Yes @intellijel Black Panels please! Its the only module that is not black in my system 😁 Anyway great video and love the way you used it, very inspiring. Its such a nice and unique filter
This channel deserves much more subs! This is one of the best demo i have ever seen. Because you show us how you actually (i mean sample pack) use it rather then just making non-sense jam with bunch of modules. Thank you for the demo, i hope we will see more videos of you in the future :)
Nice video! I was on the fence on this but after the vid Ive put an offer on one. Nice to see a softer side of it as a lot of the demos have insane drive on them:) Seams to have a sweeter side too!
Definitely one of my favorite filters for its versatility! Being a dual filter it’s a little larger obviously, but I think it’s worth it in a reasonable sized system!
My Korgasmatron is my favorite oscillator and has been for a long time. I am jonesing for a second complex oscillator, but I think it would be better for me to get another... an updated Korgasmatron. A Morgasmatron as the kids all say. Such a great drum module too.
Regarding noise for the snare: Try feeding the absolute value of the output back into the input in modes BP, HP1 or HP2. It makes various LOUD, noisy sounds in the Softube Modular version of Korgasmatron 2, and I'm curious if it works in the hardware.
comming n the mail today oh it will such a great compliment to my Doepfer 106 S.e.m filter, and my Wasp Vintage, the third and Final was the Korg Ms20/type filter- How dope that it can Utilize its self oscilation?as a frikkin VCO, I have wanted this Peice since it was spelled with a K from a C when Dave Dixon got on board
I explore every modules in similar ways. I own the Korgasmatron II and with the expander it adds lots of control. Send back the audio output to VCA and send it back to different input of the module and you'll get freaky sounds I guarantee :D I like using along side the Optomix.
Thanks for watching! If I had to pick one for general use it’d be this Morgasmatron. BUT that resonance on the Dual Borg is rad for getting some interesting results, especially with a little verb behind it! Maybe I’ll try to post a vid with it soon!
that arpeggio bit sounds fantastic. great track all together ;) p.s. the intellijel looks sexy with contrasting black knobs you put on. are they the same as Noise Engineering ? thnx
Thank you! At the time they were the best I could find from adafruit.com, but now I know you can actually get the Noise Engineering knobs here: www.electro-smith.com/parts/noise-engineering-knob
Oh yeah, let me just run it through my unobtainable QMMG... Why not just keep the demo simple with like a VCO or a pair through the dual filter, with maybe some LFO action, but not effects processing and things like QMMG. It was hard enough to get my LPG I have. Anyway, nice video, just it could be simpler, and also, I don't understand this alternate faceplate craze. If I had a MN MMG, I'd leave it alone. Just sayin'. But to each their own. Nice video.
I make my videos more in an attempt to inspire than demo modules, so I would encourage you to worry less about specific extra modules I use. For example, while the QMMG is hard to get your hands on, the way I used it here could be accomplished with an Optomix as well which is readily available. As far as black panels, like you said, to each their own, and if you’re building your “own instrument” I find the customization to be fun aesthetically! Cheers!
Black panels eh? :P But seriously, great exploration of the module. Love videos like this!
Danjel van Tijn Thank you! Such a versatile and fun module! And I mean...I’d buy black panels ;)
+1 on black panels! My rainmaker and 1u stuff looks “off” next to all the black modules in my rig.
No....not blaaaaaaack!

Yes, seriously - you should definitely offer black panels.
well done! Fine sounds, very creative. I'm impressed
Great demo. Just ordered this module, cant wait to try it out.
Thanks! Hope it serves you well! Let me know if I can help otherwise
Really impressed with the drum samples you got out of the filter, and with the dual filter processing. Thanks for the demo!
Cool! Thanks for watching man! 🤙🏼 Fun to use some of these things in less expected ways and see what happens
Quality channel, great discovery.
Thank you for your support! 🤚🏼
I was wondering where you were headed... and then 3:11 happened and I was pleased.

For sure! Thanks a lot my friend! 🙌🏻

lol this is a really old video, but it made me like and subscribe. This filter rules!

great content and inspiring :)
Glad to hear! Thank you!
Really Cool video!!!)) Thank you 😊
Thanks for the kind words! 🙌🏻
First I thought: Hm, sounds nice but the sound is too clean for me. Then you activated overdrive and I was blown away. XD
This thing is wild man!
Hi, great demo. Since you also own the dual borg, which one do you prefer as a screaming ms-20 filter replica ?
Thanks for watching! If I had to pick one for general use it’d be this Morgasmatron. BUT that resonance on the Dual Borg is rad for getting some interesting results, especially with a little verb behind it! Maybe I’ll try to post a vid with it soon!
Is there compression in the piece at 6'?please?...and i dont thank you ;)...because of you i spend again a lot.....:(
Yeah after recording all the parts I used my usual compressor, EQ, and limiter before putting it in the video. Hope you enjoy the filter like I do! 🤙🏼
