It has lasted through trials, tribulations and conflicts. Despite that, we are now married 47 years with 4 daughters and 7 grandchildren. Yes, we tragically lost an infant son. But we are truly blessed!

I cried...i miss my mom. She didn’t have a wake, she was sent straight to the cremation from the hospital because of the pandemic. She lived overseas for 11 years and we only spent almost less than 3mos together-and that was when she was already sick. Omg I am still crying! Mom didn’t even want to be cremated...she said that when she pass away, she wants all her loved ones to share memories about her before saying goodbye.
I’m so sorry for your loss. I may not have lost my parents, but I have lost a lot of my extended family. All I can say is that allowing yourself time to grieve is important.
So saddened to hear this - even made me cry a bit... So much harder to reach closure when you don't get to say goodbye properly. May you experience God's everlasting peace this Christmas.
Sorry for your lost but maybe on her first anniversary when things have calmed down you can have a wonderful memorial for her have her love one write memories and buried them with little messages and gifts or plant a tree and hang them from it, your mum would have understood about burial and need for cremation so don't beat yrself up about it, take time and heal yrself first, and in the nicest way of saying gave an awesome memorial for her!! 😘💓💔

This is a beautiful example of the goodness inside the hearts of people. This song is about a true heartfelt deep desire that the singer has to/for the listener whomever was intended, most likely a mother to a child, and is sung in such a near magical or reverent way that you can feel the depth of that emotion and desire for this wish to come true. It is sad this kind of purity and goodness becomes so easily twisted or manipulated in our day to day lives. I’ve read a quote saying that “the most profound and powerful ideals in our world are often expressed in singular words such as love trust and hope.” But this is a great embodiment of the near indescribable desire that is the basis of many of those words. I sang to this my cat Francie while I was holding her, after they gave her the initial injection. It was about 2 minutes but I know it calmed her and she knew how much I loved her at the end. She died from hyperthyroidism, which caused early kidney failure. It is three years ago now, but I still miss her.

I sang to this my cat Francie while I was holding her, after they gave her the initial injection. It was about 2 minutes but I know it calmed her and she knew how much I loved her at the end. She died from hyperthyroidism, which caused early kidney failure. It is three years ago now, but I still miss her.
Amazing. Remind me of my dreams of childhood. And some of them are reality. 🙂
