Police get a call that there is an active shooter, in a school. They come in, see a man with a gun, and shoot them. This man was an armed teacher, and the shooter does not stand out, because several people have guns. So now the teachers job is even MORE dangerous. and the students are in serious danger. I love this girl, and she reminds me of us in the 70's, protesting to get change, and we did get it. She has guts and brains, and I think people are going to choose their children, over guns.

Except school shootings last about 3 minutes on average, it takes 5-8 minutes on average for police response and it would be called in by the time they got there. I guess her alternative is, nobody has a gun, and children continue to die the same way they have been. What a genius!

If anything, why can’t they use it for gun proofing windows & doors? At the very least, create a safe room/space within each classroom that’s impenetrable once locked.

It is tragic that the shooter felt that violence was the answer to his problems but are the conservatives really suggesting that the schools should have been given the resources to give the troubled individual proper counseling.
