This reminds me of being inside the Imperial Star Destroyer “Vector” from the Star Wars novel Death Troopers, where the entire ship is infected of a virus and dies, and when a boarding party arrives they find the ship empty, with no sign of its 37,000 crew onboard. They wander the empty hallways, with lights flickering. It’s really ominous but I like it a lot.

Nix, my second, got himself on the wrong side of an airlock. Vacuum did a real good job on him. Wasn't much left when we got him aboard. Dumb way to go for an experienced fringer. It was even worse for Red. A corridor collapsed near life support and a length of pipe impaled him to a wall. Doesn't explain why he was eviscerated, but accidents happen. Then there was Pend. [Recon Team, UESV Raven, Hyades cluster] Initial assessment/personal observations: Station not responding to interstellar communications, all in stellar hails met with static. Supply ships in the previous month reported no usual traffic. Ship to investigate reason for communications blackout. (Recon team leader, 2nd LT. Veers) So we're an hour out. Brass sent us out here to found why no one answering the phones out there. They're definitely not taking chances, sent a frigate, my team plus a company of Marines. Someone must be expecting trouble, then again, most are engineers and mechanics. Could be just a broken comm line, down satellites, or a misaligned array. My two squads(one fireteam, one comm team, and an engineer team) will be first over if the station doesn't respond to close calls or signal lights. Long-range scans don't reveal much, will know soon why they ain't responding.

Veers, Hanger bay: Captain just put out the call for my team to head out over to the station. Bridge tried hailing, and flashing starboard lights for over an hour, everything just short of smoke signals; not even a flicker from any of the frequencies. Got a look from the deck, and nothing looks out of ordinary, Captain did a sweep for any ships, escape pods, or wreckage and damage; All clean and the station is intact. Hell, I could see the landing bay across from us, and the everything looks to be in order, long-range optics shows everything where it should be. I've seen court marshals over this, mass firings for it too so whatever happened was bad enough that the docking crew left them out....Made the fireteam set up senor mine on all doors leading here, on the vents and maintenance access tunnels too. Captain back on the Raven thinks I'm being paranoid, told him "all due respect sir, kiss my ass". I'll take the demonation if it means all we find is the entire station's occupants locked in the mess hall. Most of the team backed me, XO sent private communications that the captain just needed to note it. Air's getting stale, grease monkey's got to get the filtration back online before we run out of breathable oxygen. Sending half of each team out to find it, hopefully, nothing goes wrong but what scares me? what I said about the docking leaving the clamps out? there is no sign of anyone, no tools left behind, no blood, no bodies, nothing. What the hell happened here? Veers Out.
[Inside Station Esquires, 2244CT] - Recon team leader 2nd Lt. Veers reporting: Recon team only got to the section cross doors before they had to turn back. Doesn't want to scrambling half the fleet for a outbreak or something else. We're getting the docking bay up and running in the mean time, tapping into reserve power and back-up gennys. Everyone still got masks on, till the scan of the O2 is finished. Maverick said he heard some on the way back. Locked down the hall just in case. Veers out.

The ship was abandoned for years.... Yet still functions but the AI was utterly insane, not to mention the biological hazard wandering around.
One can only be sorry for this biological hazard in a non-bio world.
I like to put this on when playing Nemesis with my pals, it's a good'un.

Abandon ship with two voices? Otherwise fairly nice. Good to sleep by, or sound effect.

The only two 'voices' are an AI and seemingly an alien.

was it to late ?...or did the things simply outwitt them ? who knows....the onboard records is as spoty like the partly fragmented onboard AI's still broadcasting communications in responses to echo's in ther own networks from the last years of ruthless back and forth fighting as even children where drafted taught to help the engineering teams to secure and try re-power a complete point defense grid around the arc...to seal of every ventelation duct not defended ..every bulkhead not secured... as command razed trying to outthink the ever changing ..things.. from claiming any more of the arc...already baracks and dormatories ones teaming with activety become cold dark mold filled nightmares from wich it kept coming... and always... the guns betrayed more trying to find blind spots from the outside... in the end the echo's they responds to through mold filled vaults and spore hazzy hallways... is not of adults ,but children along side half broken drones and the sound of grenades..
