I heard such good things about this model saw and being I’m in the tree care industry I managed to find 2 brand new 241’s. I’ve opened up the mufflers on many saws over the years but nothing has made such a Massive difference as the 241. I can tell by listening to this video you could open up the muffler factory exhaust opening even further. Mine really barks. Try using a dremel or a Foredomif you have one and open the hole up to even remove the straight slot where the spark arrester sits down into. You’ll be some impressed
I've been playing with this saw I bit lately. If you go back about 2 months in my videos there's one called 241 revisted or something like that. In that video I had open up the stock outlet as much as I can and advanced the ignition timing. Since that video I've also added a dual port. Need to make another video one of these days. Also did a 261 that I'll have videos on soon
Thanks man! She runs good. Not bad for being my wifes saw that shell probably never use. I always heard great things about the 261 but when I got one, I wasn't too impressed. Then I ran the 241 and I thought it seemed like the saw everyone told me the 261 was supposed to be
@@Leave_Nothing_Stock 🤣 I'm planing to get a 241 combined with an 462 for all purpose. I hope these two are a good pairing. Until now I have a 291 as you can see here ruclips.net/video/pZFSeAOtHmk/видео.html

Do you remember what your timing numbers were or what all you did to the cylinder?? Thank you
Shoot me a message on Instagram (same name)
The 2nd performs like an 261

@@moppedmann123 I'd probably go with the 500i over the 462. Not much heavier but a good bit more power. Also its sexier by a large margin
