Dalvey Parish Council/Municipal Corperation is the Largest Labour Party Garrison in Jamaica (Not Even Tivoli No Powerful to Labour Party) like Dalvey Division. The Councillor has been in Power for 17 Years; for the last 4 years, Dalvey put in place, a JLP Councillor, JLP MP and JLP Governmnet and the People of Dalvey are not receiving any service. The roads are bad because for the last 4 years, the Drains have not been properly clean during the 3 cleaning periods each year (1. April, for the May June Rainy Season; 2. August, for the September to November Rainy/Hurricane Season and 3. November to December for the Christmas Period). When the drains are not clean the Water flood waters the road and damage the roads.
Another issue for Dalvey is the unavailability of portable water runnning through the taps of homes, especially in Top House, Holland Town etc.; even though the residents are paying water bills to NWC. As far as I see the supply of water has been criminalized...vis-a-vis, water suppliers (Owners of water trucks and the employees of these truck owners) seem to be in collusion ensuring that water does not reach the homes, then NWC, turn around and pay these same water suppliers/truck operators to truck water to the homes - the trucking of water should be free to the homes, since they pay NWC Bills. However, many of the trucks are selling water to the citizens. It is alleged that 90% of the trucks are owned by Present Day Political Representatives. Again, the People, majority of Our Dalvey Divisional People are not interested in demanding that the Political Representatives work for Our Benefit.
It’s gonna take sometime to revive a Community that had been neglected for over 20years.Politicians should not be continuously re-elected if they fail to improve community infrastructure. #FiveStarGeneral
