He was my father! Always talked so highly of all the band and loved his job so much, he passed away this year unfortunately but would have loved to see this comment. Thank you x
I remember coming home from school, my 55 year old dad had taken the day off and was in the basement listening to my Ramones and Clash records in the basement!.
Los Ramones una de las mejores bandas de todos los tiempos y del universo entero. Una de mis bandas favoritas. Joey y Dede no han muerto simplemente regresaron a su planeta.
San Bernardio 1982 was one of the most well recored/filmed Ramones shows, hands down. The sound quality is amazing, picture quality is great, and the camera angles are all very nice. I wish concerts like The Rainbow in 1977 were this well documented.
I wish I was there! I remember my dad was a punk rocker and still is and told me stories of the R.A.M.O.N.E.S and albums and that is how I got into them. Forever a fan! GABBA GABBA HEY!
I Love that they Are so Funny! They are Like out of a Comic. I Like that.....i am not Laughing At them....I Laugh because of the Joy they Give me via their Looks, Attitude and Music. I am Glad the World has/had Bands like that.
I was 14 years old in 1977 and "Rock" was so boring that he had lost his "Roll". So, when I first heard punk sound on a trip to London, this primary and rebel sound brought us back to the quintessence of rock and roll. I was completely shaken and moved. Then I discovered the New York scene and the Ramones were one of my favorite bands. Today, they are at the R & R Hall of Fame. They deserve it.
this song rocks! So sorry I missed them when they came to TX. I'm glad the Ramones are remembered and valued. They never sold out or gave up. Too bad the originals are all gone. We could use them today! They began the year I finished high school 1974--I will always consider them to be part of my generation. Viva Ramones!
Absolutely phenomenal. For their first ten years, pretty much every freaking song the Ramones recorded was a damn catchy hit. So far ahead of their time, it's great and a shame at the same time. Been disbanded almost 20 years and they're bigger now by far than ever.
@@hedfonesprettythug827 yes, do you understand how influential this band is? They single-handedly cemented a whole genre of music and inspired countless bands and musicians to pick up instruments. They will be talked about until the end of time.
I have always loved this show. Great set and they sounded incredible. Great sound too from the sound guy. Great recording. But the thing tjat stands out the most from this show for me wad Dee Dee'a playing. He was super 'on' at this show. He was playing perfectly in time and super tight with Mark and Johnny. I don't think I can recall him ever being this consistent. It also helps that whoever did sound for this show and whoever recorded and mixed it did an absolutely amazing job. Nearly perfect.
Let's clarify....this is not just Ramones playing San Berdoo that one day in 1982, this was Day 3 of the famous "Us Festival"...the "New Wave / Punk" day. Never will forget it, everyone was great, Ramones were the best!

WOW 😳. Another reminder of how much I wish I could have seen them live. This band got me through 20 plus years of my life. I'm 35 and hate that I didn't get the chance to see them lol
This brings back memories! A few of my university buddies and me drove down from Vancouver Canada to party at this festival. They went for Van Halen and Scorpions..I went to see these guys..Eins Zwei Drei Fier....It was a dfifferent but better sound outdoors cause I had always seen them before in club settings. They truly were a feel good kick ass party with the chicks type of band...thanks for the memories RIP DeeDee, Joey & Johnny!
Brilliant version & tempo, superb sound quality, mix is perfect with guitar bass vocals and drums all equally audible. Marky in particular is on form here, doesnt get the credit he deserves. To be a drummer for Ramones required laser focus and a lot of stamina
I just does not get any better than that! My two year-old loves this version and makes me play it for him at night before bed. I am going to be in for it once he starts school.
Excellent audio & video quality. I saw the Ramones a lot in NYC during the 70's & 80's; this video brought back so many great memories. Thanks for sharing it!
This version of the song shows the Ramones being the amazing pop band they were, even if they weren't very successful in their time. The sunny weather, big crowd, and pop harmonies in this video help me imagine an alternate history where they got the recognition they deserved during their time.
This must be one of the best live versions of any of their songs and to quote Joni Mitchell "You don't know what you've got till it's gone!", which certainly holds true for the Ramones. It was only after their split up, and the untimely deaths of Joey, Johnny and Dee Dee that I started listening to them. When they were at their 'freshest' circa 1977 / 78 I was a 14 year old who thought he was mature because he listened to the likes of prog bands like Genesis. Dear Dear, what a waste.
A long long lifetime Ramones fan here , they have been with me like a disease 😂 first time I saw them live was at Cjs first ever show as a 16 year old , snuck in .....the best live version of brat ever 👌
Those lines that Dee Dee shouts, what are they? He used to be the lead singer and Joey was the drummer. After the others died, Dee Dee formed a band called The Remainz with his wife, Barbara Ramone and Marky.
God is this awesome. I’ve never heard Joey absolutely roar like this. I saw them two years after this and they stunk. Then a few years later with CJ and they were back in form.
Some mans are made by God to do you you guys are seeing, they bring energy e happiness to everyboby even after death and years out of stage...enjoy... I thanks God for this kind of art that exists...we can see that they born to do that...it was the destiny for those 4 guys....
THIS LIVE VERSION IS THE BEST ONE, EVEN BETTER THAN STUDIO
I agree, this sounds amazing, specially the chorus
It's true
Totally agree
I absolutely agree
No. Tempo too fast, takes away from the child-like simplicity inherent in the original studio recording.
I remember when I saw ramones live in 1996 and I thought, this is it, this is what rock n roll is all about
Joey gotta be one of the most in-tune singers in rock history. And the melodies with Dee Dee, beautiful.
He started using a flanger and chorus on his voice live and it hides mistakes. He's good though 🙂
🤦♀️
@@davemanone8071 👏
@@revwahfair A chorus doesn’t hide mistakes (???
What? The fact that he is not an in-tune singer is what makes him the greatest rock singer ever.
Thanks for translating "1,2,3,4...", never would have understood it in Spanish otherwise.
De nada capo. Gracias por el sarcasmo, pelotudo

This vocal performance is crazy good. Joey was the greatest.

Que rolón ,beat on the Brat, única canción en el mundo que duró meses poniéndola una y otra vez y no me aburre
