Absolutely superb, an interview with Gary Pye awesome, and your pug in a puffer jacket looked more badass than some rappers in their music videos. Class once again, would love to see a video with Dai in 👍🙌
Nothing beats Centuries now, the Conoflex rods were awesome just as you say heavy, Nemesis Zeloso was a crazy powerful rod, diabolo awesome then the nemesis mk1's and slr's. I'm a big Eliminator and Tip Tornado fan (as well as most the other Centuries Gary mentioned)
Agree 100% , went to south west Scotland with him and he took me through a field full of cows and a bull, safe to say I went the long way around back to the van to avoid the animals 😂
Hi lads for the century guy ,, what would the best rod for mixed to extremely rough ground ( more leaning towards the heavy stuff) be in the century selection capable of up to 8 Oz of lead mostly using 6 to 7 Oz leads with rings for both multiplayer or fixed spool be and the price range mostly for summer and winter fishing around north east Scotland ,,I use a RT accelerator and Shimano Catania now and looking to upgrade I noticed that the century rods were pretty light compared but still very strong cheers
@@matthewflaherty643 what kind of tip does the ss have buddy,, have you seen or used any of the zulcron rods I've heard good things ,, and it's mostly cod fishing in heavy seas in winter always rough ground or really heavy ground or summer kelp jungle stuff so I'm need something with the back bone and not to sensitive in the tip and has that effortless quality for casting and hauling fishing over the snags but still plenty feeling in it aswell, cheers

Nice video Craig. Gary I here is coming to S. Wales in new year I hear, I would love to join you, and if you go up north, can I tag along please.
Can I ask what rod Gary was using? Looked nice and tippy.

T1000 will handle all that you’ve described there. But if your a big specimen hunter and fish very rough ground possibly T1200.
S.S best all round rough ground rod and I've had/tried 99% of them will land anything off our shores with ease

@@garyshears1947 he is a 100% genuine legend! & hell of an angler! 🎣
New century rods believe that when I see it properly be stiff as for casters only anyway
