    Very nice animations. It is astonishing how differently the serious and mask-like faces of the old paintings change into familiar and pleasant persons when they smile friendly.

      @@konkylie-3000 Yes agreed! I think some of the most shocking real footage can be seen from old clips showing First World War soldiers in calmer moments! Some of the troops clearly had dodgy dentists and the action of the day was simply extraction!!! 😬

    These characters really seem to come to life when they move and appear to be talking to someone. You can get an appreciation for them as being once living, real people.

    Love these videos! An Idea is that you make a video with the painted portrait of people still living today so we can see how accurate these videos are.

      I said that same thing to my friend a few days ago. Paint a picture of a person living currently, let AI make it look realistic and then compare.

    I am willing to overlook any minor imperfections ( if there were any , as I didn't go out of my way to trouble shoot ). This dare I say those nasty words, AI, production is so beautiful. The effects so positive on the observer. I could see the applications for creating personal memories of those dearly loved from your past like, grand parents or similar. Great presentation and great work everyone.

    I love your channel and what you’re doing. That said, I have one remark. I don’t know if this is because of a lack of reference in your library, but the women often have very similar shaped noses and mouth that do not always correspond to the original portrait. It often make them look more beautiful than they actually are! Still, love your videos!

    I really enjoy very much the work of making these historical figures back to life and in full color, however it puzzles me that they have perfectly aligned teeth, which looks a bit unreal.. but other that that, wonderful!!

    Love this one! Pocahontas was such a beautiful woman, but had a sad life at the end. Sappho looked splendid.

    This is amazing, I don't have a name in mind other than the austrian painter and stalin right now but I wonder if you can find a historical figure that was both painted and photographed and compare the result you get from the painting with the photo.

    I always love to watch your videos, it's a great work. What always annoys me is that for me as a non native English speaker it's nearly impossible to read your texts in the beginning of each sequence.     i can honestly say i haven't seen anything likes these before. these ones moved their heads, talked like having conversations, seemed to be walking, moving their hands and arms. this was very eye opening. see AI can be used for good. in educational teachings. and in medical teachings. it ALL depends on who and how it's used.

    These are cool but ai needs to take hygiene into affect of why they are not showing wide mouth smiles because of dental problems which would make these depictions more accurate.

    It’s impressive until you realise that the actual shape of the nose has been “improved” in the Mary Queen of Scots one. Did they have nose jobs back then?!

      Yes I have noticed that curved noses, especially on European faces, have been straightened out. An artifact of the program.

    Pocahontas's hands looked a little too old (she was only 21 / 22 years old) and a little too light compared to her face. Other than that this is great 👍. I loved Sir Walter, he looked amazing!

    It was thought that it was impossible to revive the dead, here is this and the proof that they succeeded.

    love these though i do... i would like to see you do one of someone who's alive or recently dead from a painting or abstract photo, much like reconstruction experts on skulls from the past, they've never done it on living peoples 3D x-rays of them whilst alive so we can judge.. how true is this?

Also not very good for his family, but he loved his youngest daughter with all his heart, so I read. There are paintings and old photos of him on the internet. Thank you.

    AI makes them all prettier than on the paintings. But in most cases they were painted prettier then they really were, because the artist wanted to keep his head.

    Mary, Queen of Scots isn't as pale as she should be in that first clip!. Raleigh's hair has to be seen to be believed...a bit too much "product" in there...but as for James the 1st...I'm sure I've seen him in a band somewhere...looks like a rock star of old...would fit in perfectly to the local area nowadays...

    On this channel the men are always good, but the women very rarely. They all look the same, always the same face, too modern, and their noses don't match. This is particularly true here for Mary Queen of Scots. She has a fine, pointed nose in the portrait, and in AI she's given a shorter, squarer nose, that's not at all faithful.

      What do you mean by " too modern" ???
      They were just like us. Maybe some had pock marks from surviving smallpox. But overall only their clothing was different. Well their aristocratic hand made clothing.
