- I'm tired of my floorboards being wet when I wash the car, and sucking on fumes when I drive it. It's time to put some new door seals in my old 1962 Pontiac Safari Station Wagon.
For less than $100 it really is worth the effort. Who wants to be afraid of the car getting a drizzle on it because you know the water will get in and rot your floorboards? In this video, I'm going to show you how I installed new door seals using the correct factory replacement weather strip and some 3M weather strip adhesive from any local parts store.
Seals purchased from Weather Strip Special. I really liked their site, easy to navigate and they had a BUNCH of seals for rare cars like mine that other sites didn't have.

3M adhesive was used. Their stuff is always top-notch, you can pick this, or the yellow flavor up at any local auto parts store.
