The same pistol I bought my son for his first. He loves it. The only part I dont is putting it back together after tearing it down. Out of all we have this lil sucker is the hardest lol
@The1TheyCall2-Tone pickup an aftermarket captured recoil spring/guide rod. Can't use Walther's captured rod. I have 2 P22 with different recoil and they're not compatible.
@richmondcomputercompanyinc8054 I'm not aware of extended mags but there are companies like TandemKross and Taylor Tactical that make kits to expand your current mags.

I've had one of these for about 20 years. The reason the slide doesn't always go home when chambering a round from a fresh magazine is because if you slap the magazine into the pistol, the top round tilts up a little and won't always feed. What I do is be sure to push the top round down a bit before releasing the slide. It is a great little pistol.
This was my finding during testing, also. No lightweight pistol requires a slap to seat the mag. Just a simple push will do. Slapping the mag is a holdover from WW2 training with the M1-carbine and Colt 1911. Even with those, it's preferable to just seat it with the thumb. The military assumes that weapon will be worn out or destroyed in combat. We don't need to think that way.
@@raygarza6231 It's a good practice to learn. The .22 cartridge is a very cheaply made item, and rather delicate. Best not to increase the chances of damaging the one you might need. I keep my M&P .22 as a backup defense gun, and fully chambered - on Safe - at all times, so that first round is already in the pipe. The problem is that it is possible to deform the brass on any cartridge by slamming the mag home. If your chamber is a bit dirty from previous rounds, a deformation of just a few .000" inch can force a failure to feed. The chamber on all guns is bored to provide enough extra diameter to allow for the expansion moment that the brass experiences. That room makes it loose enough to extract normally. If the brass is force into the chamber , being say.004" out of round, the expansion may force the wider diameter to stick, either going in or coming out. I'm of the opinion after 40 years of shooting and reloading, that this is one of the overlooked issues with having the first round fail to feed upon release of the slide.
My wife got one of these but accidently ordered the P22 CA version. It worked okay for a while with Remington Golden Bullet, but then it developed problems with extraction and also light strikes in double action. I had sent it back to Walther twice with minimal improvement. I then bought an aftermarket extractor and took it to my gunsmith. He installed the new extractor/spring, polished the hammer, and contoured the mag follower to reduce slide and extraction drag. It now runs everything just fine. Not a huge fan of the p22 but my wife loves it and it eats everything like a champ
I bought mine 2019 and still working. I love the pistol especially when I have friends that I’m bringing to the range for the first time. It’s also a good pistol when you want to teach a beginner. It’s a great gun.
Bought the tungsten P22 CA in 2022. Changed Spring, hiviz sight. All kinds of problems. Ok, after 500 rounds breaking in. Love it ❤❤❤❤. Just bought a second P22 CA, militarily version. So much Fun with little P22 .❤❤
My Q model was more finicky breaking in than my regular p22 but once I got 4 to 5 hundred rds shot it eats everything I feed it including subsonics, it’s got a few thousand rds through it now and never had any problems with either model, just lots of fun
The Walther P22Q has always intrigued me as a fun plinking option, especially for its price point. It's good to see how it handles different ammo types-reliability can be hit or miss with .22 pistols, but it's impressive when a budget-friendly option performs well.
My friend ran out of ammo when we were shooting guns so I gave her my federal auto match to use. It jammed every round with that ammo. I use it in two rifles and it works great with them. 🤷
I have the first gen p22. It still shoots great after 2000 plus rounds of armscor high velocity. One time, a friend brought along a suppressor that was made by Walther. It worked well on remington high velocity ammo which my friend claimed to be subsonic. I never dry fire this pistol and I am not fond of rapid fire or mag dumping. An aquaintance of mine practices a lot of rapid firing with his p22 using stingers. A crack on the slide eventually appeared on his pistol. He was able to acquire a new slide but he has stopped mag dumping his p22. Great video Mixup!!
When mine cracked down through the ejection port on my early model, they replaced the slide with a new Q model slide , it looks a little beefier than the original! 👍
I purchased the P99 final edition, Walther. It is the exact same color scheme but doesn't have a safety. It is DA/SA with an amazing single action trigger and short reset trigger. I personally love the paddle magazine release. Takes a little bit to get used to, but it will break in with use. I needed to add grip tape due to the polymer body being slick to me. I think you'll enjoy that pistol.
The Walther looks alot like the Ruger SR22. My SR22 also has a threaded barrel. My Ruger functions with high velocity and subsonic ammo. Walther makes great firearms. Thanks!
Replaced the extractor with a Volquartsen…when they still made them and haven’t had an issue since. Going to replace the extractor in my matching g22 with one from tankermoss and see if that works as the extractor stopped working reliably years ago. Both are blowback so extractors are not super important.
I have that exact model. I bought it after regretting selling the last P22 I had. I put a few hundred different rounds of different brands through it with no problems at all. I am currently carrying it with Stingers as an EDC. Yes, a 22 as an EDC. I do have a 357 or a 12 gauge in my truck most of the time.
Great video as usual! If you haven’t yet, check out the Taurus TX-22 Compact. I got one a while back and it is an awesome shooter! For under 250, plus they had a rebate with three extra mags, it’s hard to beat!
Love mines too, i really wanted the Walther since i never had a hammer fired pistol, and I loved how small it was and the look, but i heard this gun could be finicky , so tx22 it is, couldn’t get on board with the ugly mark 4,
New outro I see. 👍 Definitely a nice gun for a pawnshop price. One thing I like to do with some new guns is use a cloth polish head on my dremel along with polishing compound and put a nice mirror surface on the feed ramp.
It's a "European Style" mag release, which I find to be more intuitive than the traditional style. Had two of the original P-22s (traded the first for the second). I carried the second as my CCW for a while. 22lr is controllable and, if placed properly, will stop any opponent.
My wife has one of these and actually loves shooting it. I do, too. The mag release is kind of It is kind of finicky on ammo, likes Minimags. You had much better luck with ammo. I did quite a bit of polishing to get the slide as smooth as possible and that has helped reliability. The mag release spring got bent right off the bat but got a new one and haven't had a problem since.
I was just shooting my Walther P22Q. I liked it well enough I picked up another one at one of the Big Box Black Friday week sales. The first one had a problem where the magazine disconnect didn’t know green was a magazine in the grip unless the magazine was pushed up. Found an old video on how to remove the spring on the disconnect now no problems. The magazine release to me is like the KelT P17s. Since I have short fingers I like em. Great little gun. Not sure which pistol I like better the Walther P22Q or the KelTec P17.
Just for fun I checked price at a local gun shop and it's $299.99 +tax here. I have a Sig Mosquito that I have launced MANY thousands of rounds of many brands of .22LR through without issue. It eats everything from Thunderbolt on up. Great little piece that's fun to run. Thanks Mixup!
When ever I have a problem with a 22 not wanting to feed I use stingers usually makes em straighten out enjoyed the video hope you and family have a great Christmas
Academy has the stainless version on sale right now for $199 I picked one up a couple weeks ago then the sale went off but is back on now. Have yet to shoot mine but I did pretty much everything he did cleaned all the stock grease out lubed with my fav oil loaded and unloaded the mags and has been sitting with full mag for a week or two now.
Slide broke on mine shooting mini mags. They replaced the slide quickly with an older version, no problems. Trigger spring had to be replaced after several thousand rounds. They run pretty quiet with a can on. Been pleased with it, fun plinker.
I have the pk380 which looks and functions just like this gun, love the paddle release, it drops the magazine with no problem, and with hundreds of rounds fired, not one single failure.
I bought a nickel P22QD, the D being it has a decocker. You got a great price. I usually release the slide with the left hand overgrip and it never hangs up. Very few misfires usually with cheap bulk ammo never with mini mags
I have one of the originals, and it has always had a suppressor on it. I have heard folks saying the gun had reliability issues, but my particular one runs great with the can on it, which gives it a little more gas feeding back to the slide, which helps the function. About the only thing mine will not feed is the Colibri primer cartridges and the rat-shot rounds. Everything else I have tried, cycles with no issues.
My wife has a P22 but I didn't like the non-captive spring so I put in an after market captive spring and it was a little stiff to start but after about 100 rounds it shoots like butter.
Once again a great review. I have a Ruger 22/45 M4 Target and have issues. Gotten better when I replaced the magazine button on one mag. Testing it now. No luck on hollow points.....I saw the video you had regarding the Security Six models. My first one was I believe 1976 and then the 6 inch stainless around 85. I just turned 72 and let's say the eyes aren't what the used to be at the range. I still like iron sites. I guess I am too old to change.....funny now it seems my left eye is clearer than my right eye...you take about an adjustment at the range. I still both pistols and they are great. I give my first one to my son. Always enjoy your reviews and opinions. Be safe. Cleaning the 22/45 is a bear.
Sorry to hear about the problem with your Ruger 22/45. I had one years ago and it was very reliable and fun to shoot. Unfortunately the newer M4 models seem to be having some feeding issues. I'm 4 years younger than you and my eyes aren't what they used to be either. It's funny how my left eye is also clearer than my right eye 😟 Stay safe my friend and have a great weekend.
The hammer block lets you drop the trigger safely to DA when the safety is on, so if you wanted to carry one of these, then, this would be a good way to do it;
I also just got mine from a Black Friday sale and I love it. If my hand was any bigger the grip with the mag would be too small but it is incredibly comfortable
I bought a used P22. That was back in the S&W distribution days. Who knows how the previous owner treated it. Something happened in the trigger. Called Walther support at their Arkansas plant. They sent me a shipping label with instructions, no charge. It was back in something like 10 days, working perfectly. Great support, even though second hand.
A few years ago I also sent a secondhand pistol back to Walther and they replaced the barrel, free of charge, and I had it back in ten days. Walther customer service is excellent!
I have a black Friday buy on the way to me as well. But mine is a 32ACP and rhymes with Smaretta. ha ha ha - a Covert black 3032. I'm looking forward to getting it. Thanks for sharing your new tool there.
I don't know why your mag release is stiff. I've had a P22 for a while now. Mine is the 5 inch barrell version. It had lots of grit in the action and had to be cleaned up. Your mag release may need some smoothing out and breaking in. My mag release is smooth and easy.
I have a two tone silver and black one. Mine is ok, don’t think it’s as reliable as a the Ruger SR22, and the ergos aren’t quite as good as the Ruger to me. I need to put a lot more rounds through mine.
That was one of the coolest shaving cream shots yet, Mixup. I like the Walther, and it seemed to have functioned nicely for you. I’m into the Glock 44’s, but have yet to shoot one. My S&W Victory has been a great 22lr pistol, functioning perfectly the whole time I’ve owned it. There’s something really fun about shooting 22lr pistols, and it doesn’t hurt the wallet too much either. I hope you & your family are doing well, and thanks for another great video! - Jason/Freedom Fighter Until Death/Vermont, FRA (‘FRA’, meaning “The Failed Republic Of America”)
My Walther P22 doesn't reliably feed standard velocity ammo of any brand. It demands hot ammo such as CCI Mini-Mag. I find that unacceptable. I'll have to try the Q. I do like the paddle mag release though.
I have one, same color. Feels great in the hand. Oddly my magazine release is light, very positive and inherently ambidextrous. Nice that the barrel is threaded but they failed to include an extender to actually thread my suppressor onto. The Taurus TX has this option as does the KelTec P17. The biggest downfall is disassembly for cleaning.. the lack of a captured return spring is annoying as hell. The Ruger SR 22 is a rip off of it and as usual, the Ruger rip off is slightly improved.. It's a little less picky about ammo, has a standard push button magazine release and an aftermarket captured return spring make cleaning a lot easier. These .22 semi auto pistols make good gifts to people interested in getting into the shooting sport. They're cheap, simple, easy to learn on, accurate enough to develop good habits and pretty forgiving mechanically.
If they made a kit to change the safety to a decocker I probably would have bought it. It’s a nice looking gun with good ergonomics. But a DA/SA with no decocker? Same reason I didn’t buy the PD380
I just remembered Mixup, when the first gen p22 came out, Walther also sold a .22 bullpup rifle at around twice the cost of a p.22. I have seen it in the store but I stayed away from it since I was never fond of bullpups. You might be able to come across this and maybe come across an old Walther KKJ in .22. The Walther KKJ was a great shooter that I sorely miss today. Have a great weekend Mixup!!
I'm not familiar with the Walter KKJ so I just googled it and it looks like a very fine bolt action rifle. I will keep my eyes open for one and we will see what happens. Thanks for the suggestion.
Hi Mixup!! The Walther KKJ came in .22 hornet, .22 magnum and also .22 lr. My Dad and his brother were at one time dealers for Walther before the franchise was awarded to a bigger operation. Hope you find one. Have a great week Sir!!
I bought one second hand and lightly used many years ago (about 20 years or so). It has been a lot of fun and let me train several people. It let me arm relatives who, for one reason or another had recoil sensitivity or hand strength issues. A suggestion, if I may: Every now and then, especially if you notice sudden reliability issues, check the thread protector on the muzzle and the screw that goes under where the frame covers the barrel/barrel shroud. If I keep mine tight (wound up using lock-tite on the frame screw) reliability is near 100%. Let that frame screw get just a little loose and it can get really annoying. I really enjoy mine. Like a mini P99 (sort of).
Got one for my brother and my sister in law as a wedding present. They’re not gun people, so I gave it to them just so they could have something. It’s a great little gun, but won’t run stingers or any of the longer cased .22lr ammo
My friend has this pistol. She ran out of ammo once so I gave her my Federal Auto Match to use and it jammed every round with that ammo. I have great luck with my two 22 rifles with Auto Match ammo but different guns like different ammo. Especially with 22 guns. I wish you had tried some Auto Match in this one lol. Great vid as always guy. 👍
i have two ruger sr22 pistols, which was patterned on the walther p22. i have happily put 20,000 rounds through my two sr22 pistols over the past ten years. the p22 feels good in the hand but i’m very happy with my rugers.
I like that final shot at the shaving cream and then after that the last seconds ! I been eyeballin the p22 not sure if they all are q or the military differances if any becides color
The Walther feels a little better in my hand, but I like the 16-round capacity of the Kel Tec P17. I will do a comparison video sometime in the future.
They have had good deals on this gun lately, but I wondered about the trigger. Looks good! Thank you as always for the great information and interesting videos. Always look forward to the next one! Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Solid video. I am a big fan of Walther's P series pistols. I had the PPQ22 and it was awesome. I like that one as it is a little smaller. The paddle mag release is different for sure, but when I got used to mine, I now prefer it over the button and would the paddle version on all if available.
I wish i could love mine but it has been a diva. I the hammer spring broke requiring a gunsmith to fix then the slide cracked! It loves the cheapo rem golden hollow ammo, aguila, and CCI hates federal ammo. Anything under 40 grain is jam-omatic
worse it broke on a first time shooter 2nd trip out after the hammer spring debacle they were so confused, I walked over looked at it amazed. Must be a fluke right? Slide cracks are not unheard of but on a newish gun with less than 1 k rnds less than a yr old that is unusual. Found out they use pot metal to make the slides and it is a known about problem they just consider acceptable well i don't. They send out a new slide but i am still mad. Also the recoil spring and guide rod are not a self contained captive part and it went flying the first time i took it apart skill issue but still it is not the 1970's anymore.
Just wondering..What's the slide made of? I guy I happened upon at a range brought his Walther .22 pistol over to me with a problem. The slide wouldn't move...I guess I looked like an "experienced" gun guy or something..Anyway, examining the slide, there was a crack in it can't remember exactly where, but it WAS near the ejection port...Gun was trashed..I did a little Googling and found that the Walther semi-auto pistols in .22 LR had slides made of pot metal and many people were having cracked slides.....?????
Mine did that also ! Sent it in and they replaced the slide with the new model with no questions! That’s when I knew that they had a lot of slides breaking ! 👍
My dad has a couple of them, including one bought used, abused, and fitted with the fake factory compensator. Walther fixed that one without charge under warranty despite my dad not being the original owner or registering the product. The other he bought new. I don’t think he’s fired either very much but he never conveyed having trouble with them. I’d like to get one of those or a S&W M&Pc .22. Anyway, I appreciate the review of this pistol. Incidentally, my TX22 had a few failures to feed despite cleaning and lube prior to shooting. But after 100 rounds or so, it now runs like a well oiled machine.
I own this exact gun. One thing that isn't so great about it is the mag release. You just can't drop the mag clean because the palm of you hand will always be in the way. One thing that I found though is if you change back strap it will be a little easier to take out and it will pop out a little cleaner. That and you won't notice any difference in the feel of the gun between the two back straps. So if you like the feel of the gun with the factory installed small back strap don't fear putting in the larger one.
I am interested in this example but want something that holds more than ten rounds. My Mark IV Target 22/45 holds ten rounds so i dont need another ten rounder 22lr plinker.
Glad you had no problems with the Thunderbolt Ammo. I will not buy it anymore. Last time i bought it I averaged 4 to 5 misfires per box and I had bought a brick of them. Didn’t matter what firearm i was shooting it in.
I've also had problems with Thunderbolt ammo in the past but six months ago I did a review on the ammo and it ran flawlessly through 7 different firearms, which surprised the hell out of me. The quality of Thunderbolt ammo has greatly improved since the end of the pandemic.
I bought the same model last year. Same issue with the mag release. Tight. Took it apart, cleaned it, lube it , same thing. Polished the mag lips, seemed to help a bit, but not the same like my other P22s.
My first p22 was the same color as him and just shoot cci , Remington golden bullet and tunder bullet and miss load or eject with fedral and Winchester ammo then had crack slide where is the slide catch is it send it to walther and they replace slide and i sold it then i bought anther one at beginning was okay but then start not ejecting properly sometimes i send it back and they said extractor spring was weak and they replaced it and then gun start shooting okay again but soon after i saw crack slide the same place as my first one which again i send it back and they replaced slide for me so far is shooting good but i see weak point on slide where is cracked on my two p22 and i believing will happen again pry soon.
What is your favorite shooting 22 LR pistol? For me with just open sights is the S&W 22 compact and with a dot, it's the Taurus TX22. Both are extremely reliable and fun. Enjoy your videos as always!
@@mixup98 Nice, I run a dot on mine and it is so fun. Thanks for your response, I've been enjoying you and your son shooting out west for years. Hope your family has a Merry Christmas.
mixup I have to agree I love the color combination on that pistol seems to be pretty reliable but I know I would have a fit with that magazine release so I have to agree with you there always good to see you. Take care out there. Hope you had a great Thanksgiving.
with a threaded barrel, suppressor, flashlight and frangible ammo, it would be a dandy home defense pistol. Perfect for apartment dwellers who don't want any accidental harm to their neighbors.
I have 2 and just ordered my 3rd one in the green color. Both my mag releases are flawless and smooth. Maybe because they are the CA model and not the Q. Either way I love both so far. First one I’ve had for about 4-5 years, second I just got this October in the Angel Blue for my daughter and the Military green was on sale for cyber Monday so I’m waiting for that to arrive at the FFL.
I have the same one but in gray. I got it a couple of years ago. I have mag extensions from tandem cross which give you 15 rounds. Great pistol! As long as you keep it clean it'll run. I normally use Aguila super extra ammo.
I've got an older model that doesn't have the captive recoil spring. Only ammo it seems to like is the CCI mini mags. Anything else with a longer premier case hangs up . Nice review!
Any .22 that shoots that many types of ammo without malfunctions has to be a winner and especially at that price. Nice video.

My P22 didn’t like Stingers until I put around 200 rounds and a good cleaning. Now it runs them good.
👍😎
Just for fun I checked price at a local gun shop and it's $299.99 +tax here. I have a Sig Mosquito that I have launced MANY thousands of rounds of many brands of .22LR through without issue. It eats everything from Thunderbolt on up. Great little piece that's fun to run. Thanks Mixup!
Sportsman Warehouse had them on sale last week $199
When ever I have a problem with a 22 not wanting to feed I use stingers usually makes em straighten out enjoyed the video hope you and family have a great Christmas
Academy has the stainless version on sale right now for $199 I picked one up a couple weeks ago then the sale went off but is back on now. Have yet to shoot mine but I did pretty much everything he did cleaned all the stock grease out lubed with my fav oil loaded and unloaded the mags and has been sitting with full mag for a week or two now.
That is a great price and a good time to pick one up! Don't forget to summit the rebate for your 200 rounds of free Federal Punch ammo.
Another good one...thanks mix !
You are very welcome, Roscoe 👍😎
Slide broke on mine shooting mini mags. They replaced the slide quickly with an older version, no problems. Trigger spring had to be replaced after several thousand rounds. They run pretty quiet with a can on. Been pleased with it, fun plinker.
I have one of those P22Q the grip is fantastic. It can be picky at ammo sometimes but shoots great.
I have the pk380 which looks and functions just like this gun, love the paddle release, it drops the magazine with no problem, and with hundreds of rounds fired, not one single failure.
My uncle picked up one of these, he was very excited about owning a walther. Seems like it handles a great range of ammo.
I bought a nickel P22QD, the D being it has a decocker. You got a great price. I usually release the slide with the left hand overgrip and it never hangs up. Very few misfires usually with cheap bulk ammo never with mini mags
I like that pistol! The only problems I could see are 1) the safety and 2) the magazine release. I can't believe the deal you got! That was awesome!
I have a regular P22 that I paid twice as much for. It likes hot ammo. This guy is a really good shot with such a small gun.
Thanks for watching my video and I appreciate the compliment.
I have the first model, the slide cracked down through the ejection port , sent it in and they replaced the slide with what looks like the Q slide !
I'm trying to decide whether to get a S&W Victory or this. My last 22 pistol, a Ruger Mark 4, was a jammamatic.
I have to say the outro to this video was really smooth
Loved the old curly tailed shaving cream!!!!!!
Nice looking pistol. Really appreciate your reviews.
I appreciate the feedback!
The hammer block lets you drop the trigger safely to DA when the safety is on, so if you wanted to carry one of these, then, this would be a good way to do it;
I also just got mine from a Black Friday sale and I love it.

My Walther P22 doesn't reliably feed standard velocity ammo of any brand. It demands hot ammo such as CCI Mini-Mag. I find that unacceptable. I'll have to try the Q.
I do like the paddle mag release though.
I bought this same 22 went yesterday to my shooting range I tried ammo that none of my 22 liked omg I tell you feed no problems at all my favorite now
That is great to hear. The P22 really is a great little pistol.
Older P22 pistols have a two-piece recoil spring assembly but current P22 Q pistols, mine included, have a captured recoil spring.
If they made a kit to change the safety to a decocker I probably would have bought it. It’s a nice looking gun with good ergonomics.
But a DA/SA with no decocker? Same reason I didn’t buy the PD380
Nice looking gun . Cool that it came with extras . But the mag release is why I bought the Taurus tx22 plus it came with 16 round mags
I had a older version of this. It was a jam-o-matic. Could not get it to run reliably. Let it go. Replaced it with a Ruger SR22. ❤️
Oh interesting, I hadn't realized these are hammer fired. I thought they were striker like the P99
I wonder if that mag release will loosen up. I have no trouble with dropping a mag with just my thumb.
The mag release has gotten a little easier to use and hopefully it will continue to improve over time.
I'm very happy with mine. Fun to shoot. No ammo issues.
Mine runs Auto Match like a champ so it's not a problem across the entire platform.
I have 3. Great pistol. Awesome suppressed. Not one malfunction..
i have two ruger sr22 pistols, which was patterned on the walther p22. i have happily put 20,000 rounds through my two sr22 pistols over the past ten years. the p22 feels good in the hand but i’m very happy with my rugers.
I'm loving the exit roll. Nice!
Thanks! 👍😎
I like that final shot at the shaving cream and then after that the last seconds ! I been eyeballin the p22 not sure if they all are q or the military differances if any becides color
How does that compare to the P17? Very good video, thanks for sharing
The Walther feels a little better in my hand, but I like the 16-round capacity of the Kel Tec P17. I will do a comparison video sometime in the future.
@@mixup98 Thank you
They have had good deals on this gun lately, but I wondered about the trigger.
Pretty sad when a 22LR developes a cracked frame...
worse it broke on a first time shooter 2nd trip out after the hammer spring debacle they were so confused, I walked over looked at it amazed.
I've had this pistol for a while and I love it. It does tend to need high grain ammo or it will sometimes not eject.
I already have 2 22 pistols. I do like the looks of this one. Always a possibility to add another.
have several walthers of different cals and years love them all
My dad has a couple of them, including one bought used, abused, and fitted with the fake factory compensator.
I love mine, had it for years and have probably about 3k rounds through it now? Maybe more? I've suppressed it too, I like it well enough
A decocker would've been nice, but it is what it is. From what I've seen, I'd say it's a pretty decent looking fun little plinker. 👍🏻
@mixup98 in all honesty this was years ago. Back when a brick was under $10.00.
@@ronaldbradley9949 👍😎
Hey mixup I have a Tx in this color combo and it is my favorite 22 pistol thanks for another great video and keep up the good work 👍
The TX22 is an excellent pistol and I love mine. I hope to pick up the TX22 Compact in the future and do a review on it.
@mixup98 I am thinking about buying one too especially if I can find it on sale 😁
Cool lil gun, glad to see it worked good with the different ammo.
I literally just picked up a P22q nickel from Bass pro on black Friday out the door $170 with club points here in Texas . I love it .
Pretty sweet. Always wanted to see a comparison video between this one and the Ruger SR22.
What is your favorite shooting 22 LR pistol? For me with just open sights is the S&W 22 compact and with a dot, it's the Taurus TX22. Both are extremely reliable and fun. Enjoy your videos as always!
I own a small handful of .22 pistols and I can say that the TX22 is probably my favorite. It is reliable, accurate and the mags hold 16 rounds. 👍😎
200 Doll Hairs........ Good Deal...... To the point review, looks like she liked about every ammo you fed her. Salute.
/// looks nice 🎉 but damn what's up with the 10 RDS 🤦. Regardless gd review 👍
Had serious issues with mine many years ago. I don't normally return firearms, but when I took it apart the rail was shredded.
with a threaded barrel, suppressor, flashlight and frangible ammo, it would be a dandy home defense pistol.
As a lefty I love the Walther Mag release. It works as well for me as you…lol.
I've got an older model that doesn't have the captive recoil spring. Only ammo it seems to like is the CCI mini mags. Anything else with a longer premier case hangs up . Nice review!
