ICU Nurse Finds Relief After Occipital Nerve Decompression Surgery

This wonderful ICU nurse complained of severe headaches since she was in college. After seeing multiple neurologists in Colorado and Texas for her headaches, she had not found relief. After finding out about migraine headache surgery online, Rebecca reached out to us and had a consultation with Dr. Lowenstein for nerve blocks which provided her headache relief. Though she has nerve compression issues in the front and the back of her head, she chose to pursue nerve decompression at the occipital nerves first as the pain was worse here.
Following her occipital nerve decompression surgery for her severe headaches, her headache pain is significantly better and she tells us that she feels that she has "gotten her life back!"

I can really relate. I had decompression surgery 2 months ago. I had daily bouts of pain for the last 3 years. I now have some headache free days. I'm hoping the number of pain free days increase as time goes by. I am definitely heading in the right direction. I definitely would recommend people who have a long history of daily pain to look into this surgery. I too have been on many drugs and have had blocks. I look forward to gradually coming off the pain meds.
