The single best video iv listened too on periodization as a whole. This eliminated a lot of confusion for me. Keep videos like this coming Josh! - you deserve more subs
Can you cover what trends and patterns you see with most of your lifters in regards to the big three? I know there’s the law of individual diffferences of course but could you make a video showing what your experiences have shown you tend to work on those three lifts? Like a video on what you’ve found anecdotally helps a lot of peoples squat, another video on what you’ve observed helps peoples deadlift, and a last video on the bench press. I think that would help a lot of people in regards to training. Thank you for the awesome content Josh.
Brilliant Josh thanks o personally need to know my numbers simply because I am far to aggressive then I always end up breaking down so I find very hard to hold back but I am getting there
Good Video Josh. I had a number of nagging injuries because I was pushing too hard for a long time. The periodization help you to recover and get better results in long run
I really appriciate the way you share your knowledge/expirience. Great content, simplified and usefull. Thanks man! Just read the off-season powerlifting program and gonna do this for the next few weeks. Will there be a follow up? Like a specialized full meet prep?
Hey Josh, great video as always. I’m curious on your thoughts about frequency. Seems like high frequency training is all the rage right now (3-4 squat and bench sessions/wk, maybe slightly less for deadlift), while most of your programs have lower frequency than that (1-2 times/wk). I know you do have some higher frequency programs too, e.g. the body part specialization programs in Tijuana Barbell Club. Love hearing any insight you have into high/low frequency for strength and hypertrophy!
Thank you for the knowledge!! You are doing great with these videos and to be honest I prefer the no bullshit straight to the point attitude. Maybe next time give us some ideas about conditioning for strength athletes (mainly powerlifters).Have a nice day!
