Very nice animations. It is astonishing how differently the serious and mask-like faces of the old paintings change into familiar and pleasant persons when they smile friendly.
@@konkylie-3000 Yes agreed! I think some of the most shocking real footage can be seen from old clips showing First World War soldiers in calmer moments! Some of the troops clearly had dodgy dentists and the action of the day was simply extraction!!! 😬
These characters really seem to come to life when they move and appear to be talking to someone. You can get an appreciation for them as being once living, real people.
Love these videos! An Idea is that you make a video with the painted portrait of people still living today so we can see how accurate these videos are.
I am willing to overlook any minor imperfections ( if there were any , as I didn't go out of my way to trouble shoot ). This dare I say those nasty words, AI, production is so beautiful. The effects so positive on the observer. I could see the applications for creating personal memories of those dearly loved from your past like, grand parents or similar. Great presentation and great work everyone.
I love your channel and what you’re doing. That said, I have one remark. I don’t know if this is because of a lack of reference in your library, but the women often have very similar shaped noses and mouth that do not always correspond to the original portrait. It often make them look more beautiful than they actually are! Still, love your videos!
I really enjoy very much the work of making these historical figures back to life and in full color, however it puzzles me that they have perfectly aligned teeth, which looks a bit unreal.. but other that that, wonderful!!
This is amazing, I don't have a name in mind other than the austrian painter and stalin right now but I wonder if you can find a historical figure that was both painted and photographed and compare the result you get from the painting with the photo.
I always love to watch your videos, it's a great work. What always annoys me is that for me as a non native English speaker it's nearly impossible to read your texts in the beginning of each sequence. I'd be thankful if you could manage to have them a bit more time. Thank you so much for your efforts and please don't stop with this series.
i can honestly say i haven't seen anything likes these before. these ones moved their heads, talked like having conversations, seemed to be walking, moving their hands and arms. this was very eye opening. see AI can be used for good. in educational teachings. and in medical teachings. it ALL depends on who and how it's used.
These are cool but ai needs to take hygiene into affect of why they are not showing wide mouth smiles because of dental problems which would make these depictions more accurate.
It’s impressive until you realise that the actual shape of the nose has been “improved” in the Mary Queen of Scots one. Did they have nose jobs back then?!
After watching this entire incredible Historical Figures Brought to Life series, is it just me, or do the 1500s appear to have the best fashion of any century before or since??
Pocahontas's hands looked a little too old (she was only 21 / 22 years old) and a little too light compared to her face. Other than that this is great 👍. I loved Sir Walter, he looked amazing!
@@miriamhavard7621 mmm.... possibly, but not necessarily. At worse, her hands would be dry due to no creams or SPF....but I think youth would still be on her side. Even back then women had ways of looking after their skin.
Wow that’s so awesome well done I love it a lot 😁👍. And I bet the next one is going to have vlad Dracula in it. Anyways well done on that video and keep up the great work you’re doing 😁👍.
Can you turn these portrait animations into Metahuman Figures? Did you do it already, or something like it, as part of your process? I wish you and the rest of the Bring Photos To Life crowd would start doing this.
It was thought that it was impossible to revive the dead, here is this and the proof that they succeeded. Before long they will be able to make entire films with the real characters without actors.
These videos are incredible....but with Isabella of Portugal I have to say the painting looks different than the "living" Isabella! The eye area is somehow not right. or is that just how I see it???
love these though i do... i would like to see you do one of someone who's alive or recently dead from a painting or abstract photo, much like reconstruction experts on skulls from the past, they've never done it on living peoples 3D x-rays of them whilst alive so we can judge.. how true is this?
Would you be so kind doing King Willem 3 of the Netherlands, please? It would be cool to see him moving. He was a bit of a narcissist and a comical King. Also not very good for his family, but he loved his youngest daughter with all his heart, so I read. There are paintings and old photos of him on the internet. Thank you.
AI makes them all prettier than on the paintings. But in most cases they were painted prettier then they really were, because the artist wanted to keep his head.
Mary, Queen of Scots isn't as pale as she should be in that first clip!. Raleigh's hair has to be seen to be believed...a bit too much "product" in there...but as for James the 1st...I'm sure I've seen him in a band somewhere...looks like a rock star of old...would fit in perfectly to the local area nowadays...
You are the best at this. That said, I thought the one of Isabella of Portugal was off; the recreation was too pink skinned, less Mediterranean looking.
The grandson of Peter I is the son of his daughter Anna and Karl Friedrich of Holstein-Gottorp. The great-nephew of Charles XII is the grandson of his sister Hedviga Sophia.
On this channel the men are always good, but the women very rarely. They all look the same, always the same face, too modern, and their noses don't match. This is particularly true here for Mary Queen of Scots. She has a fine, pointed nose in the portrait, and in AI she's given a shorter, squarer nose, that's not at all faithful.
What do you mean by " too modern" ??? They were just like us. Maybe some had pock marks from surviving smallpox. But overall only their clothing was different. Well their aristocratic hand made clothing.
Very nice animations. It is astonishing how differently the serious and mask-like faces of the old paintings change into familiar and pleasant persons when they smile friendly.
Nice to see these characters from history smiling and talking! It makes them more human and people can identify with that a lot more. Great job!
And great teeth from those times
@@konkylie-3000 Yes agreed! I think some of the most shocking real footage can be seen from old clips showing First World War soldiers in calmer moments! Some of the troops clearly had dodgy dentists and the action of the day was simply extraction!!! 😬
Hopefully the immersion will make people actually learn history.
There are several channels doing this but this one is by far the best.
@@williamdouglass2926 so I agree,
I totally agree.
It is , They we’re once living breathing humans long gone. I love the music
These characters really seem to come to life when they move and appear to be talking to someone. You can get an appreciation for them as being once living, real people.
i don t agree
There is always something off@@Mayssoun3121
With all due respect, these were real people. I don't think it's appropriate to call them characters.
Love these videos! An Idea is that you make a video with the painted portrait of people still living today so we can see how accurate these videos are.
Yes, good idea..
I said that same thing to my friend a few days ago. Paint a picture of a person living currently, let AI make it look realistic and then compare.
Love this series. I can watch this all day.
This is the best A.I. Very different from the others. You do a really great job. Thanks for sharing.
After asking, looks like exploring your channel, I found more historical figures. These are amazing and makes these people so human. WELL DONE!
Sir Walter and...earrings for men back in style.
Nothing really changes.
Change his clothes and he is a 2025 hipster.
Never trust a man with earrings

i find these videos so melancholic whilst giving a human face to these major historical figures, A.I. wins on this one.

I really enjoy seeing these people brought to life, especially when they speak or change expression.
Love this one! Pocahontas was such a beautiful woman, but had a sad life at the end. Sappho looked splendid.
you are the best making these AI animated images!!!!congratulations!!!
Love the work. Please include the conquistador Francisco Pizarro and the last Inca Emperor Atahualpa.
Excellent video. I look at AI as another Graphic Arts Format. I think it is great when it's put to use like this❤
Interesting 😊
what ai program is this? love it
Very good animations
This is amazing, I don't have a name in mind other than the austrian painter and stalin right now but I wonder if you can find a historical figure that was both painted and photographed and compare the result you get from the painting with the photo.
WOW! It's like going back in time. Amazing!
I love the videos! What an excellent job! I also love the music ❤
Sir Walter Raleigh's teeth LoL Dude got veneers!
They all seem to have perfect teeth 😂
I don't think all these people had such beautiful teeth. But what you do is truly amazing!
I always love to watch your videos, it's a great work. Just pause the video. English is my language but I still pause it!
Good job like always
Love these especially when they laugh and talk it really makes them come to life. Can you do Hurrem please?
The AI moving images still make the those people look better, a bit too stylized, but the resemblance is undeniable. Great job
Wow! Seeing my distant relatives come back to life thru AI is amazing!
i love the music
I do too, it feels just right to go with the images 👍
@@Bing_Bong60 very much yes
Me too ❤
Pleasantly surprised to see Sappho. ❤❤❤❤❤
Absolutely amazing.
Excellent content. ☺️

Im curious to see king Charles II of Spain
Now I would swear that there is no way Pokahontas looked like that. Far too anglicized.
who knows maybe they will come back to life in the distant future.
03:22 real beauty
These videos are good but it's weird how the AI can hardly ever get the eye colours right
You got Sappho right.
Outstanding
You should do a video of all the Ptolmaic funerary portraits they're already very well done so would lend themselves to AI models I reckon
Again, thank you for the giggles.
Can you do one on General George Armstrong Custer? And maybe all the Presidents of the USA in the 19th Century?
Hubba hubba Mr. Raleigh.
Fantastic work!
It’s impressive until you realise that the actual shape of the nose has been “improved” in the Mary Queen of Scots one. Did they have nose jobs back then?!
Yes I have noticed that curved noses, especially on European faces, have been straightened out. An artifact of the program.
After watching this entire incredible Historical Figures Brought to Life series, is it just me, or do the 1500s appear to have the best fashion of any century before or since??
Eyes say something, Ai can't capture the moment of eyes and emotions that is showed by eyes
サッフォーはやはり美人ですね🥰 背景のレスボス島も地中海の気候を感じて良いです🌞
Pocahontas's hands looked a little too old (she was only 21 / 22 years old) and a little too light compared to her face. Other than that this is great 👍. I loved Sir Walter, he looked amazing!
Maybe her hands WOULD have looked old considering the lifestyle she led in America, no modern conveniences and such.
@@miriamhavard7621 mmm.... possibly, but not necessarily. At worse, her hands would be dry due to no creams or SPF....but I think youth would still be on her side. Even back then women had ways of looking after their skin.

Beethoven ? Mozart ? Schubert ? Anyway great work!! 😉
Both Mary of Scot’s and Mary the first were beautiful
Could you please do a sculpture called 'Dea of Butrint" Thank you kindly
I really enjoy this channel but although I am a fast reader I sometimes don’t have time to read the text before it disappears
Love watching these and will continue to do so but you gave Sappho 6 fingers in this video. Not complaining, just pointing out.
Charles v is the best, assuming the portrait is fairly accurate, he could look very similar in real life to the ai.
I AM SPEECHLESS.
Wow this is another level for me better than Ancestry to connect with distant relatives beautiful
The ai gives them lovely personalities, a little too modern even. I imagine them to have been more grumpy and stern
It was thought that it was impossible to revive the dead, here is this and the proof that they succeeded.

Ummm....Where's Elizabeth I? I thought with Mary Queen of Scots, Mary I, and Sir Walter Raleigh, she'd be in list.
Beautiful queen mary
Can you do JANE AUSTEN please 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Now this is a constructive/entertaining use of A.I. but, alas, I fear it will be used for nefarious purposes sooner than later.
Could you do Henry Bolingbrook aka Henry IV, John of Gaunt, and Edward III? And maybe Louis XIV as well?
I'd like to see Charles II of Spain recreated. He's the one with the Habsburg jaw from inbreeding.
Sappho was beautiful.
it wasn't native but the idea of content was great.
AI makes them all prettier than on the paintings. But in most cases they were painted prettier then they really were, because the artist wanted to keep his head.
James 1 of Scotland.....was Gandalf in his younger days
Gandalf was never young.
Very well done. Does anyone know the music piece, beautiful .
its like those portraits in harry potter that move and talk. how long until we can finally print gifs? i guess a digital image frame.

Can you do queen Victoria
Mary I, granddaughter of the Catholic kings of Spain. His portrait is in the Prado Museum in Madrid
NICE BUT MARY I OF ENGLAND HAD RED HAIR LIKE HER REDHEAD PARENTS HENRY VIII AND KATHERINE OF ARAGON
I have photos of my great grand, i want to make it alive with AI. How to do it?
Congratulations iii Congratulations iii 😊😊😊
Can you make ai from Relief borobudur tample
You are the best at this. That said, I thought the one of Isabella of Portugal was off; the recreation was too pink skinned, less Mediterranean looking.
Peter III was peter the great grandson
The grandson of Peter I is the son of his daughter Anna and Karl Friedrich of Holstein-Gottorp. The great-nephew of Charles XII is the grandson of his sister Hedviga Sophia.

Just what I’ve written. Great minds think alike!
Making ugly chicks hot. Classic ai.
...and far more beautiful than they were.
Get off your high horse! ITS NOT REAL! It’s just for fun! Go watch Blazing Saddles if you forgot what fun is!
What do you mean by " too modern" ???
They were just like us. Maybe some had pock marks from surviving smallpox. But overall only their clothing was different. Well their aristocratic hand made clothing.
Very well done. My only criticism is that their teeth were probably not as good as this.
look at any archaeology dig, the teeth are pretty good mostly, and I think they painted them
Not Pocahontas looking like Princess Catherine 🤣
Sir Walter Raleigh also introduced tobacco to the public and made smoking fashionable.
Это замечательно и очень интересно. Но вряд ли королева могла так улыбаться и разговаривать на каком нибудь обрыве🤔
La reina María de Escocia, mi favorita
Pocahontas didn't look very native American in either rendering.
