We need the ultimate 101 Bloodstock Festival guide 😂 only in United Kingdom would you experience 4 seasons in a day weather 🤣 solidified as a illustrious structurel festival establishment in prestigious British heavy metal music history that officially opened by Paul Raymond Gregory and Vince Brotheridge who'd collaborated in a secret deal not to be touched untill officially opened the refurbished Bloodstock Open Air in 2005 to the ubiquitous congregation :) Saxon headlined the debut original Bloodstock Festival In 2001. The debut festival attracted a mere 680 people, steadily the festival grew each year with 2015 attracting just shy of 15,000 fans attending the 4 day event. Bloodstock is Independent, family owned and run and has one of the BEST Atmosphere’s of ANY UK festival, this has been told hundreds of times by people who attend a lot of festivals both fans and industry. Fantastic accolade. The people need a roadshow currently across every UK city looking for the bands of tomorrow, the platform to get in front of thousands of fans, agents, press and industry with a view to find the next Motorhead or Iron Maiden. The UK has bred some of the world's BIGGEST stars including the likes of Phil Collins, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Cliff Richard, the late Lemmy from Motorhead and more recently the late David Bowie. The Rock and Metal world doesn’t get the support of what is classed as popular music or as we look at it, “Music of the moment”. The Rock and Metal genre was born out of Blues and has lasted the test of time and will continue to do so. The Bloodstock Festival is in my top 5 heavy metal live venues, not just within UK tho worldwide :)
