Thank you for watching our video about jade sellers at the Tucson Gem Shows! I hope next time you go, you'll visit these vendors for yourself. Have you shopped with any of these companies before? Let us know in the comments!
Hi there I just found this video the other day and I am learning more about Jade because of you guys Thank you!I was wondering if you guys had ever heard of mayan mountain? he comes to Tucson and would love to see an interview with the owner of mayan mountain
Thank you so much for watching and commenting! Jesse is one of the best guys in the biz, and I definitely plan to feature him more in future videos. In the meantime, I think you’ll enjoy our brief interview with Jesse in this video around 6:17. He talks about his Guatemalan jadeite rough and carvings, and shows some really stellar examples of blue jade.
@@JewelsoftheTrade you can explore the history of pounamu and attend Maori festivals in the south island in New Zealand. They love to share their culture with honest people like you.
I buy carving equipment from Jadecarver, and am very impressed with the quality of the equipment. I also got a block of chatoyant jade from him. Have not worked that up yet. Still researching how to carve chatoyant jade. Very pretty color.
Did you see Washington Jade (on Etsy as JadesofWashington) there? It would be cool to see you do a video about them, too. They have cats eye & dragon eye jade & several other varieties 👍
I did! 😃 They were at the AGTA show, which is for the trade only, so we didn’t feature them in this video. Fabulous material! I would love to have them on the channel to discuss cats eye jade 😊
I'm so jealous. I wish I could go. Nikki Makepeace was looking into finding me some grade A core samples before getting ready for Tucson. Then going from Canadian nephrite to Guatemalan jadeite at Mayan mountain. I just wish I was able to go.
In India pink and red and orange jade are common and worth less than the green jade , in the US we pretty much only get green and blue and super dark green/blue to the point of being black jade , the red and pink jades are jadeite jade which is worth more than nephrite jade also so the red is worth more than the green from America but not as much as the burma green jade
