hey steve, sascha here. i have to say this- this is one of the most enchanting pieces of music i have ever heard. honest to god. And all of that without any bombastic arrangements or computer-wankery, but with pure feeling. My deepest musical gratitude to you and Mr. Bullock.
This is the first time I've ever heard Steve Baughman or Robin Bullock. They are amazing! Flawless performance! I dream of playing this beautiful music! Thank you so much for posting these two guitar masters!
I believe it was Pablo Picasso who said: 'The only thing more beautiful that the sound of a guitar is the sound of two guitars." Quod erat demonstrandum
Thank you so much for posting this. If it weren't for one my online friends...I might never have discovered this. Such nice guitar playing, and....nice guitars, too...Thank You!
Love the sounds those finger picks gives to your guitars. add that the fantastic musicality and poetry of both your guitar playing (sorry for my bad English, I'm french 😜), this is simply delectable! Thank you for sharing this wonderful music.
It’s not that I hate fingerstyle. I just find it strange that there are far more 90%+ videos ot fingerstyle than flatpicking for Celtic trad dance tunes. Nope? 🤷🏻 I don’t know any fest-noz dancer that would dance on it. It’s beautiful and very well played though, and relaxing and joyful to listen. And where can I find a duo of Celtic trad guitars album? 1 flatpicking + 1 plectrum backing. Sláinte agaibh ;) Trugarez deoc’h
hey great playing. Love they way u play and i have some questions. 1. are u playing in DADGAD tuning? 2. Wich mode are u playing Myxolodian or Dorian? 3. I cant find the tabs of it could u send them to me maybe? greetz from switzerland
This is beautiful, but.... a bit mellow maybe? Dans keff is a traditional Breton danse that is pretty energetic, like jumping rope, one jump per second. I love dans keff and sometimes take a few steps in my kitchen when I am homesick or really annoyed - best calming therapy. For some reason, I cannot danse it on this music, something is making me lose the rhythm. Is it played slower than the original version? Just for comparison, here is a version by the Bagad fo Vannes. Granted the bagpipes bombards and drums help bringing some energy, on their version I have no problem dancing. ruclips.net/video/PMwmrs-vB-8/видео.html

Nothing is done to promote this kind of music and high level artists protect their know how !

+Jeff Davis hi, sorry, no transcription yet. Thanks for the interest. My part is in cfcgcd tuning. I am the one in green playing the melody.
Jeff, I guess I misspoke, my notes above say there is a transcription available at my website. Sorry :-)
Correction: CFCGCD
Sure, you can use the musik, but please only for non-commercial videos, like your kite work videos. Danke zehr.

Whats the tune called
@steve1banjo I think i'd like to play this piece with a friend but the second voice is not available, is it?
To me, the tune of the first guitar looks like CFCGCD.
Who made Steve's guitar?
That was 23h57m09s too short. but it was sweet while it lasted.

DADGAD ?
no shit sherlock xD
I saw the marijuana leaf on the guitar neck and turned them off.
Hey, Mr. Potter. Thousands of notes, and your experiences is ruined by the fifth fret inlay...... Do you struggle with closed-mindedness issues? 🙂
Won't be watching any more of their videos.
Smoke weed everyday!
Out of tune, time and lacked passion..otherwise not bad dudes...
