and if I wear it and turn it facing the ground with a little shake the cover falls off the gauntlet!
